Update: Water Baptism of Brothers Daniel and Justin [ video ]

Justin’s water baptism. Of his own accord Justin confessed all his sins afresh and asked the LORD to fill him with the Holy Spirit and to have HIS way in his life.

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20

Water baptism is the public declaration that you are now dead, buried, and raised up with Christ, by Christ. Your old life is behind you! Thank God right! 2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Jesus has saved you the moment you repented and believed on Him! Amen.

And there’s also the blessing of asking God to fill us with the Holy Spirit right….

The NEW TESTAMENT program Jesus gave includes the baptism with the Holy Spirit. It’s essential to see the power of God working in your life to do His work (Acts 1:8).

“But ye shall receive power, AFTER that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8

“AFTER” and not before. WHEN did JESUS say “ye shall receive power”? When? – “AFTER that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.”
