Divine Instructions for Roles and Interacting with members of Christ’s body.

“But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15

“For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting (lacking), and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:” Titus 1:5

Jesus cleansed the temple (picture of His house) with the goal of establishing His order out of man’s greedy religious chaos (Matthew 21; John 2).

1 John 2 – John addresses “little children,” “young men,” “fathers.” The younger are to submit to the elder (1 Timothy 5:1; 1 Peter 5:1-6).

In the household, and in the church, there is a divinely ordained order set forth in Scripture.

Are you trying to become a better husband or wife, a kinder friend, a more loving person? Do you desire that God use you more powerfully? These are good desires and yet, we must remember that the first order of priority in our LORD’s kingdom is laying down our own lives – the crucified life (Luke 9:23-24, etc.). Being a better disciple of Jesus, our “first love” will bring about a life that exacts Christ and others above ourselves (Philippians 2:3-5). THEN everything else will come into God’s order, by His enabling grace (Revelation 2:4-5; Matthew 6:33, etc.).

The depth of your dying determines the height of your resurrection. Jesus saved you to serve HIM and others, not yourself (Ephesians 5:25-27). The Christian Life will not and does not work outside of the Cross principle Christ gave us as the prescription for following Him – the “daily” death, burial, and raising up (Luke 9:23-24; 2 Corinthians 4:10-12).

SATAN is the god of this world and his job is to pervert everything of the creation of God. It’s a test to see who will serve God and who will not. There is no neutral ground. Jesus says “He that is not with me ISSSSS against me.” (Matthew 12:30) Notice all around us where women are made to look and encouraged to appear masculine, tough, brash, etc. They’re always depicted fighting, beating up men. Not only is this laughable, it’s pure rebellion against our Maker. Yuck. And, men are led to be feminine. Super yuck on steroids.

IF you are a man, do you know what God expects of you – YOUR GOD-GIVEN ROLE? Let’s begin with Ephesians 5:25-27. We shall each give account … You a woman? What did God say of women? Read Titus 2:1-5. Oh and Proverbs 31. Wife, mother, keeper at home, entrepreneur, etc. Now read 1 Timothy 2:9-15……

A career will never replace the blessings that come from fulfilling God’s will and order for you as a man or a woman, a father, a mother.

Women who position themselves outside of the God-ordained role of the woman, who try to act as the head, the husband, are tearing down their houses, their families.

“For Adam was first formed, then Eve.” 1 Timothy 2:13

“For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.” 1 Corinthians 11:8-9

God made the woman for the man and not vice versa. A woman will never be happy unless she’s fulfilling the divinely ordained role for her life. Now we see today that there’s the reversal where women expect… and millions of very unhappy, and especially completely miserable women who are outside of God’s creative order for the woman. Yet, in some cultures in the world, we see very happy woman. 100% of the time, they are in their God-given role such as being a wife and mother, properly submitted to their husbands.

“Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.” Proverbs 14:1

The devil is very busy perverting, inverting the roles – that’s his job (Isaiah 5:20). This has destroyed relationships in this country.

WHEN and if a woman is truly serving God, and is married, her husband is her head, her headship and she never violates that marriage and its divine order. She will never disdain, disrespect, manipulate, or seek to control her husband (Proverbs 14:1). The order of the household is divine and is non-negotiable. “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.” (Ephesians 5:22-23) Then, in the following verses, it says that the man is to give his life for his wife as Christ did for His church…. and that doesn’t mean the wife is to play that situation for her own self-serving agenda. Only a jezebel would do such and there won’t be even 1 jezebel in Heaven (2 Kings 9:33; Revelation 2:20-24). It’s past time we denounce all the old wives fables that we’ve in the past laughed at and yet they were insidious, wicked. You know like “he might be the head but I’m the neck and I turn the neck where I wish.” Pure witchcraft.

JEZEBEL KNOWS NO BOUNDS: The jezebel, feminist movement attacks men, males who earn more than female as if they did something wrong!!! This is a direct attack on God, men, women, and children – the family unit. This is Satan’s work saints. Jesus told us he’s come “to steal, to kill, and to destroy.” (John 10:10) Be not deceived. God ordained that the man, the husband, the father, earn the money to take care of his WIFE and children (1 Timothy 5:8). Beware and be thankful to the LORD for the godly men, breadwinners who provide for their wives and families.

The LORD created the family and the role of each member. Those who attack the family unit, attack God and are under divine judgment!

YES God’s people are to “study” His Word and how else to do such than to begin by “READING” His words? 2 Timothy 2:15

“Till I come, give attendance to READING, to exhortation, to doctrine.” 1 Timothy 4:13

Years ago I found that if I don’t get up early to read God’s Word and spend quality moments in prayer first and foremost, it will never happen. God must be put first and this requires ruthless discipline.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Reading all of God’s Word is the priority of ever astute follower of Jesus.

There’s no way to learn God’s Word other than reading it yourself (2 Timothy 2:15) God gave you His Word in tangible format in order for you to learn of Him from Him and by Him. Those who leave it to others to teach them God’s Word are self-deceived and will be misled by those they depend on to teach them the Bible.

“I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12

O the beauty of doing things God’s way. When things are done our LORD’s way, His blessings ensue! Blessings will chase you down! Are you putting GOD first in your life, truly, literally?
