There should be NO fear of mere sinful men among the righteous!!!! “The righteous are bold as a lion!” (Proverbs 28:1) The righteous of the LORD fear God and therefore fear NO mere man or men!!!!!
“And walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.” Acts 9:31
Like we see here with the earliest followers of Jesus, when we truly walk “in the fear of the LORD,” we shall also walk “in the comfort of the Holy Ghost.”
Those who fear the LORD, obey the LORD and they enjoy His comfort. All who do not truly fear the LORD, are not filled with His holy fear, live in fear, they forfeit His peace, His comfort.
Oh, did you catch the end of Acts 9:31 above? The body of Christ was enduring rampant and severe persecutions at this time. They feared and were comforted in their hearts by our LORD. God then gave them “rest round about” from their enemies (Joshua 21:44; 2 Samuel 7:1; 2 Chronicles 15:15; 20:30). When God’s people walk in His fear, when they truly fear Him, they live in His comfort, no matter what is transpiring, and they are “multiplied.” That’s biblical “church growth” which the LORD alone can do, in adding to His church (Acts 2:47). Mere men don’t build Jesus’ church. Only Jesus can do that and He said, He promised “I will build my church.” (Matthew 16:18) Only Jesus died for and only Jesus can add to His church. And He does such in ways unknown to most who claim to follow Jesus today. In Acts, when we read that “the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved” it’s never associated with the modern church scam tactics we see today with wolves who entice people to come have their ears tickled at their Sunday morning church club.
Jesus Commands that those who are His Fear Him and the Father
“Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.” Isaiah 8:13
As seen above with the earliest followers of Jesus, so shall it be with the final day saints alive on the earth now.
“Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:26-28
Want to walk with a deep and commanding confidence? Memorize and walk in this one:
“In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.” Proverbs 14:26
WHERE do we find not just “confidence” but rather “STRONG confidence”?
Anyone who desires absolute boldness in Christ, a deep “confidence” emanating out of a heart that is truly abiding in Christ, pray for it now (Proverbs 14:26). Just ask God as you submit your life to the nail scarred risen Savior afresh! “ASK, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:24) Ask Him to unite your heart to fear His name (Psalms 86:11).
Examples of Divine Judgment which are Designed to Instill the Healthy Fear of God in Us!
Studying the judgments of God – past, present, and future – will quickly instill in us a holy fear of the LORD which is clean!!!!
“Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.” 1 Corinthians 10:6
Read that verse of holy truth above once again beloved of God. WHY are these judgment written? What’s the divine “intent” or purpose?
In the New Testament canon, our LORD lists some of the judgments He allowed to fall upon His own people for their rebellion (1 Corinthians 10:1-12; Jude 1, Romans 11:19-22, etc.).
Choosing the Fear of the LORD
“God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.” Psalms 55:19
Those who refuse to “choose the fear of the LORD” have no changes in their lives.
“For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:” Proverbs 1:29
True men of God are known in that they preach in the fear of the LORD to please the LORD, not men (Galatians 1:10). The true remnant people of God fear, obey, and say what GOD says. They cater to the LORD, not sinful men (Galatians 1:10). Those who are run off by the pure truth of God’s Word were unrepentant counterfeits.
When a man fears the LORD, he will fear no man. Memorize Galatians 1:10.
It is GOD Himself who puts His fear in our hearts. Read these verses below closely and pray that the LORD will instill His fear deep in your being.
Jeremiah 32:39-40
And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I WILL PUT MY FEAR IN THEIR HEARTS, that they shall not depart from me.
The only way to have a clean heart is to fear God, which Jesus commands all to do.
“The fear of the LORD is clean…” Psalms 19:9
“And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.” Luke 12:4-5
WE must preach law, judgment, the cross, sin, and hell and STOP apologizing for it. Repent and God will grant you a spine and cause you to cease being a self-serving moral coward.
GOD sure is love, kind, merciful, powerful, awesome…. and “Holy, holy, holy” and will irrevocably damn the soul of EVERY person who dies in sin (Ezekiel 33:12-13; Romans 6:23, etc.). Soul Damning Sins [book]
MANY fear mere sinful men and have men above God. Repent. God is calling you to truly repent and when you do, you will cease attempting to justify and bid Godspeed to the enemies of Christ and say with Paul: “Let GOD be true and EVERY man a liar.” (Romans 3:4; 2 John 10-11)
“having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.” Jude 16
“For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.” John 12:43
“for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10
Those who do not truly fear the LORD and therefore fear men are in need of true repentance.
May God instill in the depth of our being His holy fear – that we might love and know and seek our LORD all the days of our lives.
Read Psalm 1 and 92.
Crisis Management Mode vs Perpetually Dwelling in His Word
Perpetual Blessings require perpetual fellowship…..
“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.” 1 Chronicles 16:11
Continually seeking the LORD guarantees that you remain full of His strength, His joy, His divine peace.
Running to the LORD continually is essential. Instead of praying and the reading of God’s Word being simply a crisis management reaction, why not make it our meat, our lifestyle – that which we do daily, diligently, and fervently?
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10
If you are going to established in divine peace, if you are going to be “safe”, you must run to and remain grounded at the feet of Christ!
Get filled, stay full, keep your lamp overflowing (Matthew 25:1-13).
ALL who truly fear God are instilling the fear of the LORD in others. The reason that lame hireling you sit under isn’t invoking the fear of God in you is because he has no fear of God himself but is rather building his own castle in the sand at your expense.
Unity among true disciples of Jesus is on the basis of His Word of truth, never at the expense of it (Psalms 11:3; Matthew 7:24-29).
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matthew 10:34

Apostasy
The Result of Real Repentance [podcast]
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” Titus 1:16
WE DON’T NEED JUST ANOTHER “CHURCH SERVICE” OR “SERMON,” WE NEED TO REPENT AND WHEN WE REALLY DO, WE WILL OBEY GOD—OTHERWISE WE DIDN’T TRULY REPENT.
“In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” Matthew 3:1-12
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” 2 Corinthians 13:5
When we repent – re-turn to God: Do we want to see who has truly repented, beginning with the examining of ourselves?
- We will be washed afresh from our sins and have “times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)
- We will forsake our lives in this fleeting world, deny self, take up the cross daily and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23-24; 14:33; 17:33).
- We will live holy “in this present world.” (Titus 2:11-14; 1 Peter 1:15-16)
- We will be about our “Father’s business” and not our own – the Great Commission He gave us (Luke 2:49; Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20).
Forsaking All?
What does that mean?
“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33
One must be willing and obedient to put aside religion and familial bonds to follow Christ, or he will not and “cannot be my disciple” says the LORD. Non-negotiable. If Jesus Christ is not first place, first priority of your life, you are a hell bound counterfeit who shall suffer the flames of eternal justice, damnation (Mark 9:43-49).
Jesus says:
“He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:37
Repent. Turn wholly to the LORD, putting all of your trust in the LORD your God, who “is a jealous God.” Jesus Christ is the name of the only LORD and Savior!
“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:” Exodus 34:14
Jesus says He will “spue,” vomit, reject anyone who dies without Him being their very “first love” their “first” priority—and talk is cheap (Revelation 2:4-5; 3:15-16).

It’s actually strength in God to keep quiet and not have to retaliate when attacked or persecuted. But taking a step back, and asking God to bless them while lifting them up in prayer to the Lord. This is the bowels of mercy extended to those who attack us and to know as Paul did, I am the least of all the saints. And let God repay. Romans 12:19.” Karen Cochran

Man Shall not Live by Bread Alone [podcast]
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” 1 Peter 2:2
Spiritual growth occurs when we ingest the words of God, embrace, incorporate, and walk them out.
“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12
“The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.”Psalms 33:11
The graphic message below is from a dear sister in Christ named Cassandra, on SubStack:

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” James 1:22-25
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16
YOUR PRAYER: Holy Father, thank You for finding and forgiving me and saving me into Your eternal family. Help me realize the utter importance of feeding on Your Word daily. I love You dear LORD Jesus. Help me to love You more LORD. Help me to feed, to nourish the members of Your body with Your Word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
