The Cross and the Crown

If there’s no cross in your life, there will be no crown.

No one can follow Jesus outside of doing it the way HE requires – the cross, the crucified life.

“And he said to them all, IFFFF (conditional) any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”  Luke 9:23-24

The one and done fairytale is a doctrine of devils. Either you have repented, believed on Christ, and are presently abiding, remaining, continuing in Christ – ON HIS STATED TERMS – you are as sure for hell as if you were already there (John 15:6; Romans 11:20-22; 2 Peter 2:20-22; Hebrews 3:6; 12-15; 10:26-39, etc.).

God’s blessings are conditional, not un-conditional. Beware of the false teachers (Deuteronomy 30:19-20; Joshua 24:15; Matthew 10:22; 24:13; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; 2 Timothy 2:11-12; 1 John 1:7; Revelation 2-3, etc.).

“… be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a CROWN of life.” Revelation 2:10

“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:” Revelation 2:26

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy CROWN.” Revelation 3:11

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a CROWN of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:6-10
