Well Done Thou Good And Faithful Servant [podcast]

Will You Hear ‘Well Done’ or ‘Depart from Me’? [podcast]

“But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:” Revelation 2:25-26

If I am truly following Jesus, I am learning to SERVE – and we know that because of what He taught and what He did while on earth.

“But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:25-28

Everything we have been given temporary possession of, is given to us by God so we’d use it to serve others as unto the LORD (Matthew 25; Colossians 3:17).

“All things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.” 1 Chronicles 29:14

Jesus tells us afresh, right this moment, to “Occupy till I come.” (Luke 19:13) GOD desires to entrust us with more and He sure will, when He sees us being faithful, faithfully using with what He’s already given us to use for His glory – as we are about our Father’s business (Matthew 25:21; Luke 2:49; 2 Corinthians 9:6-11). And, He’s watching (2 Chronicles 16:9; Mark 12:41-44). As we look for His soon return, our LORD is watching to see that our hand is still on the plow of the Great Commission He gave us – to teach and preach His Word (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 9:62, etc.).

Are YOU supporting the work of Christ, of His Gospel? God is watching the way you spend each and every penny He has and is giving you (Mark 12:41-44). He’s holding you personally responsible to support His Gospel work (Matthew 9:35-38). Are you ready to get your house in order?

In contrast to the example set forth by popular wolves in sheep’s clothing today, you are a servant not a celebrity (Matthew 20:20-28; 23:8-12).

YOUR BEST LIFE is then, in Heaven, not now – IF you were born again and are presently abiding in Christ on HIS written terms. Flash point: The greed-driven, covetous devil who wrote the book “Your Best Life Now” has now retired from “ministry”, going away a multi-millionaire due to the self-serving gullible dupes who paid this wolf to lie to them (2 Timothy 4:2-4). If you bought any book from Joel Osteen or any other enemy of Christ, it’s because you were/are serving the god of self. It’s time to repent and ask the LORD to forgive you for bidding Godspeed to Jesus’ very enemies (2 John 7-11). Are you living your best LIE now by taking and not giving? Love gives – Lust gets. Are you emptying your self and substance for Jesus in this fleeting life OR are you too busy lavishing all you get on the god of self? God says a whole lot about stewardship and tells us that lack of stewardship reveals an apostate, hell bound heart/soul (Matt 6:19-24; Lk 12, 16, etc.). ATTN: If you l live in America, you are “rich” in God’s eyes/biblical terms. Rich simply means having enough to pay your bills. Does God come first in your spending or do you? Read Proverbs 3:9-10.

A man who is a prophet is first a servant by the mercy of God and does not have to say it and should not be dwelling on a title but the serving function of the gift of God in him. Prophet is not a title and anyone touting it as a title is automatically to be considered false. Read what Jesus taught: Matt 20:24-28; 23:8-12. If God has placed a certain gifting in a man it’s only for the LORD’s glory and for the man it’s to be tools to humbly serve – Read 1 Peter 4:10-11.

Desiring and working (not greed or covetously) hard to earn more money is a good thing. Yet, are you giving out of what you now have/earn? Does God find you faithful? What vision do you have for helping others and Christ’s work if you begin earning more?

SO, you have refused to get up every morning and seek God, a basic responsibility, and yet you expect God to use you in greater ways? Delusional. Repent and “Search the scriptures daily…” Acts 17:10-11; John 5:39

You are expecting God’s blessings and yet are’t putting Him “first”? Not going to happen. Matthew 6:33
