TODAY’s apostate preachers created a counterfeit generation of false converts, entitled, self-serving counterfeits. There is no fruit proving they are truly born again. Their “christianity” consists of “church” attendance at a cross-less fake church that uses a fake “bible”, preaches a fake “Jesus”, and has a fake “pastor.” Beware. This was specifically foretold (2 Timothy 3:1-13; 4:1-5).

The true disciple of Jesus will listen only to men who fear God and not you/them (2 Samuel 23:3; Matthew 10:28; Galatians 1:10) – and therefore they forcefully declare the whole of His truth straight up into your face! Repent or perish, sinner!

“Love this podcast! Thank you. We go to the home (retirement) to minister every week except one. Another church does it. We got mixed up on our weeks and the other people showed up. So we stayed and it was unbelievable what we witnessed! No Bible! They had a folder! Everything was in this folder. All prayers, the message, all of it! They couldn’t find the folder and were panicked. Of course because they had nothing without it! All was completely scripted! They did not even talk to the residents! No love of Jesus! They were like robots! No Holy Spirit and no Jesus! All mechanical!! Dead religion. After they left the residents didn’t move. Because they were waiting to be fed. So we stayed and gave them some good nourishment from the Lord! Shocking!” Karen Cochran

Wise and true disciples of Jesus are not leaving the fake churches because they are departing from the faith but rather because they are preserving their faith, their eternal souls and departing from the fake “bibles,” the fake “pastors,” the fake “Jesus,” and the fake “gospel” (Galatians 1:6-9; 1 Timothy 4:1-2).

Modern “church” gatherings do not resemble what we see in Scripture and anyone who thinks so, is biblically illiterate…. needs to get into the Word for themselves. Speaking of which, 99% of modern churches use fake “bibles”…. laughable. They have fake pastors, fake “bibles,” a fake “Jesus,” and fake churches.

“Folks, I’m not trying to make enemies, but I will speak truth: every Sunday I see comments and posts and memes on here; some of you blasting people who don’t attend a church building. Newsflash: I am a member of the church, Christ’s body, no matter where I am. The biblical command for assembly is where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name. Frankly, that is all that’s required for biblical assembly. Do you want to go to church? That’s fine; but nowhere in the Bible are we commanded or expected to gather in a building with unconverted people and call it ‘church.’ I love you all, but some of you need to come out of those buildings and get back in the word of God! In love and truth; as a brother should.” Michael Neff

Doctrines Missing from the Modern Church

If they use a fake “bible” this proves they are a fake fellowship.
Tell us all why you justify the removal of the BLOOD of Jesus in Colossians 1:14 in your fake “bible”? Please explain why you believe it’s ok that Romans 8:1 is chopped in half in the “bible” you read? How about answering why it’s ok in your mind that the words of Jesus in Matthew 17:21 were chopped out, completely removed. What does Revelation 22:18-19 severely warn us about?

How to Spot a Fake “bible”

ANYONE can rent or build a building and put chairs and a pulpit in it. THAT doesn’t make him a true elder in Christ’s kingdom.

There are 2 key truths concerning authentic elders, of which there are very few today amidst the many who claim to be.

1. They speak the pure Word of God (Hebrews 13:7).

2. They watch for the souls of the saints (Hebrews 13:17).

The visible church is not a physical building nor necessarily those who enter one, once a week. “YE are God’s building” (1 Corinthians 3:9).

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:5

The Greek word for “church” is ekklesia which means the people, the called out ones.

If those church building gatherings were operating by the Word of God, why is 95% of the professing church in the horrible place of apostasy we see? WHAT is the fruit of the modern church building gatherings other than no repentance, no holiness, no blood, no cross, no crucified life, no evangelism, etc?

The Professing Modern Church Exposed

The visible “church” doesn’t represent the real church, the people. Building Christ’s kingdom in the hearts of men. This is exactly what Jesus meant when He declared “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18). He certainly didn’t mean corral people to entertain them with fake “bibles”, fake “pastors” who preach another, a fake “Jesus.”

“Upon this rock (the revelation that Jesus is the Messiah) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18

The modern “church” world is overflowing with greed-driven covetous men who are building their own church busine$$ and have no intention to repent (2 Peter 2:1-3). In their lame seminary they learned and are using a cookie cutter business model as they run a scam on the self-serving gullible pawns who support them. Those who have truly repented are about the “Father’s business” as was Christ and not about building their own church business. God warned us and He also declared that anyone who helps these wolves build anything but HIS kingdom will perish, will go to hell with them.

See 2 Peter 2:1-3 and 2 John 10-11.

You feel all good about yourself because you attend a “church” meeting weekly and yet there is no cross in your life or daily seeking the face of the LORD in His Word, prayer, or evangelizing the lost. Counterfeit.

How many church going “Christians” do you know who are living the crucified life Jesus says is essential for knowing and following Him? See Luke 9:23-24; 14:27. Let me guess, that like me you know zero “church” building attending mere professors who are living the crucified life, ministering to others daily, living a life of prayer, etc., right?

“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:” Revelation 2:26

Dead. Buried. Raised Up Daily!

So you are all hyped about your “church” and yet not in the Word daily, living a life of prayer, and evangelizing the lost? We just defined an unrepentant, fruit-less counterfeit.

“These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots.” Jude 12

WHAT will you say to the nail scarred risen LORD on Judgment Day when you made it about something else other than Him?

The cross. Studying God’s Word for yourself. Living a life of prayer. Obeying Christ’s Great Commission command, etc. – Your fake “pastor” hasn’t mentioned or made these biblical things known to you because he’s too busy using you to build his own enterprise. And because you are not a true and honest student of Christ, of His Word, you are easily deceived.

WE are nothing, we don’t exist, we have nothing without JESUS! See John 15:5;  Colossians 1.

Pinnacle Revelation

Knowing God is the paramount divine purpose for which He sent His only begotten Son  ….. and for which He created, made us.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3

Knowing God is the reason He sent His only begotten Son—to bring us to Himself in a present and eternal relationship (Exodus 25:8; Psalms 27:4, 8; Philippians 3:10, etc.). One of Satan’s tricks is to get the elders to intercept that heart affection worship.

“And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.” Exodus 25:8

“It has always been about Jesus. Before Christ came to save us from our sins, the Bible was pointing to Jesus. Now after Christ came, we still look to Jesus. It has always been about knowing and trusting in Jesus. Before He came people just did not know His name, but now we do!” Serena Wagner

It’s not about elders, bishops. or pastors. Christ’s eternal kingdom is all about Jesus and no other. Read John 1; Colossians 1-2; Hebrews 1; Revelation 1.

The only way to “know him” is to be “made conformable unto his death.”

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Philippians 3:10

In knowing and loving God, should we not desires to keep everything out of our lives which would interfere with that relationship?

“The early Christians were intensely Christ centered. Jesus Christ was their pulse beat. He was their life, their breath, and their central point of reference. He was the object of their worship, and the subject of their songs, and the content of their discussions and vocabulary. The New Testament church made the Lord Jesus Christ central and supreme in all things.” Pagan Christianity

“I read a story about Richard Burton the actor. It seems to fit what was spoken in this podcast. Richard Burton was asked in his church to stand up and recite the 23rd Psalm. He was impressive with how he spoke. And left the people ‘spellbound”. When he finished the crowd broke out in a huge applause. He then asked his retired Pastor to do the same. So this old retired Pastor rose from his wheelchair and with a feeble voice and much shivering he began to speak. When he was done there was not a dry eye in the place. The actor rose and his voice quivered as he said, ‘Ladies and Gentlemen, I reached your eyes and ears, but my old pastor had reached your hearts. The difference is just this: I know the Psalm, but he knows the Shepherd.’ Just as we see in the modern day churches. They do not know the Shepherd! Only know of Him! They don’t know Him in their hearts. So it’s all fake. Our relationship with God should not be based on what we know of Him. But based on knowing Him!” Karen Cochran

The Cross

IF you are not hearing the cross, the crucified life and knowing Jesus and the Father, you are sitting under “another gospel” (John 17:3; Galatians 1:6-9; 2:20; 6:14; Philippians 3:10; Colossians 1-2).

Today’s wolves coercively indoctrinate their prey into believing they must belong to that certain “church” instead of fostering a love for God, for Jesus in them. They are not upholding, exalting and glorifying JESUS (Colossians 1-2)!

Has not the modern church been turned into anything but knowing, seeking, loving, worshipping, and obeying Jesus? This is the spirit of antichrist which has replaced the worship of the nail-scarred risen Savior. He is not upheld, they are not holding Him up, upholding Jesus Christ. See Colossians 2:18-19.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3

“These early believers loved Jesus with their whole hearts. He was the central focus of their lives! Unlike the churches today who are centered on self, and Jesus is no where to be found. He stands at the door and knocks but they won’t let Him in.” Karen Cochran

Wow, the heart of the Gospel is coming to light, God is bringing it to the light…. knowing Him via the crucified life (Philippians 3:10)!

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” Philippians 3:10

“Knowing God and the cross: That nails it! As I read how these early believers loved Jesus and He was their whole life, I started to see how my life has changed since embracing the cross. The things I used to enjoy, fleshly, worldly, I no longer enjoy! I want my whole life to be about Jesus! Just as the early believers. If Jesus isn’t involved I don’t want to be involved! It is no longer what I want but what my Lord wants! God has changed my heart. I desire what he desires. Psalm 37:4. Through the cross, the crucified life our hearts are increasingly circumcised as God changes our desires to desire what He desires. Hallelujah! It’s no longer about you, but Jesus!” Karen Cochran

“One man fully surrendered to God is more valuable than 10,000 men who attend church.” unknown

“Disciples are not raised up in Bible schools or in buildings wearing their Sunday best. They are made in the furnace with much affliction and persecution. But we count it all as joy!” unknown

“How true this is! Sad! It is called “churchianity” and has ABSOLUTELY N.O.T.H.I.N.G to do with Jesus Christ or following Him or the Kingdom of God! NOTHING! It is a RELIGIOUS SCAM.” Clare R. Watts

“Many years ago we were part of a church that preached this. The idea was to bring them in! Then do not preach anything that might make them uncomfortable or offend. Especially do not preach sin, salvation, or repentance. They wanted the church to be nonthreatening. Do not do or say anything to scare them away. I guess they get saved by osmosis. Jesus offended. John 6:60, many of His disciples told Him ‘these are hard sayings, who can hear it.’ In v 61 Jesus responded “Doth this offend you?” And it did because v 66 says many walked away. That was their choice. Jesus didn’t soften the gospel because it offended people.” Karen Cochran

It’s not only WHAT a man is teaching, more insidiously, it’s what he’s NOT teaching. And if you don’t know God’s Word yourself, you’ll never know what’s being left out of today’s false gospel.

Yet we have so many claiming their pastor is the best, their church is amazing, etc. Yet, do these same people know the Word (2 Timothy 2:15; 3:15-17, etc.)? Are they in God’s Word daily? Are they denying self, taking up the cross, and following Jesus daily (Luke 9:23-24)?

As many of you will relate, I can’t tell you how many people have sworn how great their “church” and pastors are. Only needed to listen to 20 minutes of one of their pastor’s sermonettes which included so very little Scripture and in addition to that, they are using fake “bibles.”

Recently a head “pastor” / “elder” took exception from our different views of what constitutes true fellowship, assembling as Christ’s saints (Acts 2:42; Colossians 3:16; Hebrews 10:25). This same seminarian graduate “pastor” didn’t know God’s Word very well and so we can assume neither did his audience. They held bingo meetings at that “church.”

Most have no idea that they are being played by a priesthood of Vatican indoctrinated seminarians, false prophets. And most of those professional seminarian “pastors” have no idea how much they’ve been deceived. Many or most of them have never been born again. Upon attending Bible college myself, it became more than evident that most of the students, future hireling “pastors” were not even saved—and didn’t want to be.

When the Jesuit devils infiltrated the seminaries, the first thing they did was replace the King James Bible with Vatican corrupted and controlled “bibles.” They all come from the corrupt lineage of manuscripts.

In preparation for the one world religion, this Vatican infiltration began in the 1950’s (Revelation 17-18). Billy Graham the traitor greatly participated and because so many upheld that antichrist masonic devil as a type of protestant pope, they were ensnared.

ARE WE hearing Bible truth like this? If not, what does that reveal about those we’ve chosen to sit under?

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14

“I have had many argue with me over this verse. They will say I can’t be holy, I sin everyday and am only human. So I guess they accept that as fact and are content to stay living in their sin. Holiness is a requirement to be able to enter God’s presence. There will be consequences for continuing in a life of sin. ‘For the wages of sin is death’ (Romans 6:23).” Karen Cochran

What about 2 Corinthians 7:1? Look it up if you don’t yet have it memorized.

What about the myriad of Bible verses, passages on the cross, the crucified life? Ever hear them from your favorite “pastor”? If not you are willingly deceived and he’s an enemy of the cross of Christ – “Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things” (Philippians 3:18-19). Personal holiness is essential and the Gospel imperative of the cross makes this possible.

We cannot get to God’s end till we obey His means to that end. Death and burial preceded His resurrection blessing!

Those who wish to continue in their sins that separate them from God who is Holy, evade/ run from the sound doctrine of Holy Scripture which centers upon the cross of Christ and the one He mandated that we take up daily (Luke 9:9:23-24).

“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:22-23

Speaking of the apostate modern church world and the lies being told to the people….

“Easy believism. Just let me say a quick prayer (no repentance) so I can go to heaven. Then let me go and live my best life now! No requirements. No conditions. Don’t ask me to give up anything for Christ. I will mention His name once in awhile and even pray when I may need something but I don’t want a relationship. I am busy with my life. I will continue to come to church and tithe but any mention of hell, dying to self, repentance, holiness, sin, and judgment I will leave and not come back. I can find another church with a Pastor that will tickle my ears. The mind of a modern, lukewarm, living my best life now, Christian!” Karen Cochran

Church membership, false teachings, and religious organizations are a trap. These are Satan’s agents to keep you from the King and eternity with Him. The harshest rebukes issued forth from Christ upon the false priesthood of frauds of His day and nothing has changed (Ecclesiastes 1:9; Matthew 23, etc.). He didn’t flip the tables of the heathen but rather of the money changers in the temple upon those who had replaced the worship of Him to make those gatherings a den of thieving wolves (Matthew 21; John 2). Jesus and His apostles constantly warned us of this… Matthew 7:15; 24:11; 2 Peter 3:17; Colossians 2:6-10; Revelation 3:11, etc.

The biblical revelation, the truth concerning what the humble assembling of Christ’s saints is to look like seems to produce in us a pleasant soberness, right?… Acts 2:42; Colossians 3:17, etc.

As Peter specifically pointed out, the rah-rah sessions we call “worship services” are constructed to make merchandise of the people, to make them feel obligated to pay into it, to fund the circus, to keep them spinning (2 Peter 2:1-3).  Jesus is flipping the tables on those who have made His house (the occasion for His body to meet and love on Him and each other) into a den of thieves (Matthew 21 and John 2).

Church Membership Exposed

“Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.” Ezekiel 3:21

Is the blood off your hands? Are you warning those around you?

This doesn’t require screaming at anyone but rather communicating to them what lies ahead for every eternal soul (Proverbs 15:11; Mark 16:16, etc.).

“Therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.” Ezekiel 33:7

One will never see until he seeks.

“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.” 1 Chronicles 16:11

Any and every person who has not repented and chosen to have a heart after God, is not going to be with Him in eternity (1 Samuel 16:7; Psalms 57:7; 63:8;  Matthew 5:6; 15:8; Acts 13:22, etc.).

“If modern Christians refuse to serve the Lord now on this earth, why would they want to serve Him in heaven? As many hearts are far from Him. (Matthew 15:8). Would God want anyone in His kingdom who does not love Him with all their heart, soul and mind (Matthew 22:37)? Those who love Him supremely want to obey and serve Him with all their hearts. His true disciples will be His servants in the New Jerusalem (Revelation 22:3). ‘And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him.” All others who don’t love Him and are busy serving self will be vanquished into the eternal flames.” Karen Cochran

“We would see Jesus.” John 12:21

Anyone who is in darkness, does not see, is blind … is blind due to their HEART not being turned to the LORD, truly. They have not truly repented afresh and are not seeking the fake of the LORD. They are out of communion, out of fellowship with God. There’s no way to walk with the light of the world on HIS stated terms an not be walking in the light of His truth (Psalms 119:130; John 8:12).

“But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless WHEN it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:14-18

The only reason we, each of us has been deceived in the past is due to our own biblical ignorance (Proverbs 24:5; Hosea 4:6; 2 Timothy 2:15). Lacking the knowledge of the Word, we didn’t see what they were LEAVING OUT. We didn’t know to discern what they were teaching and what they were NOT teaching. Now, as we grow in the knowledge of the LORD through diligent daily study of His Word, we know to look for the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith. For example, WHERE O WHERE is the cross, the crucified life being taught in the apostate modern church? Virtually nowhere! AND, there is no overcoming of sin (which separates us from God) without the cross life, without being crucified with Christ daily (Luke 9:23-24; Romans 6, etc.).

ANY man pretending to be representing Christ and not preaching the cross Christ preached, mandated, is a wolf. 100%. Run.

“Some people aren’t worshipping the Jesus of the Bible, but rather, a Jesus they’ve created in their own minds with their own opinions and preferences. That’s called idolatry.” Shane Pruitt

Counterfeits don’t care about the murdered or continual murder of innocent precious babies …… they just want to go back to their Laodicean lifestyle.

IF your giving is to something that is not biblically true to Jesus’ Great Commission, you are funding a fraud, you are bidding God speed to hell bound wolves in sheep’s clothing and will be judged with them.

“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” 2 John 10-11

TODAY: A close friend of mine who is a brother in Christ sent me this. He has orphanages in Uganda. He called today to tell me about the fake “church” he goes to in the Dallas area that is currently raising and collecting $16 MILLION dollars to build a pickle ball and basket ball court. They fully know of his orphanages in Uganda. Anyone wish to guess how much money they gave him to help support the Gospel work he’s doing? Take a guess in the comments if you wish….

***ANYONE GIVING TO SUCH A FRAUD “CHURCH” PROVES TO BE A LOST SOUL. REPENT NOW.

Let me get this straight ….
The wolf you call “pastor” is collecting money to build a new building, to build a basketball court, to increase his real estate portfolio, etc. ….. and you still don’t see he’s a fraud?

WHERE did Jesus or His holy apostles collect one penny to build any building to further Christ’s kingdom? Chapters and verses please.

AND WE WONDER WHY AMERICA IS OVER? This is the same list of sins Sodom was cited for just before total destruction (Ezekiel 16:49-51). – “neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy” (Ezekiel 16:49).

The root sins that led to the complete destruction of Sodom and Gom0rrah.

The Forgotten Sins of Sodom [podcast]

It’s time to cease building the church busine$$es of evil men and begin building Christ’s kingdom in the hearts of men.

This is exactly what Jesus meant when He declared “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18).

“Upon this rock (the revelation that Jesus is the Messiah) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18

If a pretend elder is not equipping people for “the work of the ministry,” launching them, etc., such a man is a fraud 100%.

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” Ephesians 4:11-12

God didn’t send His only begotten Son to come die for His people to they could be church members of a wolf. There’s no such thing as church membership in the early church. No one raised a penny to build an official “church” building. No they WERE the church and lived like it. The money was spent to build Christ’s kingdom, to take care of those called out full-time as Christ’s Gospel laborers, and the CHRISTIANS who were poor/needed help at the time.

“False preachers and teachers always preach to your emotions and pride: making you feel good about yourself. The gospel of Jesus Christ, which stresses repentance and dying to self will absolutely not appeal to our emotions! I felt about 2 inches tall when I heard the truth about myself. It was the worst “feelings” that lead to the best decision I’ve ever made or will make.” Michael Neff

YOUR PRAYER: Holy Father, I come to You as an absolute fraud, a vile and depraved sinful man. Bust up the depth of my cold hardened heartat the innermost core of this being. Please strip all the evil. Break me. Cleanse me. Do Your deep work in this life dear LORD. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Eternal Danger of Trusting Mere Men [podcast]

Audio Player

Idol Shepherds Abounding!

The LORD is Holy and will not share His glory with any other.

“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” Isaiah 42:8

Your favorite pastor, evangelist or teacher among men is “at his best state … altogether vanity” (Psalms 39:5). God be thanked for the life of every true servant elder and yet they are mere men. God did not send His only begotten Son to die and be buried and raised again to make you a good church member or fan of a mere man who is supposed to be a servant leader. Jesus came to take away our sins, make us new creatures so we could know Him and His Father – and serve them and not man (John 1:29; 17:3; 1 Corinthians 7:23). We are each called to “know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” (Philippians 3:10). Let’s read the whole verse: “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death” (Philippians 3:10).

RAVI ZACHARIAS is just another pawn of Satan whom gullible dupes clung to, they hung to his every word. He rarely even mentioned the cardinal doctrines of the Christian faith – the holiness of God, the precious blood of Jesus, the crucified life, repentance, etc.. Why did they cling to him, a mere man? They were unrepentant and therefore weren’t choosing to truly worship, seek the face of, love and obey Christ. The vacuum left by their idolatry facilitated their delusion. Then Ravi died in sin. When you love the LORD, truly, you love and devour HIS Word, daily. Read 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12.

“LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. 5  Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. 6  Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. 7  And now, Lord, what wait I for? MY HOPE IS IN THEE.” Psalms 39:4-7

When O When will we truly repent and genuinely follow JESUS, pouring over and hanging on HIS every Word – from Genesis to Revelation? Isn’t that why He gave us HIS Word, the Bible? (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” 20:31

“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” Jeremiah 17:5

The ministries of mere men are not an end in themselves.

They are called to simply teach God’s Word itself – and to get you into God’s Word daily for yourself.

Notice how the apostle Paul reveals how the disciples at Thessalonica “received the word of God.”

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when YE RECEIVED THE WORD OF GOD which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” 1 Thessalonians 2:13

“Ye received the word of God – Ye received the doctrine of God, not as any thing fabricated by man, but as coming immediately from God himself, we being only his messengers to declare what he had previously revealed to us. And ye have had the fullest proof that ye have not believed in vain; for that doctrine, under the power and influence of the Holy Ghost, has worked most powerfully in you, filling you with light, life, and holiness.” Adam Clarke

They were “taught of God”, not men (1 Thessalonians 4:9).

The ministries of the servants of God are merely designed to get you to discern ….. and to get into God’s Word FOR YOURSELF – to study to show your own self approved unto God! (Acts 17:10-11)

” And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:10-11

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” 1 Thessalonians 2:13

YOU do it.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

The lazy, those who don’t truly love the LORD are being eliminated as goats. This all comes on the heels of their refusal to seek God…. and study His own Word.

No, instead the idolaters of mere men will read and listen to endless messages by mere men, their favorite preachers, mere men. They then bond with those mere men, there is an unnatural soul-tie created.

“Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” Isaiah 2:22

“Isaiah 2:19-22 People will seek for shelter wherever they can hide. It will be clear then that fleeting man is unworthy of trust. Only the Lord is worthy of the undivided confidence of His people.” Believer’s Bible Commentary

“Cease ye – Never admire or place your trust in man. Breath – Whose breath is quickly stopped and taken away. Wherein – What excellency is in him, considered in himself, and without dependence on God?” John Wesley

“Cease ye from man – Trust neither in him, nor in the gods that he has invented. Neither he, nor they, can either save or destroy.” Adam Clarke

The church world is full of wolves in sheep’s clothing. The list of “idol shepherd(s) is long…. Here is but a sampling:

“Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith” [podcast]

Audio Player

Jesus Christ is the Author and Finisher of our faith and He requires our personal participation both initially and ongoing, as we “endure to the end”, abiding in Him (Matthew 10:22; 24:13; John 15, etc.).

“From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?” John 6:66-67

WHERE O WHERE are we going to go if we depart from Jesus? …. does He, the eternal God and Creator of all things not hold the future of every living soul in His holy hand?

FB Meyer on John 6:60-71

“THE SIFTING OF JESUS’ FOLLOWERS
Christ’s pathetic question-Will ye also go away?-elicited from Peter a reply which proved that the inner meaning of His words had already broken upon their souls. ‘Thy words give us and nourish within us the eternal life.'”

“Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?” John 6:66-67

There are many today, who like the 5,000 who departed from Christ, leave when they hear the cross message – the divine command to be crucified with Christ. Jesus asks us today: “Will you allow He who authored your faith to finish it?”

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:1-4

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:   knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness”? Romans 6:1-16

“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” Colossians 2:3-10

The Gospel, the Resurrection of Christ

1 Corinthians 15

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

“My Sheep Hear My Voice, and I Know them, and they Follow Me” [podcast]

Audio Player

There are 7 portraits of Jesus in the Gospel of John. One of those seven portraits is Jesus our “the good shepherd.” (John 10)

The first thing the good shepherd of the sheep did was give His life to purchase the sheep with His own blood.

“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:11

Jesus who created us, then came to die to buy up back to the Father and Himself.

The Bible, God’s Word, is full of illustrations of who God is, and who He is to us. He is our shepherd….the shepherd of His true sheep. How do we know who His remnant saints, sheep truly are? How do we know if we individually are truly His?

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:27-29

“John 10:27
My sheep hear my voice – But ye will not hear: – my sheep follow me; but ye will neither follow nor acknowledge me. Any person who reads without prejudice may easily see, that our Lord does not at all insinuate that these persons could not believe, because God had made it impossible to them; but simply because they did not hear and follow Christ, which the whole of our blessed Lord’s discourse proves that they might have done. The sheep of Christ are not those who are included in any eternal decree, to the exclusion of others from the yearnings of the bowels of eternal mercy; but they are those who hear, believe in, follow, and obey the Savior of the world.” Adam Clarke

We know He is our shepherd if we are reading, listening for, and walking out the voice of His Word. That’s why He gave us His Word. The voice of His Word is His voice. This is why God gave us the Bible, His Word, the “voice” of His Word. Jesus says “My sheep hear my voice” and the “voice” of Jesus is with us, is God’s written Word. We have the “voice”, the very words of our LORD on record. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The primary way God’s voice is heard by His sheep is the Holy Scriptures….. reading God’s Word is hearing the voice of God.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalms 119:105

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:13-14

Our LORD, the good shepherd of our souls, told us that His sheep are those who hear His voice, the voice of His Word. Those not in the Word are not hearing the voice of God.

“He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” John 8:47

Those who are “of the truth” hear the voice, the words of Jesus Christ.

“To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” John 18:37

Jesus made it clear who His true sheep are ….

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

Jesus’ sheep hear His voice, He knows them, they follow Him. They don’t listen to nor follow their own feelings, human reasoning, their own wicked heart, nor any mere men … “follow your heart”? No.  That’s a lie from hell. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)  Jesus died to save you so you would be His, and that you would follow Him, His voice and none other.

Jesus, on record in John 10:27-29, is telling us that it’s only those who are hearing His voice, the voice of His Word, and following Him, who are going to be kept in His holy hand. After being saved, only those who abide in Christ to the end will be kept by Him and with Him eternally. Read John 15:1-6 where you will see that any whom Jesus saves and yet then they don’t “abide” (remain, continue) in Him will be cast into the fire of hell (v6).

Take a closer look at John 10:27-29. Anchor the promise in verses 28-29 on verse 27 where Jesus identifies who His sheep are—those who hear and continue to hear His voice and continue to follow Him (present tense). The divine promise here to be kept is a conditional
promise requiring the individual recipient of the gift of God to continue to hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27-29). If you are born again, a sheep of Christ’ pasture, and you cease hearing His voice and following Him, you are no long His.

Many today detach, separate our LORD’s words in verse 27 from verses 28-29 of John 10. In doing so, they perpetrate their “eternal security” mythology which is Satan’s first lie (Genesis 2:17; 3:4). Beware as this was the first lie Satan told mankind, which led to the fall (Genesis 2:17; 3:4).

The LORD saved you to be His – to hear the voice of His Word and to follow Him, to walk with Him.

“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” 1 Peter 1:5

To be kept you must live “through faith” – to hear and believe the voice of His Word, and walk with Him accordingly.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

“Eternal security”, otherwise known as “once saved always saved”, is a lie from hell. Run from any and all wolves peddling this, Satan’s first lie (Genesis 2:17; 3:4).

To be “kept” by Jesus, the saved sheep must live his life “through faith.”

“And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.”   Luke 17:5

The recipient of salvation must “through faith” be “kept.” God never removes man’s free will and requires not only initial but also continued faith. Jesus foretold that some would be saved and then not continue with Him and “fall away” (Luke 8:12-13).

“Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:9

Prayer: Father, I know You are holy and require my faith to the end of this life. Make sensitive my conscience, quicken my spirit to repentance and to be holy as You are holy. In Jesus’ name.

Jesus Christ our LORD is “that great shepherd of the sheep.”

“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21  Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21

“For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,” Psalms 95:7

“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” Psalms 100:3

“To hear His voice, we submit to the pruning of the Holy Ghost in our heart. The fruit of righteousness can only be produced in an ABIDING relationship with Jesus and cultivated by the Holy Spirit given to them that OBEY him. (John 15:3-5; 14:15-17)” Jon Crane
