Observable and Stated Phenomenon
of the Depraved Nature
“Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” Psalms 32:7
The LORD is our hiding place from the storms of life. One of those storms is the condemnation of others, namely the sons of Belial who pose as Christians, watchmen, and pastors (2 Corinthians 11:12-15).
The LORD has revealed to us through His apostle Paul that the unsanctified soul will accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of. This is a type of projection of one’s own darkness upon another by false accusation, seeking to if but for a brief moment, relieve their own guilty souls of the burden only Christ can alleviate. Has this happened to you?
“Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?” Romans 2:1-3
Lately, I have spoken to several of Christ’s disciples who are being falsely accused by people who are actually guilty of the exact sin(s) they are falsely accusing them of. Beware of this phenomenon which is addressed in Holy Scripture. Also, our Savior told us that if we truly follow Him, that “men shall … say ALL manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” (Matthew 5:11)
R.A. Torrey wrote:
“The humility of Jesus Christ was manifested in His silence under false accusation. Jesus did not defend His own good name. He left that to God. He ‘committed himself to him that judgeth righteously” and God has given Him ‘the name that is above every name.’ (Phil. 2:9)” What the Bible Teaches, p. 128
“For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life. 14 But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.” Psalms 31:13-14
As I read the New Testament Scriptures, it becomes more and more clear that IF someone is not slandering you, you aren’t a powerful force in the hand of Christ – who promised that all who follow Him WILL be persecuted and lied about (Matthew 5:10-12; 10:22; 2 Timothy 3:12; 1 Peter 4:12-14, etc.).
Learn to wear the scorn of others as a badge of honor – realizing that it only proves you are in the light of Christ – right in the middle of God’s perfect will! Read Acts 5:41.
Another Stated Phenomenon is the Promise of Divine Protection!
You are set apart for the LORD’s glory!
“But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.” Psalms 4:3
“Let the heathen rage.” (Psalms 2) Learning to die down deep into the death of Christ, to be dead and buried with Him daily, is the key to be hidden away with Him in complete comfort with “the God of all comfort.” (2 Corinthians 1:2-5)
It’s just amazing how people can sink to such depths of darkness proven by the things they dare to make up about others in their railing accusations, and even more amazing how our LORD protects us and gives us total peace and disregard for the judgment of mere sinful men!!!!
Are YOU “Blessed” According to this Description Jesus Gives?
Our LORD Jesus, who was persecuted even unto death, is bringing us to the place that we actually get concerned about our spiritual state with Him if we are not being attacked, persecuted, and lied about (Matthew 5:10-12; 1 Peter 4:12-14).
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12
Are you rejoicing because you are “Blessed”?!!!
Throw those hands up and give Jesus praise!!!!
Jesus promised that in the last days, these days in which we live, “the love of many shall wax cold” and they will turn on the righteous (Matthew 24:10-13). So, that gives you and I more opportunities to “rejoice” in light of the soon coming Savior who is going to give each of us a new name! (Revelation 3:12) These things will not even be remembered nor come into mind! (Isaiah 65:17)
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” Isaiah 65:17
Help me count! HOW MANY judges are there?!?!?!
“Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is ONE LAWGIVER, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” James 4:11-12
WHO? WHO? WHO?
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Romans 8:33-34
WHERE Does Your Judgment/Verdict Come from?
“Let my sentence (verdict) come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.” Psalms 17:2
Beloved saint, if at this time you are not being falsely accused or someone is not dragging up an old sin against you, trust me, if Jesus tarries, such will occur again. Read Psalms. David suffered at the hands of multitudes of evil doers – Satan’s children – who falsely accused him and attempted to condemn him for past sins. Find your comfort in the LORD alone of whom the psalmist says “Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.” (Psalms 31:20)
Hid with Christ in God!
“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3
Observable and stated phenomenon of the depraved nature. The unsanctified soul will accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of. This is a type of projection of one’s own darkness upon another in false accusation, seeking to if but for a brief moment, relieve their own guilty souls of the burden only Christ can alleviate. Let’s review it again….

DIVINE INSULATION! WHO? WHO? WHO?

Lynne Parker writes:
“I truly believe Christians will be tried by the Word in this hour. There is no more riding the fence or taking a neutral position. God Himself will place us all in a position to stand or fall according to the Word. “Deception” and its sister “delusion” are gripping the Body of Christ – like a dark cloud it is covering the land. The false dominion (NAR) theology and signs and wonders movement has effectively conditioned multitudes to forsake the authority of God’s Word and embrace their subjective feelings as guidance in discernment concerns. But in these latter days only those who divorce their feelings and trust only in God’s Word and have developed a love for the truth will overcome the devil’s schemes. Sadly many will be lost – it’s unfolding right before us.”

JESUS IS COMING AND THE TRUE BODY OF CHRIST IS “HOLDING FORTH (BOLDLY DECLARING) THE WORD OF LIFE”
“Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” Philippians 2:16
WHEN you speak God’s Word, you are speaking divine authority.
“These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” Titus 2:15
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20
“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Philemon 1:6
“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16
Nourishing the Body of Christ
“If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” 1 Timothy 4:6
“All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.” Proverbs 15:15
The best way to learn is to teach.
HOW well do you know your way around in God’s Word?
Jesus knew His way around God’s Word. Do you? If not, why not?
“And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he FOUND the place where it was written,” Luke 4:17
The disciple of Christ must daily and diligently search, study, and learn God’s Word in light of His Great Commission command to us to teach His Word to others (Matthew 28:18-20). Our ability to minister is in large part based on our knowledge of God’s Word or the ability to navigate God’s Word (King James Bible).
MAKE THE DIFFERENCE – OBEY GOD, “PREACH THE WORD.” (2 TIMOTHY 4:2)
Tip: Always know WHERE you are reading in God’s Word – chapter and verse. You’ll be surprised at the repertoire that begins to build, making you, like Jesus, a good navigator of our LORD’s Word as you preach His Word (Luke 4:17).
Have you ever pondered why there is little or no Scripture being used when listening to someone pretending to be speaking about the LORD? You should wonder (Matthew 7:16, 20; 1 John 4:1).
“Preach the word” is the divine mandate, command (2 Timothy 4:2).
Let us cease to pretend that we represent the LORD when everything we say isn’t coming straight out of His Word. Read that again please.
“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles (written Word) of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11
Think God is calling you to serve? Good. If He has saved you, He has called you (Ephesians 2:8-10; 4:7). Get lost in His Word every day (Jeremiah 15:16). Read it (Revelation 1:3). Study it (2 Timothy 2:15). Memorize it (Proverbs 4:4). Meditate upon it day and night (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1). THAT’s your prep for ministry, not going to an antichrist seminary. Jesus inducted you into His school of the Holy Ghost and Word the moment He saved you.
“As I was listening I was thinking of Paul. Who was a very educated man in the law. But after he was saved he spent three years being taught exclusively by the Lord Jesus Himself. And he says he “conferred not with flesh and blood.” But he was taught “by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Gal 1:12-18). All of us should be taught by the Lord in His Word and not learned through mere men or books. But by a direct revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus is The Word of God (John 1:1, Rev 19:13).” Karen Cochran
