Pastor Who?

Have you noticed the ever-increasing number of ladies who call themselves by lofty titles reserved in the divine economy for men only? Have you been hearing things like “Pastor Mary,” “apostle Jane,” or “Prophetess Marquita,” etc. ….. Is this biblical?

“But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” 1 Timothy 2:12

WOULD GOD LEAD A WOMAN TO CORRECT A MAN? There should be no question after reading this Bible verse. Women are not to teach NOR usurp authority over the man. There’s a stated order in God’s creation and in the Word for the family and the gatherings of the saints/church. The woman who argues doctrine with a man or seeks to rebuke/correct him is out of God’s order. Only a Jezebel would dare so such while claiming to serve Jesus. There’s only 1 example of a woman ruling over men in the New Testament and it’s JEZEBEL! (Revelation 2:20-24; 1 Timothy 2:11-12)

Excuse me Mam, you cannot possibly be a pastor, apostle, prophet, evangelist, or teacher of men in the sense of the office given only to those who are “the HUSBAND of one wife” which is an utter impossibility for a female (1 Timothy 3:2). Since when can a female be a “husband”? If she can’t be a “husband,” she is not qualified to be an elder in Christ’s body.

Resistance:

“Brother you sound too rigid!”

Reply:

By God’s grace, may He continue to make me rigidly aligned with and obediently faithful to Him alone. Like the Bereans, every true disciple is astute and diligently seeks to walk in the ways of the LORD as given us clearly in His Word. The wicked seek to pervert the truth of Holy Scripture as they are defiant against the LORD they claim to serve.

No angle of reasoning will justify this evil rebellion. This is a divinely-ordained role for men alone to fulfill and a non-negotiable, never-going-to-change truth. Anyone violating it will be judged (Revelation 2:20-23). Of Jezebel and all who allow, enable, and participate is such perversion, Jesus says He is going to “kill her children with death.” (Revelation 2:20-23) Anybody want to argue with the Son of God?

Even Jesus Christ, the very Alpha, Omega, and Almighty God “made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant.” (Philippians 2:7)

The callings listed in Scripture are places of humble serving as unto CHRIST and never to be used to elevate sinful self.

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: THATTTT God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11

First and foremost, the kingdom of God is all about KING Jesus, not us!

Sir, if you are calling your wife a “pastor” a “co-pastor” or by whatever title, it’s time to repent. Women are the beloved creation of God and to be the “helpmeet” of their husband or daddy and the men around them – helping them fulfill the call of God on their lives. No woman is to ever “to usurp authority over the man.”

“But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” 1 Timothy 2:12-14

It’s time to repent and get aligned with the Word of God and cease perverting it for our own self-serving purpose!

Listen, two wrongs do not make a right! Increasingly we hear the voices of Jezebels and the Ahabs they have under their death grip crying “If men would just fulfill their calling, women wouldn’t have to step up and lead!” I say NONSENSE to this diabolical smokescreen! There is no case in the New Testament Scriptures where any woman is seen saying or doing such usurping.

Ladies, if you have been abused, join the club! If you have been abused by a man or men, go to the LORD Himself and repent of your own part if any in the matter and all your own sins and let Him heal you. In many cases the wounds you still have could be due to your spinning your wheels by condemning men when you should be repenting and seeking the LORD for His healing. His arm is not shorted but your sin of not seeking His face will stop you from receiving healing from His holy hand (Isaiah 59:1-3).

Anyone violating God’s order will be judged and this is precisely why He judged Thyatira (Revelation 2:20-23). Of Jezebel and all who allow, enable, and participate in such perversion of the roles of men and women, Jesus says He is going to “kill her children with death.” (Revelation 2:20-23) Anybody want to argue with the Son of God?

God’s Word tells us that men and women are “heirs together of the grace of life.” (1 Peter 3:7) This demonstrates equality in salvation and yet, God created men and women for distinct and unique purposes. The wife or woman is the “weaker vessel” and to be cherished and honored by her husband as well as she is to submit herself to her husband (1 Peter 3:7; Ephesians 5:21-27).

Speaking up about what the Bible says concerning the order of God’s church is not suppression toward women but rather simply observing the divine revelation given to us. We must follow His directions with respect to fearing and pleasing Him and not men or women. Order among the assemblies of believers where women are not to be in leadership does not negate the biblical truth and historical record of women serving in many capacities.

Concerning the instructions Paul gives concerning women in 1 Timothy 2, William MacDonald writes:

“As far as her part in public meetings of the church, a woman is to learn in silence with all submission. This is consistent with the rest of Scripture on this subject (1 Cor. 11:3-15; 14:34, 35).

When Paul says: I do not permit a woman to teach, he is speaking as inspired of God. This does not represent Paul’s own personal prejudice, as some say. It is God who decrees that women should not have a public teaching ministry in the church. The only exceptions to this are that they are permitted to teach children (2 Tim. 3:15) and young women (Tit. 2:4). Neither is a woman to have authority over a man. That means that she must not have dominion over a man, but is to be in silence or quietness. Perhaps we should add that the latter part of this verse is by no means limited to the local assembly. It is a fundamental principle in God’s dealings with mankind that man has been given the headship and that woman is in the place of subjection. This does not mean that she is inferior; that is certainly not true. But it does mean that it is contrary to God’s will that the woman should have authority or dominion over the man.

To prove his point, Paul first of all goes to the creation of Adam and Eve. Adam was formed first, then Eve. The very order of the creation was significant. By creating man first, God intended him to be the head, the one who would exercise direction, the one who would have authority. The fact that woman was created second means that she should be in submission to her husband. By passing his argument on the order of creation, Paul rules out any thought that this is a matter of local culture.

The second proof refers to the entrance of sin into the human race. Instead of approaching Adam directly, the serpent went to Eve with his temptations and lies. According to God’s intention, Eve should not have acted independently. She should have gone to Adam and put the matter before him. Instead of that, she allowed herself to be deceived by Satan and fell into transgression.” William MacDonald, Believer’s Bible Commentary, p. 2084

HAPPENING NOW:

Just handed a tract to a man named Ruben. He said “Thank you. I’ve been searching and was thinking of visiting the JW (Jehovah Witness) church near me. Thank you.” Then a conversation ensued. He was informed that that JW and Mormons are cults. Ruben was given the law to convict, and saving Gospel, and exhorted to pray in repentance today and receive Jesus for the remission of his sins. He was told by way of testimony and the Word that Jesus is exactly Who he was looking for.

We exchanged numbers and will be meeting again soon. Please pray for this man. He’s in ripe mode if you will….. ready to repent and receive Jesus, Heaven’s Treasure, Salvation! Would you like to pause and lift Ruben in prayer?

*** Saints, as your brother in Christ, let me encourage you to dare pray something like this today if you are inclined: “Dear LORD, I am all Yours. You created me. You came and died for me. I am Yours. Please put me on Your planet, just exactly where You want me, and use me dear LORD! In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Saints the JW and Mormon cults are here in Mexico. There are few if any Christian missionaries. “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.”

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:35-38

I don’t believe any American would regret moving to this great country. The peace and tranquility are off the charts. If you need someone to talk to, let me know.

One thing is certain, you will be immediately spoiled by the preciousness of the Mexican people and their acceptance of the message of Christ! You will minister to no one who won’t say “gracias.”

“Amazing you would post this! It does seem the Lord is going to move us. We have begun to clean out and get rid of stuff. Years ago Tom built a patio and recently tore it down. We own the trailer we live in but not the property. It seems he has begun to clean outside and me inside. Without really knowing why. Yesterday we looked at each other and said, we are doing all this because God is moving us! As of this moment that is all we know. I still have my mom and Dad to help so it’s all His timing. Francisco repented and received Jesus! As our LORD would have it, our paths crossed by divine ordination. Francisco was preached to and gladly received a Jesus tract. Upon showing him the prayer of repentance and faith on the back, he immediately raised his hands to pray. It caught me off guard, in a good way, and so he was instructed to pray in repentance and faith… as he was led, and he did, out loud, acknowledging that he has sinned against God and then calling on our LORD Jesus to forgive, save, wash away his sin.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. … 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13

Beloved Francisco was showed and encouraged to download the Reina Valera Spanish Bible onto his devices and wake up to seeking God in His Word and prayer first thing each morning (Matthew 6:33). He was given the idea also of reading the Proverb of the day each morning.

This continues to happen here with these precious people. They are so hungry for Christ and only need someone to show, to lead them to Him. Several times when instructed to go home and pray in repentance and faith, they overtly lift their hands and hearts and begin praying right on the spot – which demonstrates that they’d been waiting eagerly to hear the message of Christ’s Gospel!

“HOW shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14

Ensuing his repentance toward God and faith toward our LORD Jesus (Acts 20:21), the discipleship began. We’ve already been communicating and he’s got the Born Again book in Spanish with three more of the ministry books which will be sent to him this week.

Mission Mexico

The life being lived with any other purpose except to please God and serve others, is a wasted, hell bound life.
