BECAUSE YOU, the body of Christ, because you stepped up for the glory of Jesus Christ, God is doing mighty things (Hebrews 11:6). These Bibles and books are on their way to bless our dear brother in Christ, chaplain Todd Herbert…. to assist him in ministering to 400 inmates ….. The following Bibles and ministry books are on their way to brother Herbert and these precious inmates whom Jesus died and rose again to save (1 Timothy 2:4-6).

These are on their way to Sebastian Detention Ctr in Arkansas for our LORD to minister to those inmates. Might we pause a moment to lift this in prayer – that our LORD will use these Bibles and the Scripture-rich books to minister exponentionally to many? Remember how just a few fish and loaves were multiplied by Jesus to feed thousands? (John 6) | STORE

[podcast] In a small prison cell, Justin Weeks was about to commit suicide when the LORD interrupted him and saved him. Hear this amazing testimony in this podcast.

God said ‘Nope Satan, Justin is mine!!!’ God doesn’t want any to perish but some don’t listen when God tries to get their attention. Justin listened and God spared his life! God is blessing this ministry for your faithfulness to Him! Rejoicing in what the Lord is doing! So blessed to be a part of it.” Karen Cochran

Here’s a picture of Justin Weeks just after he was released, having been miraculously set free after facing 25 to 99 years in jail. He was starting over completely and so brother Bill and I had got some clothes, a whole wardrobe together for Justin to pick and choose from. Bill gave him a job and a place to stay. Listen to this podcast if you wish to hear more of this miraculous story of our great God and King Jesus Christ.

Sister Karen Cochcran contacted brother Todd Herbert, pastoral chaplain of Sebastian County Adult Detention Center in Arkansas, offering to see how we could help our brother. She writes:

“These inmates are very hungry. This chaplain is begging for more Bibles and books because he can’t keep them in stock. The Chaplin says since June, 150 inmates have received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Hallelujah! They are hungry for something to fill their empty hearts! Only Jesus can do that! God will go to people who are hungry. Just as Jesus did. Modern Christians are not thirsting for more of Jesus. Just as the Pharisees, they think all is well, or so they believe!” Karen Cochran

We want to minister to Christ’s ministers saints – Just as Obadiah did in the days of Elijah, when he fed and supplied the needs of the 100 prophets who remained true to the LORD (1 Kings 18:4). And just as the bless-ed Epaphroditus did as he ministered to the needs of the beloved apostle Paul (Philippians 2:25; 4:18).

There is no ministry so important as keeping the Christ’s “few” laborers supplied and healthy (Matthew 9:35-38). When they are healthy and taken care of, they will minister for our LORD with maximum fruitfulness for Christ’s glory (John 15; 1 Corinthians 9:1-14; 15:10, etc.).

“And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42

This seems to be an amazing grace opportunity our LORD has opened up for us to serve Him in. According to what money comes in, that is what will be use to order these Bibles and books. The amount of Bibles and books mailed to this beloved laborer of our LORD, our brother Todd Herbert, will be determined by the supply that comes in. Let’s roll saints. This world is over.
