This is a Paramount Biblical Truth – Please Grab it, No Matter Where You are Today! Know This: Jesus loves You and Died to Save You – He Gave His Very Life on that Cross to Make You His Own.

THE whole of Scripture testifies to the reality that the LORD delights to restore when we simply come to Him humbly, on His terms.

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4

“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” Ezekiel 33:11

Choosing to Hear the Word of Your Maker

ANY person whom Jesus saved in the past who is not DAILY in God’s Word, is backslidden and not ready to meet Christ. Proof One is Backslidden

“He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” John 8:47

Jesus makes it clear to us that if we hear and hearken to His words, we are truly in and of Him. If not, we’re not truly in Him.

He loves you. Jesus beckons you:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

It may refresh you to know that the Son of God did not come to the earth to start a religion or make you religious. He is the diametrical, sworn enemy of religion and how it misrepresents Him (Matthew 23). No, instead, Jesus came to freely forgive and give you a new life – a personal relationship with Him.

IF you avoid, push away from, and shun the light of truth, it’s because your heart is not turned over to Christ – no matter what mere “form of godliness” you have in your life (2 Cor 3:14-16; 2 Timothy 3:5). When you truly turn your heart over to Jesus, the darkness will be vanquished by He who the “light of the world.” (John 8:12)

“But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it (the heart) shall turn to the Lord, the vail (darkness, deception) shall be taken away.” 2 Corinthians 3:14-16

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3:19-21

It’s only by Christ’s light – when we turn our hearts to Him truly, transparently – that all darkness is eradicated.

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12

“Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.” John 12:35

“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:” Ephesians 5:8

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:” 1 John 1:6

Those who are not walking in truth – holding themselves accountable to it, are shunning the light of Christ to their own demise and ultimate damnation.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables (stories, story tellers).” 2 Timothy 4:2-4

Without exception, when a man authentically loves the LORD, he loves truth and allows that divine truth to change His heart and life.

“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

Sister Karen Cochran notes:

“Just this morning I read Psalm 24. This Psalm asks v3 “who shall stand in His holy place”?
The answer is in v4 “He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart”.

v5 And what will they receive? The blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation”

We are to be holy, sanctified, blameless, cleansed in His blood from sin, and being made more and more into His image everyday.

So we are without spot or wrinkle before the Lord. For no man shall see the Lord without holiness. Hebrews 12:14.

Acts 20: 32. God only gives an inheritance to those who are sacrificed!”

Amazing passage. Thank you. God shows us clearly here and all over His Word that only those who engage in an abiding relationship with Him on His stated terms – the Word – will be with Him.

PRAYER: Holy Father in Heaven, in the name of the very Light of the world Himself – the LORD Jesus Christ, I come to You humbly. Today is my day to be changed from the inside out by You. I hear Your call. I told You more than once that I wanted Your will alone in my life. You heard that and are hastening me to Thyself – to Your love, truth, and safety – my only hiding place, here and forever. Right this very moment, if never before, I lay my life into Your holy hands, receiving Your mercy, grace, forgiveness, and the infusement of Your love. In this very instant, I worship You alone LORD Jesus, my LORD, my only Savior, and my God. Please fill this vessel afresh for Your eternal glory, for truly I am crucified with You Jesus and raised up by You alone and for Your glory alone, from this moment forward. I’m all Yours LORD Jesus and You’re all mine. I love You Jesus and thank You for finding and saving my sinful, wretched soul into Your kingdom family. In Jesus’ name, amen!

Swept Away in the “Strong Delusion” [podcast]

God Himself personally sends a “strong delusion” to all who do not love His truth so that they WILL believe lies. He greases their pole to hell. That’s how personally He takes it when people call Him a liar by not believing His Word.

Dead, Buried, and Raised Up Daily [podcast]

The concept of a “daily cross life” with Jesus is the way of living that involves submitting ourselves to Christ daily, perpetually, and living in sacrificial service to God and His kingdom (Matthew 6:33). This is based on the Bible verse Luke 9:23, which says, “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it” (Luke 9:23-24).

In short, the cross gets you, me, out of the way so Christ can reign. Selah.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57

How do we walk in victory after Jesus saves us? By participating in the daily cross life.

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” Luke 9:23-24

HOW could we possibly, vainly believe we are going to overcome the sins that prevent us from eternal glory without the daily crucified life? Not going to happen.

The cross is essential—the crucified life. Read Romans 6 in prayer each morning.

Death and burial must precede resurrection. There will be no resurrection in your personal life—no divine raising you up out of sin and into victory—until you lay down your life, until you die.

The Bible says we have been FOOLS:

“Thou fool, that which thou sowest (plant) is not quickened (made alive), except it die:” 1 Corinthians 15:36

How could we have ever believed that God is going to raise us upward into His victory, out of sin, until we died? I can tell you why—it’s because we weren’t honestly studying and obeying His Word for ourself but rather following false teachers (Philippians 3:18-19).

“Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 2 Corinthians 4:10-11

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” Romans 8:11-13

The original Gospel is a cross Gospel. Any gospel that does not have the cross front and center, is “another gospel,” a false gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). Reading Romans 6 prayerfully each morning is a blessing.

YOUR PRAYER: Holy Father, I love You and thank You for sending Your only begotten Son to die for my sins and the sins of the whole world. We are not worthy but You bought us with the very life blood of Christ, back to Yourself from a life of sin, to be Your sons and daughters. Please forgive all my sins afresh LORD. Into Your holy, mighty hands I now submit my spirit. Bless this life to be crucified with You dear LORD. In Jesus’ name, amen.
