“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.” Acts 24:16

WHEN God is truly first in your life, EVERYTHING you do, your whole life, revolves around your fellowship with and obedience to Him (Matthew 6:33; Luke 19:27). All others are counterfeits. Repent now. Put the LORD first or perish (Matthew 25:1-13; Titus 1:16; 1 John 2:4; Revelation 3:15-16, etc.).

Jesus teaches us that real change and the “manifest” presence of the LORD only come to those who love, worship, and obey Christ (John 14:21-23). These blessings don’t come from praising and worshipping the LORD. There is no magic bullet. Time to get into the trenches and stop buying Satan’s lies.

OSAS (once saved always saved), eternal security people are those who want the guarantee that they are going to Heaven no matter how they live on earth. Jesus gave no such guarantee. This is the band of moral cowards who refuse any real accountability or personal responsibility. They force a lie on God’s Word, manipulating it, taking it out of context to say that they are “eternally secure” without following, worshiping, remaining in fellowship with, and obeying Jesus ON HIS STATED TERMS to the end of their life on earth. These are the vilest of snakes in the church world today of which Jude specifically warned us about (Jude 4). BEWARE.

Who are Jesus’ Authentic Followers?

“He that covereth (hides) his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13

WANT to see an authentic truth-seeker? They are honest about their own utter, desperate need for Jesus today! (See Psalms 51; 32:5; 38:18; 69:5; Matthew 5:3 and Luke 18:13.) They are fighting the good fight of faith and do not make excuse for their sin but rather confess and forsake it, cutting off the hand and plucking out the eye – whatever it takes (Proverbs 28:13; Mark 9:43-49; 1 Timothy 6:12). God is presently working in their lives – unlike the self-serving OSAS counterfeits who have a mere “form of godliness” and from whom the LORD has departed (Philippians 2:12-13; 2 Timothy 3:5).

“But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience (continuance).” Luke 8:15

Like David, each of us has more than abundant reason to cry out to God! Psalms 51

WHEN a person believes OSAS/eternal security, it clearly reveals that:

  1. They are not being honest with God (Luke 8:15).
  2. They are not honest with His Word (Romans 3:4).
  3. They are self-deceived (Titus 3:10-11).
  4. God has sent them a “strong delusion” because they don’t love His truth (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)
  5. They are not studying to show their own selves approved to God but rather following snakes who tell them what they want to hear – tickle their ears (2 Timothy 2:15; 4:2-5; Jude 3-4; Isaiah 30:9-10, etc.).
  6. Have turned the grace of God into “lasciviousness” – license to sin (Jude 3-4).
  7. If they live in sin, which is usually the case, they are no longer saved by grace because they continue in sin instead of repenting, confessing it, and obeying God (Romans 6:1-2; Galatians 5:4; Titus 2:11-12; Hebrews 12:14-15).
  8. They are hell bound and it’s going to be worse than if they’d never known, experienced initial salvation (Ezekiel 33:12-13; 2 Peter 2:20-21).
  9. They have departed from the faith due to giving in to “seducing spirits and doctrines of devils” (1 Timothy 4:1-2).
  10. Didn’t endure to the end during trying times and fell away even though they still have a mere “form of godliness” (Luke 8:13; 2 Timothy 3:5).

Abiding Under the Shadow of the Almighty [podcast]

Lord, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. 16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:  Jeremiah 15:15-16

Dwelling “in the secret place of the most High”

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” Psalms 91:1-2

“In the secret place of the Most High – Spoken probably in reference to the Holy of holies. He who enters legitimately there shall be covered with the cloud of God’s glory – the protection of the all-sufficient God. This was the privilege of the high priest only, under the law: but under the new covenant all believers in Christ have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus; and those who thus enter are safe from every evil.” Adam Clarke

“[Psalms] 91:1, 2 Jesus is the One who in a preeminent way dwelt in the secret place of the Most High, and abode under the shadow of the Almighty. There never was a life like His. He lived in absolute, unbroken fellowship with God, His Father. He never acted in self-will but did only those things that the Father directed. Though He was perfect God, He was also perfect Man, and He lived His life on earth in utter and complete dependence on God. Without equivocation He could look up and say, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him I will trust.” Believer’s Bible Commentary

Attend to My Words [podcast]

IF THE WORD isn’t flowing into you daily, you are falling away. Flood and fuel your heart and mind and body with the pure, the holy light of God’s Word daily and you will never famish! All darkness will be vanquished (Psalms 119:130). All who have been saved and yet aren’t in God’s Word and prayer daily – have rejected Christ, with no exception. Re-turn to the LORD prodigal. There’s no good outside of Christ the KING.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalms 119:130

ALL who are not in God’s written Word daily are not hearing from God, do not have God’s wisdom and direction, and are walking in darkness – 100%.

The feeding of Christ’s flock would integrally involve exhorting them to diligently study and walk in God’s Word themselves, daily (John 21:15-17). Isn’t this exactly what the apostle Paul told Timothy to do? Yes. He told his understudy to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

One of the ways we know who the false ministers are, is that they want people dependent on THEM, not God. So, they don’t constantly exhort the people to get into God’s Word, the Holy Scriptures, for themselves. Run.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

“He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. … My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:4, 20-23

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16

“Over the last 5-10 years I can see where He has done this for me already, but the problem is …. it’s not enough! I want even more! One hour of study and prayer in the morning is not enough!” Christine
