The Glorious Church Jesus is Returning for [video]
WHAT church/people is Jesus returning for?
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:25-27
- “a glorious church”
- “not having spot (no sin)“
- No “wrinkle”
- “or any such thing”
- “but that it should be holy and without blemish”
WHAT’s the use of talking about end times and the events of these final days if we aren’t even going to be “READY” when Jesus does return?
“Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Luke 12:40
Jesus is not coming back for those who are hiding behind the falsity of “eternal security” as they make excuse for their sin instead of honestly facing God with it in true repentance which always yields a holy life.
Holiness is not the way to Christ but rather Christ is the way to holiness. Abiding in Christ IS abiding holy – in the divine definition of holy. The key is that holiness is NOT the way to God but rather Christ is the way to holiness, His way, His definition – which is the daily cross (Luke 9:23-24). Abiding fellowship with Christ, on HIS terms, is holiness – being set apart to the LORD, in the LORD (Psalms 4:3; John 15).
With no exception, ALL wise virgin believers are in the Word daily (Matthew 25:1-13).
MESSAGE RECEIVED:
“So every time I sin, which is daily, I’m not saved again? I’m a human, so…..I pray to lay down to the will of Jesus daily. I guess I better never fail at it again. I am saved or not saved. I fail, but I try daily to not. Addiction is idolatry. I understand that. I pray Jesus relieves/delivers me totally from it.”
REPLY:
That’s a human reasoning question. Read and embrace the Bible itself. LET GOD answer your question. You are justifying sin too which God never gave you the instruction to do. How much of our sin did Jesus come to die for and to keep out of our lives? What does the Bible say? And, if Jesus died to take away our sin, did He not give us His grace to live pleasing to Him? Read John 1:29; 2 Cor 7:1; Titus 2:11-4; 1 John 3:3-10. Memorize 1 Peter 1:15-16.
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14
You are either going to walk away from this conversation saying “I don’t want to deal with my sin. I do not want to be accountable for my every thought and deed.” OR …. “LORD, please forgive me for not being fully given over to You. I now declare afresh that I am all Yours my LORD Jesus. Please forgive and wash away all my sins, cleanse me, and fill me with Your Holy Ghost afresh. In Jesus’ name.”
Personally, I have the regular need for such a giving over of myself to the LORD. This is the answer and not making excuse for our sin, living in sin, hiding behind a false doctrine. Memorize Proverbs 28:13.
“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13
Among the many who profess to know Christ, the remnant in known is that they judge themselves, daily examine themselves before God and man (1 Corinthians 11:31-32). They remain vigilant, ready to meet the soon coming KING – who’s coming back for His bride which is “a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:25-27) The true disciple of Jesus never makes excuse for his sins. Instead he’s repentant, broken, contrite, and convicted and readily admits his faults and sins in confession before the LORD (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 1:6-2:2, etc.).
We all come to this same junction. It’s a cross moment dear sister. You are not alone. Yet, we must forge ahead into death and burial, crying out to Jesus to raise us up in His glorious power and grace. HE is able. We aren’t. We must cry out to the LORD with John the Baptist that “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30)
ONLY the LORD is able…. His grace is fully sufficient for us in all things, bringing complete victory, when we are weak in self, crucified with Christ, then He brings His resurrection power and victory! (2 Corinthians 4:10-12; 12:9-10)
I am praying for you. We’ve ALL been there and all live in the flesh and GOD is able, as we are crucified with Christ to make us “MORE than conquerors.” (Romans 8:37)
I am praying for you and want to give you 3 messages that will help you greatly.
