The Prince who Came to bring Peace
is God’s Will for All Men
God sent His only begotten Son to bring peace between God and His fallen creation. When Jesus was born into this earth the announcement from Heaven was one of great joy and peace which is God’s intention and will for “all men.” (John 12:32)
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:10-14
Do you believe that God is good? What did He communicate to us is His will for all of mankind? What is God’s will for you? – “GOOD will.”
“Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.” Acts 3:26
Why did the Father send His only begotten Son? – “to bless you”!!!
How did Jesus come to “bless you”? – “in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”
Since God’s divine nature is holy, He cannot have a relationship with any person who isn’t made holy by Him. – “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” (Isa. 59:2)
God, who is holy, is also “gracious.”
“But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and GRACIOUS, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.” Psalms 85:15
God sent His Son to bless all people (Jn. 3:16; Acts 3:26; 1 Jn. 2:2). The LORD Almighty is postured or “ready to FORGIVE” and not condemn (Ps. 86:5; Jn. 3:17; Lk. 9:56). This is His ultimate will and yet, if a person refuses to repent and place their trust in the only Salvation – Jesus Christ – he has rejected the LORD’s offer and will be made to pay for his own sins in the lake of fire – forever (Isa. 1:18-20; Rev. 20:11-15).
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 1:18-20
“The whole world lieth in wickedness” and yet our Creator has shined on us all (2 Cor. 4:6; 1 Jn. 5:19). He has found us while we were yet in the gall of offense against Him! What love is this?! Unfathomable! He – the “Prince of Peace” Himself – actually came down from Heaven and paid the price to gain us back! (Isa. 9:6-7; Rom. 5:6-8; 2 Cor. 5:19, 21)“
“For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” Romans 11:32-33
The whole world was under the dark cloud of sin! Fallen man was groping in darkness for thousands of years ….. AND THEN came the light – the Messiah – then came Jesus!!!
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4
And the “Light” Himself made this promise:
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12
Jesus is the light. I don’t know about you, but I do know this much about me: I NEED JESUS!!!! – MORE than anyone else! Why? Because He is holy and I (like all men) am desperately wicked, darkened in heart, and depraved in myself, and therefore utterly and profoundly in need of and desperate for Jesus! This is why the following words of Holy Writ mean so much – to those who agree with God that they are utterly depraved and without hope without Him.
Listen with your heart to these words of your God and Maker:
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 1:68-79
God’s will toward men is that of “peace” and “good.”
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:10-14
May God bless each of us – His children – to spread HIS love during this season. How did God so love the whole world?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:17
Did God send Jesus to condemn us/all men?
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17
ALL men have sinned against the one true, holy God and are guilty and worthy of eternal punishment, BUT JESUS !!!!!!
“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” 1 Timothy 1:15
Spread His love – Jesus Christ – this season. Dare to ask the LORD to open doors for the ministry of His Spirit and Word! Beg Him to fill and use you. Ask Him to let His holy light shine through your life!
You can pray John 3:30 right now – “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Christ promised, “Ask and ye shall receive.” (Matt. 7:7)
Somebody says “But you don’t understand. I have not been close to God lately …. I have sinned, so I have to work my way back to the LORD. I can’t just ask for and receive His forgiveness, and ask for Him to use me!” Oh really? Let’s compare that to what Scripture Truth tells us:
You were NEVER at any time in your existence worthy of God’s gift of Christ or His forgiveness, and all the rest of the myriad of “benefits” He gave you in Jesus (Ps. 103:2).
Is there a time lapse between when you turn back to God (repent), confess your sins, and ask Him to fill and use you? NO! It’s done upon repentance! (1 John 1:9)
What did Jesus tell His disciple Peter to do after he sinned? – “when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” (Lk. 22:32)
Is it time to shake off your own thoughts, forsaking them for God’s? Are not His thoughts infinitely higher and superior to your own? (Isa. 55:8-9)
“God is love.” 1 John 4:16
The Father sent the Son, who sent the Spirit and you – to be the salt of the earth, seasoning and blessing others with the only essential healing – a relationship with their Maker.
“And the Spirit and the bride (all who are His) say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17
The LORD bless each of us to “say, Come” to those without His eternal and blessed kingdom. May He bless each of us to step outside of ourselves, and may He open doors for the ministry of His Word – to call men to “come” to Him as He prescribed – in “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Acts 20:21)
God has shown His favor on each of us who are born again into Jesus. May He now bless each of us to be used of Him, as a minister of reconciliation, communicating His love to other and how they too can be rescue into His blessed eternal, kingdom.
He said He is the light and that you are too – because He lives and shines in and through you! Go tell it on the mountain, saint of Christ. What have you to lose?
YOUR PRAYER TO THE LORD: Holy Father in Heaven, I want to take this moment to thank You that Your compassions fail not, and that they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness! Thank You for all You have done for me. Forgive my sins afresh through the precious blood of Jesus, and fill me and bless me to be Your vessel of honor, bringing glory to You alone. Please use this vessel, Your vessel, to bring other men to You for the first time and to bring the backslidden home to You! I love You, Jesus. Amen

“But God, who is Rich in Mercy” [podcast]

Ephesians 2:1-10
“1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Dancing on Hell’s Grave: Why We Need not Fear Death: Resurrection Joy – Fearless in Death [podcast]

Resurrection Joy – Fearless in Death
– Dancing on Hell’s Grave
“But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.” Proverbs 1:33
Dancing on Fear’s Grave!
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:55
Those who are ready to die and be with Jesus do not fear death (1 John 4:16-18).
Eternal perspective. Hope for eternal rest, glory with Christ and the Father.
In Christ, when we close our eyes in death, we awake to the resurrection bliss of eternal joy with Him who is “the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25).
“For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.” 1 Corinthians 15:16-21
We are fully confident that the moment we pass, we breathe our last, we shall “be present with the Lord.”
“Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:6-8
The death of a Christian is not a tragedy.
Death is our passport to glory.
Death without Jesus Christ is the tragedy.
What have we to fear other than the long wait till we meet Him?!
“I think it’s sad to see so many who claim to be Christians
acting all worried about dying… I get excited more each day
about getting to be with the Lord.
The good ole days are just ahead!
Happy New Years!” Kirk
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21
For the one who is truly in Christ, “to die is gain.”
“For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.” Hebrews 13:14
Jesus Christ is “the resurrection and the life” and will soon raise up into eternal glory all who truly know Him.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” John 11:25
Jesus Christ is the “Exceeding Great Reward” of every true believer (Genesis 15:1). They seek nothing more than Him! He is truly their “first love” and all consuming passion (Revelation 2:4-5). He’s coming back soon and He promised that He’s going to reward every man according to his work which is the reflection of of what’s in a man’s heart.
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:12
Because Jesus rose again, all who are born again in Him are raised up spiritually in this life to overcome all sin, satan, and the world and will be soon raised up into eternal glory with Him.
“And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.” Romans 1:4
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
Where O Where is it! Now, say these blessed, divinely-inspired words of our LORD Jesus Christ aloud prayerfully –“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:55)
GOT FEAR? – “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalms 34:4) So, what is the divine prescription for being delivered from all fear? Read the verse again and you will notice that seeking the face of the LORD is your deliverance.
Seeking the LORD is always the answer. Getting delivered from “ALL” fear:
“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” Psalms 34:4
Notice here that one must seek the LORD for deliverance from fear.
Why do we fear?
“People fear because their faith is in self, not in God. Therefore they try and meet their own needs. Matt. 6:33 says when we make God’s kingdom and His righteousness a priority He will meet our needs.” Karen Cochran
All fear shall be dispelled as the regenerated disciple diligently seeks the LORD – the only One who “is love.”
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:16-18
When someone close to us passes on to the next life, dies, we need not fear, namely if they were known of God (Isaiah 57:1-2).
Jesus Again Foretells Death, Resurrection
Remember how Jesus’ disciples were “exceeding sorry” when He foretold of His own death, burial, and resurrection?
“And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: 23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.” Matthew 17:22-23
Of this passage, Shadrack Rotich notes: “They were saddened and forgot to be encouraged by the Word of Jesus that in 3 days He was raising again.”
Because our LORD Jesus was raised from the dead, so we have full hope and confidence that so shall all who are known of Him. We need not therefore fear or sorrow.

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (raise up, make alive) your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11
“The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. 2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.” Isaiah 57:1-2
Pray this: Father thank You so very much for sending Your only begotten Son for me! Thank You that the Son of God died and You raised Him again to justify me and that Your resurrection life and power indwells me today as I abide identified with and in the death and burial of Jesus! Glory to God Most High! Thank You LORD Jesus for Your resurrection power to victoriously overcome all sin, Satan, and this sinful world and to be fruitful in helping others know You. I now look for Your soon return LORD Jesus. Amen Jesus!

Young’s Literal Translation YLT Exposed

by Will Kinney
Anyone who tries to pawn off Young’s “literal” translation as being the infallible words of God simply does not know what he is talking about. It is not even a good translation. It is little more than a passing footnote in the ever changing panorama of perverted bible versions that have come and gone over the years.
There is only one Bible that has stood the test of time and its critics. There is only one Bible that is believed and defended by thousands of Bible believers today as being the true “book of the LORD”- the Authorized King James Holy Bible – celebrating over 400 years of being THE Bible of the English speaking people.
Let’s compare a bit:
One that made me laugh out loud when I first saw it was 1 Kings 18:21.
Here we read in the KJB: “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long HALT YE BETWEEN TWO OPINIONS? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”
But Youngs “literal” has: “and Elijah cometh nigh unto all the people, and saith, `TILL WHEN ARE YE LEAPING ON THE TWO BRANCHES? — if Jehovah [is] God, go after Him; and if Baal, go after him;’ and the people have not answered him a word.”
—————
Here is the YLT telling us Jesus had to be saved which would mean He was a sinner:
Zechariah 9:9 KJB – “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, AND HAVING SALVATION; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”
Youngs – “Rejoice exceedingly, O daughter of Zion, Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem, Lo, thy King doth come to thee, Righteous — AND SAVED IS HE, Afflicted — and riding on an ass, And on a colt — a son of she-asses.”
—————
Acts 11:26 KJB – “And the disciples WERE CALLED Christians first in Antioch.”
Young’s 1898 – “the disciples also WERE DIVINELY CALLED first in Antioch Christians.”
The KJB and almost every other Bible reads: “And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples WERE CALLED Christians first in Antioch.
—————
Youngs’ “literal” has many examples of mind-boggling, ridiculous readings as well.
In Psalms 141:7 we read: “Our bones are scattered at the grave’s mouth, as when ONE CUTTETH AND CLEAVETH WOOD upon the earth.
But in Youngs we see: Psalm 141:7 “As ONE TILLING AND RIPPING UP THE LAND, Have our bones been scattered AT THE COMMAND OF SAUL.” (Say What?)
—————
1 Samuel 25:22 “So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that PISSETH AGAINST THE WALL.” (Green – “urinates against the wall.”)
But Young has: “thus doth God do to the enemies of David, and thus He doth add, if I leave of all that he hath till the light of the morning — of THOSE SITTING ON THE WALL.”
