“Nation Shall Rise Against Nation” – Racism Prophesied, Foretold

with Frank Telford and Todd Tomasella

It’s not about the color or your skin, it’s about what kingdom you’re in!

Ethnos is the Greek word here for “nation” … With this in mind, check out what Jesus foretold of these final days leading up to His return:

“For nation (ethnic group) shall rise against nation (ethnic group), and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” Matthew 24:7

In other words, Jesus gives us another sign of the last days when He foretells that ethnic group will rise against ethnic group as His return approaches. Let’s read a wider scope of this passage.

Any person who does not walk in God’s love is not saved and we know that from many Scriptures. No hate, no hater shall enter Christ’s kingdom, no matter what justification that sinner thinks he has to warrant hating anyone. “He that loveth not knoweth not God.” (1 John 4:8) “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” (1 John 3:15)

REPENT now before the LORD for disparaging His creation. All who hate are as sure for hell as if they were already there.

Nothing in our lives is going to work out right if we don’t prayerfully endeavor to walk in God’s love – loving God and our neighbor, above ourselves. I love pouring prayerfully over 1 Corinthians 13 and Philippians 2:3-5. Life changing is an understatement!

EVERY PERSON IS CREATED IN THE IMAGE OF GOD AND MATTERS TO HIM AND HIS BODY! Being appreciative and proud of our temporary natural heritage is fine and yet insert THE GOLDEN RULE OF JESUS RIGHT THERE! (Matthew 7:12) Do you want anyone disparaging your people? No. Okay so why would you disparage other people, people of another geneology? The LORD commands you to “honour ALL men.” (1 Peter 2:17)

WHERE ARE WE? HERE WE ARE …. HAVE JESUS’ WORDS BELOW EVER BEEN MORE TRUE? NO. GOD’S WORD IS THE NEWS BEFORE THE NEWS.

Matthew 24
“For nation (Gr. ethnos, ethnic groups) shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:7-14

Jesus foretold of this hatred between different denominations of His creation in order for His people to be warned, aware, and fueled with His love!

“Nation Shall Rise Against Nation” – Mostly we’ve viewed this prophetic utterance from our LORD as pertaining to nations like Russia, America, and China, etc., attacking each other, and the apocalyptic final battle at Armeggedon, and rightfully so. Yet there’s at least a two-fold message and meaning here. The observable law of double reference seems to be in play here. People groups are rising against people group, right here in America. Within nations, ethnic groups are rising against one another, fueled by hatred, many times taught by parents and leaders.

In fact, these last days are going to offer the greatest opportunity, the greatest witness of God’s love – as people behold the true body of Christ walking in God’s love!

“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35

HOW are God’s true people known? Many claim to be Christians and yet, what is the witness of the LORD’s people? – “love one to another.”

DO YOU identify yourself primarily as a person of a certain color OR do you identify yourself by being in CHRIST?

Saints, whatever we do, let us daily ask God to permeate our lives with His holy love – as only He can do. Perhaps pouring over the words of 1 Corinthians 13 each morning will be the corresponding action of desiring divine love to fill your life.

Yet, the true body of Christ will never be involved in such hatred. Such hatred emanates  out of evil hearts in every denomination of the human race.

“And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;” Acts 17:26

There’s only one human race and God says “There is NO respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:11).

The evil yoke of racial tension is broken by God’s love poured out to the world through Jesus’ true disciples.

THE ORIGINAL DIVINE PURPOSE OF GOD ON THIS NATION IS NOT ALTERED BY A FEW EVIL MEN IN THE BEGINNING OR THEREAFTER. GOD IS GREATER THAN THE ENEMY’S PLANS AND PLANTS. ANY AND EVERYTHING OF GOD IS GOING TO BE INFILITRATED BY SATAN (GEN 3; PS 74). THAT DOESN’T CHANGE THE LORD’S PURPOSE WHICH HIS PEOPLE MUST PRAY TO BE RESTORED (2 CHRON. 7:14).

It seems observable that many times, racism is passed down from parents to their children. Instead of instilling love, these parents instill fear and hatred. Now, the big question is, are we going to perpetuate the curse to our children? Or, are we going to truly repent and walk in God’s love toward ALL men? God is watching you.

ANY parent who is not literally teaching their child HOLY SCRIPTURE today is out of the will of God and in need of repentance, now. Today is your day to truly repent and live out the love and the truth of God. | Godly Parenting

No one who walks with hatred in their heart can be of God.

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” 1 John 4:7-9

Notice “He that loveth not knoweth not God.” Definitely a memory truth.

Lay down your life and walk in God’s love or you are going to hell (1 John 4:8).

How can we love God and hate His creation? All people are God’s creation and to love God is to love all others.

4 Times God’s Word Uses the Phrase “Hateth His Brother”

“He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.” 1 John 2:9

“But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.” 1 John 2:11

“Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.” 1 John 3:15

“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” 1 John 4:20

“GOD is Love”

“God is love” and if you are truly His, you will be full of His love – namely for His creation, all of mankind.

We must always remember that we are not love, right? The Word never says to believers “You are love.” No, but it does say that “God is love” (1 John 4:8, 16). And the love of God is produced as a fruit, a produce, an evidence of His presence in the life of the born again abiding disciple.

Racism is sin. To hate anyone is to despise their Maker. Hatred for others, has no place in the heart, in the attitudes, in the lives of anyone who names the name of Jesus Christ.

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19

In the glorious kingdom of Christ, when a person is or is supposed to be our enemy, Jesus commands:

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;” Matthew 5:44

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, forgive me for the sin of hatred, despising in my heart anyone, in all of mankind, that You created for Your purposes. I repent now, returning to You unreservedly. Now Jesus, please fill me with, and produce the fruit of Your love in this crucified life, something You alone can do. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
