BEWARE of the Witches and Warlocks in the Church [podcast]

Whether deliberately or not, many today dish out God’s promises to disobedient rebels. Those promises are from God. And in His Word the LORD has stated conditions that must be met to receive those promises (Example: Jeremiah 29:11-15). He didn’t give those promises so any mere man could run around using them for their own self-serving purposes to get people to like and follow. Such is a tactic of manipulation all to often seen in today’s apostate church world.

There’s so much flattery floating around today, posing as being Christian, as being biblical, and yet, there’s no cross, holiness, judgment, or repentance in it. Counterfeit. False gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). Run.

It’s time to stop prophe-lying. It’s time to stop lying to people by giving them promises God is not going to fulfill for them and will not give them unless they do things His way which is to truly repent, to deny self, take up the cross and followed Jesus. God’s blessings of condition. He doesn’t indiscriminately dish out His blessings. “…he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

SATAN WANTS YOUR SOUL

“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:13

Satan has Ministers, Human Agents Carrying Out His Plans to Deceive and Damn Your Eternal Soul. They are lying to you and you will never know it till it’s too late if you don’t authentically repent and seek God daily in His Word (2 Timothy 2:15).

“But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:12-15

God’s Word informs us that Satan and his ministers have “devices” they use to seduce, to allure, to capture their intended prey – in order to steal, kill, and destroy you (John 10:10).

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11

These so-called “prophetic prayer warriors”, otherwise known as “intercessors” are self-appointed. We know that they are because there’s no such calling in the Word. They use devices such as always have a vision or dream or word for you – as if they hear from God and you don’t, you can’t because you are not on their level. So they deceitfully suppose.

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and NOT out of the mouth of the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:16

Today we see SO much pride-filled witchcraft going on in the name of “prayer warriors” and special “intercessors”. Personally I am learning to stay clear of the “prayer warrior” terminology and those who claim they are such, etc. Seems to lift up us, the mere pray-ers, and not Him and leads to pride in people as they boast of themselves, that they get prayers answered or that their prayers and calling is more important than others. Nonsense! Prayers are answered on one basis – the blood, the cross, the name of Jesus Christ. Any and every child of God can pray in the name of Jesus and God will answer it based on the righteousness of His only begotten Son, not some “powerful prayer warrior” or self-appointed  “intercessor” witch (John 14:13-14; 16:23-24) | Why Does God Answer Prayer? On What Basis?

What is “witchcraft”? Does that mean someone puts on a pointy black hat, dresses like a witch, and does incantations and sends curses on others? It can but that’s not very common. “Witchcraft” or the craft of witches, witch-craft is a soul damning sin found in the list Galatians 5:19-21. “Witchcraft” is exercising unwarranted CONTROL via manipulation, dreams, false prophecies, false teachings, end times Bible charts, etc., is witchcraft. Study that definition and look at it in light of the whole Word. “Witchcraft” displaces us from Christ, from trusting and from obeying Him (Galatians 3:3). Wielding “witchcraft” over God’s people is the evil action of the witches and warlocks in our midst. Why? – To put people in the flesh, to cause them to stop trusting God by faith, to entice them to sin by relying on someone other than Christ, something other than His written Word. No matter what form it comes in, that’s exactly what it’s designed to do and this is what derails believers, causing them to “fall away”, to “depart from the faith.” (Luke 8:13; 1 Timothy 4:1-2, etc.) This is what all heresy, every lie, every false system of theology is designed by the enemy of souls to do.

Remember Balaam and Balak and how they caused the children of Israel to sin against God and thereby lose His favor and protection? (Numbers 25)

FB Meyer on Numbers 25:1-18

“THE ZEAL OF PHINEHAS AGAINST IMPURITY/FORNICATION
Unable to curse Israel directly, Balaam suggested to Balak the device of destroying the union between Israel and their divine Protector by enticing them into sin. Once bring license and passion into play, and let the seductions of evil prevail, and surely the holiness of God would compel Him to withdraw His protection! This was a diabolical suggestion to gain his wage. See Rev 2:14. The women of the land, notorious for their wantonness, seduced the men of Israel to join in the sensual rites of their worship. All did not fall into this sin. See Deu_4:3-4. But it brought terrible chastisement on the offenders, 1Co_10:8. You must amputate a gangrened limb.

For Phinehas, see Mal_2:4, etc. Let us come out of the world, cleansing ourselves from its filthiness! 2Co_6:14, etc. There are crises when love for God’s honor demands strenuous action, which never fails, as in the case of Phinehas, of an abounding recognition, Num_25:12.”

Numbers 31:16  Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Revelation 2:14  But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Malachi 2:4  And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

1 Corinthians 10:8  Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Beware of the Intercessory Prayer Groups

Beware that in any “prayer group” all it takes is for just one of those members to introduce a sugar-coated stealth request or attitude and the whole group is influenced. The course and direction of that group will be off target from that time forward. This is why many a disciple has and is learning to keep things down to a simple minimum void of the “need” or false obligation to join in with any and every “prayer group” that comes along.

The key is joining with one or two or so believers who are truly Christ-centered, biblical, crucified with Christ, teachable, humble, broken, and sincerely seeking the face of the LORD.

John 10

Jesus is the Good Shepherd

1  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2  But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3  To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4  And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5  And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6  This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7  Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8  All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9  I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
