It recently dawned on me that Mama was right about most everything she ever told me:

*Sunshine is good for the body and soul.

*A brisk walk clears the mind.

*Vegetables are good for you .

*Pick up your house at night and you will never wake up to a mess.

*A penny saved is a penny earned.

*Always take time to pick up a penny. If you don’t care about pennies, your dollars won’t matter ethier.

*There is no shame in using a coupon.

*Coupons and discounts are the same as money in the bank.

3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

Proverbs 12:27 “The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.”

*No matter what kind of house you have, you can make it look good by keeping it clean.

*You never know what someone is going through.

*Babies need love, attention, and songs.

*Children are a gift from God. Don’t let anybody tell you anything different.

*Always respect your elders.

*Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing.

*Don’t worry about what everyone else is saying .

*Do what is right and you will never go wrong.

*Measure twice, cut once .

*Words spoken can’t be be undone.

*A man’s word is his bond.

*A woman’s work is never done.

Psalm 127: 3 “Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.”

1 Peter 4: 15 “But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.”

Matthew 5: 37 ” But let your communication be, Yea, yea;  Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”

Proverbs 18: 21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

*Waste not, want not.

*Always work hard. God is watching.

*Always be honest. God is watching.

*If you put things back where they go, they will never get lost.

*Into every life, a little rain must fall .

*Everybody has problems.

*God cares about people’s problems.

*Don’t judge a book by its cover.

*The world would be a better place if everyone would read their Bibles in the morning.

*Prayer changes things.

*A quilt is the best blanket of all.

*Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

*A clean house runs better .

“No one is better than anybody else.

Colossians 3:23-24

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”

Romans 5: 3-5

“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;  And patience, experience, and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed: because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto  us.”

Psalm 63:1

“O GOD, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.”

*Without rain, there would be no flowers.

*Without sunshine, there would be no flowers.

*There is no substitute for a good night’s sleep.

*God provides.

“Take care of what God gives you and it will last.

*Take care of what God gives you and He will trust you with more.

*God is love.

*God has a plan for your life.

*Put God first and everything else will fall into place.
