Are you sinfully Angry? (Ephesians 4:26; James 1:20)

If you are preaching hard against sin you’d better be preaching hard on mercy too—because without it, YOU, self-righteous hypocrite, are doomed to eternal damnation (Matthew 21:31). “Repentance AND remission of sins” is to be preached—not just one but both (Luke 24:47). Memorize James 1:20. Learn of the LORD. Be accountable for your own sin first and foremost (Matthew 7:1-5; Ephesians 4:32; 1 John 1:8-10). The very reason you are not living the crucified life, the cross, is the reason you don’t preach it, and it is the only solution GOD gave for sin. What’s Romans 6:7 say? Case closed.

Today’s self-righteous preachers preach as if everyone needs to repent except them. They preach hard against sin but never offer the only solution to holiness—the cross! Wow. Romans 6

Preaching Against Sin but Not Offering the LORD’s Solution to Overcome Sin?

The cross is God’s solution for man’s sin. Sin is the ultimate problem of the fallen human race and God’s provision, the solution to the curse of sin, is the cross of Christ.

So, you are preaching against sin and not preaching the cross, the  crucified life? Wow.

You preach and yet aren’t preaching the cross, the crucified life? (Luke 9:23-24; Galatians 2:20)

MANY are preaching against sin but few are giving the CROSS message Jesus and His holy apostles taught – as the only escape from sin. This has got to cease! Romans 6.

Let’s pray saints…. Dear LORD, have Your way in this life! In Jesus’ name I ask You Father to increase in me! I cease and decrease now!

Christ alone provided our salvation and He gave specific instructions for initial salvation and thereafter. The cross.

YOU and I are NOT overcoming sin if we are not living a crucified life.

“For he that is dead is freed from sin.” Romans 6:7

We are called by the LORD to love and live to please Him.

“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:15

And ALL, with no exception, who are living the crucified life WILL preach the cross. 100%. They will not just preach against sin, they will preach the divine solution – the crucified life (Galatians 2:20; 5:24; 6:14).

Jesus mandated the cross, the crucified life – to follow Him, to overcome sin (Luke 9:23-24).

PRAYER: Father please bless me to shut up and die! In Jesus’ name (2 Corinthians 1:9).

We must go down deep into the death and burial of Christ to be raised up by God into overcoming victory over sin and fruit-bearing momentum (2 Corinthians 4:10-12).

Citing sin as did Jesus and Paul and the other apostles is one thing…… self-righteously pounding on it as if everyone else needs to repent except us, reveals a deep seated and damning self-righteousness (Matthew 21:31). Beware. And most of those pounding sin aren’t even taking up nor preaching the only solution – the crucified life, the cross (Galatians 5:24) They have not sentenced themselves to death.

“But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:” 2 Corinthians 1:9

There are very few, the Heaven-bound remnant who hearken to the cross message (Isaiah 37:31; John 12:23-25; Galatians 5:24). They don’t want to die because they love this world (James 4:4; 1 John 2:15). Jesus saved them in the past but they refused to follow Him by way of the cross life He mandates (Luke 9:23-24). They are trading eternity with Jesus for this fleeting world. That’s exactly what Esau did and he’s been burning in hell for thousands of years (Hebrews 12:14-17).

All who reject the cross, the message of the crucifixion of Christ AND the crucified life…. are “perishing.”

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18

When we sentence self to death we simultaneously sentence sin and Satan to death! (Romans 6; Galatians 6:14; Hebrews 2:14)

The Self Righteous Beat Others Down

Lots of flesh, lots of self righteousness abounding due to lack of the cross. It’s time to shut up and die. You will continue to be ruled and controlled by your iniquitous flesh until you repent afresh, lay down your life, deny self, take up the cross, get crucified with Christ as He requires (Romans 6). Till then you have no business correcting anyone else (Matthew 7:1-5). You do not qualify (Galatians 6:1-2). You haven’t even corrected yourself. Be quiet and die downward in the crucified life.

Beware of the self-righteous hoards who roam on social media. They pound sin but never give God’s solution.

They surround themselves with other self-righteous hypocrites who do nothing but pound on sin while not giving the only divine solution…. which they themselves are not walking in, the cross (2 Corinthians 1:9).

YOUR PRAYER: Holy Father I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ, asking You to forgive my many sins, including self-idolatry and self-righteousness. Please wash me clean, afresh in the precious blood of Jesus. Please do Your deeper work in me dear LORD. Break me and cause my life to be conformed to the crucified image of Jesus Christ. Have Your way in me dear LORD. In Your hands I now commend, submit my spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Abiding Under the Shadow of the Almighty [podcast]

Lord, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. 16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:  Jeremiah 15:15-16

Dwelling “in the secret place of the most High”

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” Psalms 91:1-2

“In the secret place of the Most High – Spoken probably in reference to the Holy of holies. He who enters legitimately there shall be covered with the cloud of God’s glory – the protection of the all-sufficient God. This was the privilege of the high priest only, under the law: but under the new covenant all believers in Christ have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus; and those who thus enter are safe from every evil.” Adam Clarke

“[Psalms] 91:1, 2 Jesus is the One who in a preeminent way dwelt in the secret place of the Most High, and abode under the shadow of the Almighty. There never was a life like His. He lived in absolute, unbroken fellowship with God, His Father. He never acted in self-will but did only those things that the Father directed. Though He was perfect God, He was also perfect Man, and He lived His life on earth in utter and complete dependence on God. Without equivocation He could look up and say, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him I will trust.” Believer’s Bible Commentary

Attend to My Words [podcast]

IF THE WORD isn’t flowing into you daily, you are falling away. Flood and fuel your heart and mind and body with the pure, the holy light of God’s Word daily and you will never famish! All darkness will be vanquished (Psalms 119:130). All who have been saved and yet aren’t in God’s Word and prayer daily – have rejected Christ, with no exception. Re-turn to the LORD prodigal. There’s no good outside of Christ the KING.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalms 119:130

ALL who are not in God’s written Word daily are not hearing from God, do not have God’s wisdom and direction, and are walking in darkness – 100%.

The feeding of Christ’s flock would integrally involve exhorting them to diligently study and walk in God’s Word themselves, daily (John 21:15-17). Isn’t this exactly what the apostle Paul told Timothy to do? Yes. He told his understudy to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

One of the ways we know who the false ministers are, is that they want people dependent on THEM, not God. So, they don’t constantly exhort the people to get into God’s Word, the Holy Scriptures, for themselves. Run.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

“He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. … My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:4, 20-23

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16

“Over the last 5-10 years I can see where He has done this for me already, but the problem is …. it’s not enough! I want even more! One hour of study and prayer in the morning is not enough!” Christine
