WHAT’s the use of talking about end times and the events of these final days if we aren’t even going to be “READY” when Jesus does return?

To the Church in Sardis

“And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” Revelation 3:1-6

“The false church system is busy validating people God DOESN’T validate to keep them from actually taking inventory of themselves and testing themselves if they are in the faith. That is why Jesus said… ‘How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?’ (John 5:44)”

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” 2 Peter 3:10-14

Most who believe OSAS/eternal security are not honestly seeking to apprehend and embrace the truth, they’re looking to justify a mere cliché which actually, blatantly contradicts what’s in black and white in the Bible, God’s Word.

“For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.” Hebrews 13:14

Lose your life, gain your soul. Gain your life, lose your soul.

Lose your life in this world – abandon it to follow Christ = gain it forever with Him.

Gain your life in this world – abandon Christ to fulfill your own dreams, visions, and lusts = lose your eternal soul in the torment of hell.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” John 12:25

“ACCOUNTED WORTHY”

The genuine saint of Christ welcomes correction, welcomes light shining on his darkness – in order to rid his life of all that his not holy (John 3:19-21; 1 Corinthians 11:31-32; Psalms 51; 139:23-24, etc.).

Jesus says to His own that we must “endure to the end” to be “saved.” (Matthew 10:22; 24:13) What could Christ possibly have meant, other than what He plainly stated? Some falsely teach that God requires nothing except initial saving faith. Nonsense. Such a doctrine is only espoused by rebels who refuse to truly repent, lay down their life in this fleeting world and truly follow Jesus. They want Jesus to save them from hell but not sin. They aren’t interested in truly knowing, loving and therefore obeying Jesus – instead they just want to use Him to save them from hell. But He sees right through this and says through His apostle: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

Some teach falsely, namely that there are no conditions to appropriate God’s salvation. This is utterly false. That would mean EVERYONE is going to Heaven and we know Jesus says only a “few” will be going to glory while all others will suffer the vengeance of eternal fire (Matthew 7:13-14).

Jesus used the phrase “accounted worthy” which alone means God is going to choose and to reject those who do not meet HIS conditions.

Jesus speaks of “they which shall be ACCOUNTED WORTHY to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead.” (Luke 20:35)

“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36

It’s clear that all, most will not be “ACCOUNTED WORTHY” to be in eternity with the LORD, such as the 5 foolish virgins in Jesus’ parable who were shut out of the bridal chamber with the Bridegroom, Jesus (Matthew 25:1-13).

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

Jesus taught us that man’s sin comes out of his “desperately wicked” heart (Jeremiah 17:9).

“And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” Mark 7:20-23

Mankind’s core dilemma is sin (Romans 1-3). Jesus Christ came and died to “save his people from their sins,“ to “taketh away the sin of the world,“ and not to merely deal with fallen man on a surface level as on a mental level (Matthew 1:21; John 1:29). God doesn’t band aid broken things, He heals and makes them whole to the root because the root determines the fruit (Matthew 12:33; Luke 4:18, etc.). Christ’s salvation is perfect. Evil is in our hearts and proceeds forth from that wicked heart until Christ regenerates us (Genesis 6:5, 12; Jeremiah 17:9; John 3:3, 7; Titus 3:5-7). This is why the sinner must of divine necessity be born again, must be made completely new “by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5-7). Then and not before then, the born again saint of Christ is made a “a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God” (2 Corinthians 5:17-18).

Is Romans 7 Before or After Paul’s Salvation?

Don’t trust yourself, trust God and deny self! “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered” (Proverbs 26:28).

Only Satan and his children live by the diabolical edict of “be true to yourself.” Knowing how wretched they are of themselves, without Christ, those who are known of God live by “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

People don’t have a “mental health” problem, they have a SIN problem and sin is what gives way, gives full access to Satan!
