“The Joy of the LORD is your Strength” [video]

Simple: Fill your mind and heart with His Word, daily! Boom Jesus.
Listen closely to the prophet Jeremiah beloved of God:

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

What is the result of searching the Holy Scriptures? Read that verse above again.

How can anyone be sad who is full of God’s Word and therefore has “joy and rejoicing” of heart? Impossible.

“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.” Psalms 19:7-8

Drink Heaven’s healing oil and keep guzzling it! It’s your daily bread and the fuel of His amazing joy in your life. No matter what comes your way “the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Watch this…. did you realize the actual context of this Nehemiah 8:10 verse? Check out the next passage. Read it closely and get ready to never be the same again!

“So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. 9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law. 10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:8-10

1. v8 – The elders read directly the Holy Scriptures! Oh what a concept! Few of today’s “pastors” do such because they’re too busy entertaining their prey to build their church busine$$ (2 Peter 2:1-3).
2. v9 – “For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.”
3. v10 – The result of ingesting God’s Word was great joy! “the joy of the LORD is your strength.” The Word is the fuel for the joy of the LORD in our lives. No fuel, no flourishing. The more of the Word, the more joy one will have. Get filled!

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.” Isaiah 66:2

“10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:10-11

“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:21

As did the elders to the people in Israel, we hope and pray to be one of those remnant outreaches that continue to hand out the hot bread of Heaven on a daily basis (Nehemiah 8; John 21:15-17). YOU are loved by the LORD and His beloved people (Jeremiah 31:3; John 13:35; 1 John 4:7-8, etc.). In Christ’s kingdom there will always be a banquet set forth by Your Savior for you to feast upon (Psalms 23:5). Jesus is King. He’s coming.

YOUR PRAYER: Father in Heaven, I come to You in Jesus’ name. Please wash me afresh by Thy blood and Word. Establish my life on the bedrock foundation of Your Word – learning, walking, and obeying it. Grant a great hunger to feast at Your banqueting table dear LORD, please. I love You my LORD Jesus. Thank You for finding and saving my wretched soul into Your eternal family. Thank You for all You’ve done for me and given. Please use me dear LORD. In the name of Jesus, amen!
