KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE: The cross message is super encouraging because the more you go down, the more the LORD is going to raise you upward.

Horizontal ministry flows out of Vertical Worship! And also vertical worship causes enlightenment (2 Corinthians 3:16-18)….

The cross is first upward (vertical), then outward, horizontal.

The cross life daily assures that the Holy Ghost of God is raising you upward and using you outward.

This is how divine ministry flows from the life of the saint.

As the death of Christ works in you, the resurrection life of Christ is going to powerfully work in and raise upward your life!

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11

Are you beginning to grasp this central original Gospel message of the cross of Christ beloved of God? It’s the re-enactment of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus in your daily life. Read Romans 6 each morning this week.

The Remnant of Christ is known in that they are Christ-centered and therefore cross grounded!

“And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root DOWNWARD, and bear fruit UPWARD:” Isaiah 37:31

God’s people are taking “root DOWNWARD” (death and burial) and therefore being raised upward – they are bearing “fruit UPWARD.” Boom. The divine economy is a cross economy: Death – Burial – Resurrection!

Always remember dear saints, there are no shortcuts.

God will only raised up those who are bowed down before Him.

“The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.” Psalms 145:14

The LORD uses crucified vessels.

ARE you asking God to use you today?

Christ’s true remnant is about His business.

YOUR PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ my LORD. Please forgive my iniquitous self-idolatry, for not truly trusting and walking with You on Your stated terms. I ask Your forgiveness for all my sins right this moment. Please wash me afresh, wash me clean in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I love You LORD Jesus. Please increase LORD in this life as I choose to decrease this day to joyfully honor You to have the full pre-eminence in this life You gave. Have Your way in me from this moment forth. A financial investor takes your money and multiplies it for your last few years in this temporal life, right? In contrast, laborers for Christ take your support and multiply it for Christ and themselves for all eternity. In Christ’s eternal kingdom – everybody wins, all the time, forever. King Jesus reigns forever!

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

Paul was not coveting any man’s money – “I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel.” (Acts 20:33) No! He wanted God’s people to invest in Christ’s eternal kingdom – into eternal souls – and by doing so fill their “account” in Heaven. – “Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.” (Philippians 4:17)

God gives the increase of lost souls as “For we are labourers together with God.”

“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:6-9
