“For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.” Romans 14:9

Christ died to fully pay for the sins of all of humanity that He might reign in the lives of all He saves.

“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:4

Any person whom Jesus has saved and yet is today not walking with Jesus via studying and obeying His Word, is out of the will of God. Read John 14-15 and 1 John 2-3.

“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

Everyone who is known of God presently proves such by their daily hearing and obeying His Word.

“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:14

This does not mean we are meriting our salvation but rather we prove our love for Him by our obedience to Christ.

Our obedience to Christ is the expression of our love for Him.

“And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” 1 John 2:3-5

Any person claiming to be saved by Christ and yet that faith in Him they claim doesn’t result in a life of good works, is …..

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:17

“But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2:20

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26

Read  James 2.

God loves us and wants us to experience relationship with Him, now and forever (John 17:3). Friend, who else has ever died for you but Jesus, the Good Shepherd? Is He not worthy of your all?

Christ saves. Christ sanctifies. Anyone He saves and then doesn’t abide in, with Him …. will not be with Him. If you die in sin you will spend eternity in hell, irrevocably. Parable of the 10 Virgins. Read it closely. Live it. Matthew 25:1-13

True servants of the LORD will refuse to lie to the people like is described as something done by the false prophets in Jeremiah 23:17 and other places, including Jude. Impending doom awaits all who die in sin (Ezekiel 33:12-13).

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21

Commentary on Romans 14:9 –

“For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.” Romans 14:9

“The main principle for us all is to live and die to please our Lord. He is our Master, and it will be for Him to allot our rewards. In the meantime let us not judge one another, but live in love, leaving each to work out the plan of his own life as his Master directs.” FB Meyer

“Romans 14:9
Christ both died and rose – That we are not our own, but are the Lord’s both in life and death, is evident from this – that Christ lived, and died, and rose again, that he might be the Lord of the dead and the living; for his power extends equally over both worlds: separate, as well as embodied spirits, are under his authority; and he it is who is to raise even the dead to life: and thus all throughout eternity shall live under his dominion. The clause και ανεστη, and rose, is wanting in several reputable MSS., and certainly is not necessary to the text. Griesbach omits the words, and reads απεθανε και εζησεν, died and lived; of which Professor White says, lectio indubie genuina: “this reading is indisputably genuine.” Adam Clarke

“14:9 One of the reasons for which Christ died and rose and lived again is that He might be our Lord, and that we might be His willing subjects, gladly rendering to Him the devotion of our grateful hearts. His lordship continues even in death, when our bodies lie in the grave and our spirits and souls are in His presence.”  Believer’s Bible Commentary

Prayer: LORD Jesus, thank You for being crucified for my sins. Right now, this moment, if never before, I lay my life in Your perfect, almighty hands. Bless this life to be holy as You are Holy. Use me Jesus, please.

The Killing Power of the Holy Ghost with Judge Travis Bryan III [podcast]

“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” Romans 8:13

“Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.” 2 Corinthians 4:10-12

“The cross of Christ is the sweetest burden that I ever bore; it is such a burden as wings are to a bird, or sails to a ship, to carry me forward to my harbor.” Samuel Rutherford

Momentum in the power of the Holy Spirit comes from a continual perpetual downward dying motion, being then raised up reciprocally in the resurrection grace of Jesus Christ.

“The flesh loses its power over you when it is crucified. Christ’s power begins to reign. The worries and stress of this life leave. And you begin to have the peace that passes all understanding. Philippines 4:7 Amen! A crucified life! Hallelujah all praise to Jesus.” Karen Cochran

God’s plan for your life….here it is:

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

The ministry has put together 3 volumes sure to deepen your life in Christ, in the crucified life. 3 volumes to boost your life in Christ, in the cross He commanded us to take up – and by which He raises us upward in His glorious power and grace (Luke 9:23-24).

The LORD Lift Up His Countenance Upon Thee, and Give Thee Peace [podcast]

“For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:3-7

“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. ” Numbers 6:24-26
