Rooted in the Revelation of Christ [video]

Jesus is King, Mat 2:2. Prophet, Isa 61:1. Priest, Psa 110:4.

His central purpose for His highest creation (mankind) is that we “might know thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3) John wrote that “truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:3) A divinely rich and ever-increasing revealing of the LORD Jesus in the hearts of His people is clearly our LORD’s stated desire and eternal purpose.

EVER NOTICE that Jesus is usually not the Featured Subject of many or most  messages in the church world? This simple reveals that the goal and the hearts of those giving the messages do not have Christ first and so they want to communicate things that please their audiences. This is why they have no authority, just like the false leaders of Christ’s day on earth (Matthew 7:29).  Remember, even the new agers teach to think positive, transform the mind, speak the right things, and guard your heart, etc. We are Christ’s body and He’s the God of the Universe, the very Creator, unique virgin-born Son of God who is the only nail-scarred risen Savior. He is unique in all of history and the Grand Subject of all of Holy Scripture. If we have purposely missed Him, we have missed all and are lost and leading other to eternal damnation.

If you will be planted deep into Christ, your Christology, your study of, your personal knowledge of Christ must be deep, not shallow (Colossians 2:6-10).

Are You Becoming Increasingly Grounded in Christ?

If not, you will be uprooted, toppled (Matthew 7:21-29). Feeding your mind on social media junk food is sure to end in disaster. If are reading these very words, the Holy Spirit is calling you to stop your life, to settle down, and seek the face of the LORD – before it’s too late. Memorize 1 Chronicles 16:11 now: “SEEK the LORD and his strength, SEEK his face continually.”

“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7

Keep in mind the warnings of Holy Scripture. The “many” ear-tickling wolves in our midst seek to entice you, to catch your attention and keep you patronizing their “ministry.” They are operating out of a personal agenda and not interested in seeing you becoming more and more deeply grounded in Christ – “a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalms 1:1-3)
