Divinely Inspired and Preserved

The King James Bible is the prophesied final preservation of God’s Word in English.

Many things establish that the King James Bible is the preserved Word of God for the English speaking peoples. Here’s one of those indicators.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Psalms 12:6-7

See the fulfillment of this prophecy?

1. Tyndale Bible (1525)
2. Coverdale Bible (1535)
3. Matthews Bible (1537)
4. Great Bible (1538)
5. Geneva Bible (1560)
6. Bishop’s Bible (1568)
7. King James Bible (1611)

So the English Bible, ultimately called the King James Bible, went through a purification process, exactly how God foretold it would in Psalms 12:6-7.

Read this again:

Psalms 12:6 – 7
6 The words of the LORD [are] pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The King James Bible for the English speaking peoples, is the fulfillment of the divine prophecy, the promise of Psalms 12:6-7.

One source notes:

The King James Bible (KJB) and the English language have a deeply intertwined history, with the 1611 translation both shaping the development of modern English and eventually becoming more difficult to understand as the language continued to evolve.

The Impact on the English Language

The King James Bible has profoundly influenced the way English speakers write and speak. Many common idioms and phrases originated from or were popularized by the KJV, including:

    • “Signs of the times”
    • “Fly in the ointment”
    • “Long-suffering” and “scapegoat”

Evolution of the Text

While the original 1611 text was written in Early Modern English, it has undergone various changes and standardizations over the centuries. [1, 2]

  • Standardization (1769): To improve readability and fix early publishing errors, the Oxford edition of 1769 updated spelling (e.g., changing “speake” to “speak”) and standardized the language.
  • Pronoun Distinction: The KJV intentionally used “thee,” “thou,” “thy,” and “thine” for singular address, and “ye,” “you,” and “your” for plural address to avoid ambiguity. Modern English has merged these into the generic “you,” which some argue can lead to a loss of nuance.”

Some people have the mistaken idea that somehow, when God’s Word in translated from one language to another, its lost it’s power, its impact. Is this true? No because God never let His hand off of His Word – He preserved it.

This position is actually the spirit of agnosticism influencing people which blames God for dropping the ball, for neglecting to be a part of the affairs of men.

The most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.” Daniel 4:32

Beware of those who do not understand that God is sovereign, that “the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men” (Daniel 4:32). If the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, that means He’s active in the affairs of mankind – always has been and always will be because He “is love” (1 John 4:8, 16). The LORD Himself was in charge of the translation of His Word into English, as He promised to preserve it to all generations. This is a cornerstone truth in understanding the real English Bible vs the counterfeits. The LORD used God fearing men throughout HIS-story to make sure all generations had His written Word. THIS is a cornerstone truth that if not remembered, could lead to one being deceived. We call them “Bible agnostics” because they believe God exists and yet they do NOT believe He has been active in the affairs of men. Heresy.

“Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalms 121:4

God oversaw the canon of His Word, just as He promised to do in Psalms 12:6-7. It’s exactly how He desired, ordained it to be in the King James Bible. To say God checked out, was negligent, is a lie, is bearing false witness, and is an indictment against the Almighty (Psalms 121:4; Daniel 4:32, etc.). There were specific reasons those apocryphal books were not included in the real Bible, as opposed to the catholic “bible.”

Things to consider when questioning the canon of God’s Word….. God gave us what He wanted us to have in His 66 books …. God’s hand was on the putting together of His canon, His Word. The books that were rejected did not qualify. That doesn’t mean those excluded books don’t have some valuable information and yet, the LORD saw fit not to include them in the canon of His Word. Some use the term “Bible agnostics” for those who believe God lifted, took His holy hand off of the Bible, His Word, somewhere along the line. But Scripture assures us that such would be impossible.

Personally I give ZERO credibility to the myriad of fake “bibles” that have littered the landscape and minds of millions. Poison. LORD, thank You for Your preserved Word.

The Doctrine of Divine Preservation: Summation of the Jeremiah 36 Scenario

In Jeremiah 36, God demonstrates that His word cannot be destroyed by human power. Even after King Jehoiakim burned the original scroll in an attempt to silence the message, God commanded Jeremiah to rewrite the prophecy, adding even more words to it

The Story of Preservation in Jeremiah 36
This chapter provides a powerful historical example of the persistence of God’s word despite human opposition.
    • The Command to Write: God instructed Jeremiah to write down all the prophecies He had spoken against Israel and Judah since the days of Josiah. Jeremiah dictated them to his scribe, Baruch, who read them to the people.
    • The King’s Rejection: When King Jehoiakim heard the scroll read, he showed complete contempt by cutting it with a penknife and burning it in a firepot. He sought to arrest Jeremiah and Baruch, but the Lord hid them.
    • God’s Response: Burning the scroll did not destroy the message. God told Jeremiah to take another scroll and write all the former words that were in the first one.
    • The Outcome: The new scroll not only contained the original words but also included additional prophecies of judgment against the king and his house.

Key Themes
    • Divine Sovereignty: No earthly ruler has the power to extinguish God’s truth.
    • Persistence of Scripture: God’s word is enduring and will accomplish its purpose regardless of opposition.
    • Accountability: Attempting to destroy the message does not remove the consequences of rejecting it.

This narrative serves as a testament to the belief that God actively preserves His word to ensure it reaches its intended audience.”

To claim that God dropped the ball, that He didn’t keep His own word, and didn’t make sure the people of this day has His Word in their own language, just before He returns, is to say He is not love and does not care for those who are His children and alive on the earth today. To say that today we don’t have the in tact and fully living Word of God, is to completely pervert the character and truth the LORD has revealed to us of Himself.

To believe God inspired His Word in the originals and yet didn’t “preserve” them to every generation thereafter, is to indict God as being unloving, uncaring, and a liar, etc.

Oh and it seems that the people denying that we truly have God’s actual Word today, relish this as yet another excuse for them to live in sin. After all, we really don’t have and can’t understand God’s will, right? Wrong.

Did the LORD not make provision for His Word to be preserved to us?

Was His holy hand not integrally involved in the original inspiration and then the translating of His Word from one language to another for all generations?

Does He not know, dwell in, and integrally participate in the past, present, and future? (Isaiah 46:9-10).

Anyone who thinks God’s Word loses it’s power or anything He intended to import to us in His words, is missing what the divine import and promise of Psalms 12:6-7. And they are indicting God for not keeping this promise…. as if His Word doesn’t possess, loses it’s divine power due to being brought from one language to another. That is deception.

The answer is clear. No confusion here (1 Corinthians 14:33). Either God preserved His Word to us, or He lied. See Psalms 12:6-7 again. Read it slowly. Believe God.

God’s Word was perfectly translated in the King James Bible according to the foretold purpose of God. God’s Word is Inspired by Him and Preserved by Him.

Pride is the root sin that refuses to believe God kept His promise to preserve His Word, in tact to us (Psalms 12:6-7).

Pride wants to be able to manipulate things to fit its own self-serving agenda. Pride is rebellious, doing its own thing in lieu of doing God’s will.

Pride-filled rebels who want to arrogantly decide what truth is for themselves, instead of humble adhering to the words of our Maker, refuse to believe God’s Word is pure and perfectly preserved. Like lucifer, their father, they have their own agenda and will perish. This is why so many love the new, the corrupted fake news “bibles” of our day.

“Well, for me it has to be ALL or NOTHING. If I can’t have faith in the Word of God being pure and perfect, there is NOTHING to believe. How would we know which part is true and which is false? I would have to make up my own beliefs…and end up in Hell!” Debbie Lord

Do we or do we not have God’s Word in our language, English?

Deceived people can be seen regurgitating lies such as “if you want to be accurate study the original languages (Hebrew, Greek), original words and meanings.” This seems to come from those who are wise in their own eyes and want to be considered “deep” and/or desire to be able to manipulate the meaning of Scripture. They do not wish to simply learn of God in their own language.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:5-7

Yet God told us that He preserved His Word to us in our own language (Psalms 12:6-7). To say we can’t understand God’s Word in our own language and need the original languages would mean that no one can know God and His Word without going to learn those 2 now dead languages. We must cease peddling this lie and indictment against the LORD.

Eric Martini writes:

“I don’t need to learn Hebrew or Greek in order to understand God’s Word. I trust the Holy Spirit’s leadership of the translators of the King James Bible as God fulfilled His promise to preserve His Word to us in our language (Psalms 12:6-7). There’s much more behind why I use the KJB from my years of studies. The Word for Occult means hidden. So why would I have to learn Hebrew to get a secret understanding of what God is saying? God gave me exactly what He wants me to know in my own language. I don’t need to learn Hebrew. The enemy wants us to think we have to learn Hebrew and Greek in order to give one word many possible shades of meanings. Before you know it one person can say the Hebrew means this. The other person will say nope it means that. This is all a tactic to change doctrine. I trust the preservation of Scripture by the Holy Spirit who promised to do just that and God is not a liar! There is a much bigger subtle issue going on that many men have found out. For example, Jacob Prasch is so obsessed with the Hebrew he’s now mixing God’s Word with talmudic Judaism. So much for knowing Hebrew. Look where it got Jacob Prasch – he’s apostate.” | Jacob Prasch Exposed: Metatron Deception Busted

Do We Have God’s Word or Do You Need to Know the Original Languages?

If we DO have His Word, did He intend for us not to be able to understand HIS own Word in our language? What would be the use of Him having kept His promise to give us His Word in our language if we couldn’t understand it? | Bible Agnostics Exposed

God only ordained one Bible for our language. No other Bible was needed in English when the LORD gave us the King James Bible. Satan flooded the market with his counterfeit “bibles” peddled by his agents working within.

Some people don’t want there to be the real Word of God because if they know God really did give us His Word, and preserved it for us today, then they are accountable. And, personal responsibility, accountability is a plague to be avoided by un-repentant hell bound counterfeits.

Recently, when interacting with a man on Bible versions, he said: “I would just love to get my hands on a first century Bible I think that would be cool.”

REPLY:

No need to brother. GOD kept His promise to preserve His Word to us in this generation – Read Ps 12:6-7. Also, it’s SATAN who casts doubt on whether we really have God’s Word today. It’s Satan who is the liar (John 8:44). The King James Bible is the fulfillment of God to the English speaking peoples of the world.

WHENEVER you hear some wolf reading the King James Bible say “well, a better translation would be”, that’s your clue to rebuke that arrogant devil!

The King James Bible is the perfect preserved Word of God for the English speaking people (Psalms 12:6-7). As is always the case, God kept His promise perfectly. The King James Bible cannot and will not be improved and anyone pretending such is a fraud.

IF you believe the demonic notion that somehow God Almighty dropped the ball and didn’t follow all the way through with giving this generation His very Word, you are a Bible agnostic. You are calling God a liar (Psalms 12:6-7). Bible Agnostics Exposed

Those who don’t believe God could or did preserve His Word are unbelieving, faithless – and openly call God a liar! One disciple captures this truth when he writes:

“Jesus (from what we know) spoke Aramaic. But that has no bearing on anything. What language did Adam speak? What language did Job speak? Whatever language they spoke, God could TRANSLATE PERFECTLY to them so that they would get the EXACT WORDS that He wanted delivered. Do you not believe that He who bore our sins, healed the blind and raised the dead can deliver a perfect Word?”

SO MANY clueless frauds, amateurs, arrogantly claiming to be the authority on the Bible. Very few of them care to learn a few things. They insist they know it all when they are completely ignorant of the truth about God’s Word and how He kept His promise to preserve it to us in our language (Psalms 12:6-7). This reveals some serious depth of darkness these people are in. If they are casting doubt on God’s Word, they are under the power of SATAN who’s the first one to cast doubt on God’s Word (Genesis 3:1). And, we “know them by their FRUIT.” (Matthew 7:16, 20) True repentance needed.

WHEN someone casts doubt on God’s Word, in any way, they reveal they are not obeying God’s Word and refuse to. They are unrepentant (John 3:19-21; 8:47).

IF God’s Word doesn’t matter to you it could only be due to God Himself not mattering to you. If you have a King James Bible you have God’s Authentic Word in your own language and not a cheap counterfeit from the enemy of Christ and all souls.

Beware of those who want to refer to and rely upon the Hebrew and Greek because they simply do not like what the Bible, the Word of God says, in English, in their own language. They don’t believe God preserved His perfect Word to us in English – as He promised to do (Pslams 12:6-7). Many of them learned this in their vatican infiltrated seminaries and “bible” colleges. They were taught, not to believe, but rather to question God, to question His words – and we know where that comes from when we read Genesis 3:1, the serpent, Satan himself – the first to cast doubt upon and question God’s Word/words.

Learn Hebrew and Greek??? WHAT kind of a God would make/want people to not be able to understand HIS Word preserved in their own language and therefore make them have to go learn to read and write 2 now dead, foreign languages (Hebrew and Greek)? NOT the God of the Bible – who promised to preserve and make understandable His Word to us in our own language! (Psalms 12:6-7)

WHY would God have gone through the trouble of keeping His own promise to have His Word translated into our language if we weren’t going to be able to understand it in our own language? THAT is an indictment against the Almighty and some are foolishly making such an indictment.

LIFE CHANGING! No true Christian can grow in the grace of God as HE intends without pure, organic divine nutrition which is the preserved Word of God to the English speaking peoples, the King James Bible. This is something I want to encourage you to learn…. fascinating truth. The promise of God to us in Psalms 12:6-7.

God sovereignly made sure everything He wanted in His Word, the Bible, is there. Beware of those who cast doubt on this by their “lost books” notion.

The idea that there are ANY lost books is pure fiction and just another lie of Satan to make believers think they don’t have everything they need, that God shorted them (see Genesis 3:1). Satan is always the one casting doubt on God’s Word. Jesus says Satan is the one who “taketh away the word.” (Mark 4:15) This is not only laughable, it’s an indictment against a Holy God. GOD oversaw HIS cannon of Holy Scripture and decided it would contain 66 books. God’s Word assures us that “ALLLLLLL things that pertain unto life and godliness” are found in the “exceeding great and precious promises” of His written Word which we have in the King James Bible. Read 2 Peter 1:3-4 and 19-21 and Psalms 12:6-7.

God promised to preserve His Word to all generations and that would clearly mean the Word we have is divinely inspired with nothing lost. If you don’t believe that God has given us His Word in our day, you are calling God a liar and currently an agnostic which perhaps means you are not accountable to God in your life and so don’t want to believe we really have His Word today. Some wish to excuse their own sin by saying we don’t have God’s Word and surmise therefore that we are not accountable. Isn’t this the same principle of the driver who is pulled over for speeding, denying to the officer that there was a speed limit sign? We all know that won’t fly. – “they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)

Recently someone sent me a post that pretended to prove that the King James Bible is not God’s exclusive Word for the English speaking peoples. The first sentence gave away their erroneous position. The writer was saying that only the original manuscripts were inspired which is an unmitigated lie that denies that God kept His Word, His promise to preserve His Word to us – which transcends language (Psalms 12:6-7) This is what we call Bible agnosticism – where some people believe that God exists and yet is not active in the affairs of men, and has basically forsaken His creation. They claim He lied by not preserving His Word to us in our language as He specifically promised to do (Psalms 12:6-7). Ridiculous.

No need to read the ancient manuscripts – because God promised to preserve His Word to us in our language and He did in the KJB (Ps 12:6-7). With all due respect, did you know the BLOOD you claim to be washed in is removed from Colossians 1:14. Is that okay with you? 4 Verse KJB Comparison

Sherry Todd writes:

“The King James Bible is the very Word of God. You can reject it if you choose. I’m not going to. Didn’t turn out too well for king Saul did it? Rejecting the Word of the Lord brings dire consequences. No thanks. So you claim that the original text are perfect but not our Bible in English? Do you realize that you are saying that God decided that none of us  today should have the incorruptible Word? Instead He gave us partial truths and is hiding His Word from us? Not. And you came to this conclusion how? You had to reject many verses to come to that conclusion including the direct promise of God in Psalms 12:6-7 to preserve His Word to all generations – that includes us! ‘God is not a man, that he should lie.’ (Numbers 23:19)”

—- IF PEOPLE can somehow convince themselves to think that God’s Word is not perfect and that most of it was “lost in translation,” they think they are somehow free to live as they wish or not truly die to self and conform to Christ in the daily cross. Self-idolatry and rebellion lie at the inner root of this. These are what some call “Bible agnostics.” Bible agnostics are those who believe that God gave us His Word originally but didn’t care enough to preside over the translation of it into our language …. as if to say the LORD is not still actively involved in His creation and the protection and blessing of His people, which is completely false and an evil indictment against the Almighty. This would be to say that God has changed and also that He doesn’t care about His own people today. Pure satanic lies. These people have bought the lie of Satan who was the first to cast doubt on God’s Word when he said “Hath God said?” (Genesis 3:1) In other words, did God REALLY mean that? Well, of course God meant what He had stated and booted the man and woman from His presence (the Garden) when they sinned (Genesis 3). Satan is today still doing this same exact thing by casting doubt on the perfect work of God who has preserved His Word for us (the English speaking people) in the King James Bible as He promised He’d do (Psalms 12:6-7). It’s not so much about the King James Bible as much as the manuscripts from which they came. The King James Bible comes from the Majority manuscripts while all the new versions were intentionally taken from the Catholic corrupted and controlled manuscripts (by satanic design). If you read a new version, you are reading a Catholic “bible.”

James Sanford writes:

“How can you be so blind on the issue of Bible preservation? Modern translations are the Catholic Church’s means to ‘divide and conquer’ Bible believing Christianity, and the reason (Isa. 1:18) for us being in the end times of apostasy. Paul said to Timothy, in verse one of chapter four, ‘…in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.’ Where do you suppose these doctrines of devils, and confusion, come from? I could go on and on, but let the King James speak for itself: ‘For we are not as many which corrupt the word of God…’ (2 Cor. 2:17a)”

“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Psalms 138:2

Here’s how we know the new versions are corrupt – because God does not change and they changed His Word. “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” (Mark 13:31) This is another verse divinely guaranteeing preservation!

God’s Word is Inspired and Preserved. The divine Word He gave to us is not only inspired but also preserved by Him. Did the LORD just inspire His Word and then walk away? Are we agnostic? He not only inspired but also preserved His written Word to mankind so we could know and follow Him and be protected from His enemies (Psalms 12:6-7). It’s Satan himself and his human agents, who have warred against God’s Word.

Please never question or correct the Authorized Bible…. It is God’s preserved Word for the English speaking people of His world (Ps 12:6-7). It’s our understanding that lacks, never God’s Word. As we continue to study the full counsel of His Word all things come clear.

Arrogant King James Bible Correctors Rebuked

Most believe the Bible is divinely inspired and that’s true and yet, many believe God somehow dropped the ball and forgot about subsequent generations. Is this true? Let’s reason according to the Word.

So, since all versions of the Bible are different, are we to believe they are all inspired and preserved?

Tampering with God’s Word distorts the perfect image of Jesus Christ because He has chosen to be revealed to the hearts of men by His Word as taught by His written Word. Changing those words He inspired corrupts the message and the image of Christ revealed through that communication.

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they (the Scriptures) ARE they which testify of me.” John 5:39

God Himself told us that He reveals Himself to us through His written Word (Luke 24:44; John 5:39-40; 20:31, etc.).  And, He further told us that His will and wisdom are synonymous with His written Word (Psalms 119:105, etc.).

The Message and amplified “Bibles” are where sinful man inserted his own thoughts into the text and then called it God’s Word … in my opinion, we are to simply accept that God kept His Word; that He: 1) inspired His Word to us (2 Timothy 3:16) and, that He also “preserved” His Word to our generation (Psalms 12:6-7). That preserved Word is clearly the King James Bible.

AS WAS FORETOLD (REVELATION 12:7-12), SATAN HAS RELEASED HIS FURY (WRATH) AGAINST THE LORD AND MANKIND WITH THESE CORRUPT VERSIONS THAT ARE WEAKENING, SICKENING, AND MISLEADING MILLIONS WHO VAINLY THINK THEY HAVE AND ARE READING GOD’S WORD IN THESE MODERN fake news FAIRY TALE “bible” VERSIONS.

GOD’S WORD IS …

INSPIRED

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16

PRESERVED

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Psalms 12:6-7

“purified seven times” – In specific, perfect fulfillment of His promise, the KJB is the 7th Bible in the lineage of English language Bible, which began with the Gothic language in the first century which is the beginning of what is now the English language.

God’s Word is Inspired by Him and Preserved by Him, Yes God kept His Promise to Preserve His Word to Our Generation.

To say that God inspired His written Word (2 Timothy 3:16) and then to turn around and say He didn’t preserve those Holy Scriptures (Psalms 12:6-7), is a blasphemous indictment against Him. To say such is to call the LORD a liar because He promised to preserve His Word to our generation. It also says that God has respect of persons while His Word says “There is no respect of persons with God.” (Romans 2:11) So there is yet another accusation against the Almighty – another instance in which He is being called a liar. To insinuate that the LORD cared for earlier generations of people more than now is a dangerous undertaking.

We can know that if God inspired His Word He also preserved it to our generation. He kept His promise and yet there is a great deceiver working among men and his human emissaries. All the English versions of the Bible cannot possibly be divinely inspired. They are clearly and demonstratively different in word and doctrine. So where should one draw the line? For me, the decision is simple. The King James Bible is God’s preserved Word to the English speaking world. The corruption in the new versions is nothing more than a catalyst for my heart to be grateful to our LORD for giving us His true Word. I have never been so thankful to Him for inspiring and preserving His written Word to us so that we can know Him, remain in Him, and be delivered from the evil wiles of Satan.

It’s a dangerous undertaking to insert our own thoughts into the text of the Bible and then say it’s the Bible … those men are in severe trouble who have even slightly altered the very Word of God (Rev 22:18-19).

Do you want to be a part of a cursed thing?

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18-19

WHY DID THE LORD GIVE US HIS WRITTEN WORD?

So We May Know Him

— We have God’s written Word in order to be able to have that relationship with the LORD – otherwise we could not know Him.

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” John 20:31

That written Word has been displaced by these corrupted versions of God’s Word and they are misleading many. This is an integral part of the great falling away (great apostasy). See 2 Thessalonians 2.

The Bible tells us that the Holy Scriptures were not given to us by the will of mere men – “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21)

“No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” (2 Peter 1:21) – We can only prayerfully and according to the full counsel of Scripture give the sense of the Holy Scriptures (Nehemiah 8:8; Isaiah 28:10, 13; 1 Corinthians 2:13) (help them understand what Scripture states) but have no license to insert our thoughts into the text and claim it’s divinely inspired. God has never and will never grant any mere human being such a place. We have the Bible, which contains the divinely inspired Holy Scriptures “holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:21) Those involved in the new versions are “men of corrupt minds” with great audacity of rebellion.

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:20-21

Where Does Mankind Obtain the Knowledge of the LORD His God and Maker?

How do we know about Jesus who died for us? By His Word. Where is John 3:16? In the Qur’an or the Bible? That being true, then we must realize that the enemy of Christ has corrupted His Words and then called it His Word.

The presence of the LORD is important but following His Word is more important … Then, upon that truth and protected by it, we can experience His presence and know it’s Him and not a devil.

His written Word is the very lamp unto our feet and light unto our paths so we will not be misled by a false gospel or another spirit.

The longest chapter in the Bible is on His written Word. This further underscores the importance He places on His written Word and hence the severe judgment upon those who would so much as slightly tamper with it. He has magnified His written Word even above His name (Psalms 138:2).

Jesus says that the Holy Spirit is the Teacher and if we simply put forth the pure Word of God, He will teach them (John 14:26; 16:13; 1 John 2:20; 27).

“So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense (understanding, wisdom), and caused them to understand the reading.” Nehemiah 8:8

Note here that the elders of Israel, after and while reading directly from the Holy Scriptures – “caused them to understand the reading.” Causing folk to peer into, pay attention to, and read the Holy Word and also helping them understand what it’s communicating is divinely sanctioned in the important passage. There is much insight here. Notice that the elders humbly read the Word of God. They did nothing to insert their own thoughts, to question the text, to add to it or take from it, or to change the text.

Placing a commentary in the margin next to the Bible with the earnest goal of helping the reader understand what the Scriptures are saying is a form of giving “the sense” of what is being communicated by the LORD. This is in order to help the reader understand the text and never to take them outside of the text. Yet that’s as far as man is given license to go. Going further is a violation of Revelation 22:18-19 where the LORD pronounces eternal condemnation upon any mere man who would tamper with (add to or take away from) His written Word. The new versions are completely corrupted by man’s contaminating thoughts that were audaciously inserted into the text of Scripture.

Example of Attacks Against God in the New Versions:

—- IN JOHN 3:16 THE NIV (not inspired version) says: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” NOTE that supposedly referring to Jesus, saying that He is the “one and only Son.” Yet is this correct? No. This is a contradiction of other verses in the New Testament where we are said to be “the sons of God” and so how could Jesus be the “one and only Son”? More importantly, this idea purposely replaces the Bible doctrine of the virgin birth which is an essential to being saved. Jesus Christ was the only One in all of history to be born of a virgin – “Begotten of God” In the King James Bible, God’s pure and preserved Word says: “he gave his only begotten Son.” Jesus was the only begotten Son of God …the only One whom the Father brought through a virgin as a sign that He is the Messiah and so His blood was not contaminated by a sinful man (father) See Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7 …. The divine heavenly Father was His Father … With the exception of Adam who was made of the dust of the earth, Jesus was the only sinless human ever born and of course we know He was more than human – He was and is and will always be God Almighty (Revelation 1:8). This is an attack on a cardinal doctrine of the Christian faith and just one more of thousands of attacks against the LORD in the new versions of the Bible which were translated from corrupt manuscripts. More on this here: Ridiculous King James Bible Corrections

QUESTION ASKED:

“So what about everyone before kjv? They didn’t have authoritative scripture? Are you suggesting King James had the right message and Paul and James and John and everyone else, like Geneva Bible were wrong? Also where did the KJV get the manuscript, before it was a book?”

REPLY:

Of course there was authoritative Scripture before the KJB. The KJB comes from the preserved manuscripts instead of the lineage of corrupt manuscripts which is where the enemy got his new version “bibles.” It’s obvious which English Bible is the preserved Word of God for the English speaking peoples – in keeping with the promise God gave in Ps 12:6-7. Comparing verses side by side between the KJB and the new “bibles” makes it more than obvious that the KJB is God’s Word.  Lineage of the Corrupt Manuscripts

MESSAGE RECEIVED:

“What is our language and when do you see that promise? The Lord promised to preserve His Word. His Word is for a people of all nations and tribes and tongues so what makes you assume that English was the final language the Bible would be in?”

REPLY:

Not at all. Common misconception. There are 2 lines of manuscripts – 1 of God (Majority Text) and 1 of Satan (appr 2-3% altered manuscripts). So it’s not about the English language but rather the underlying manuscripts. Appr. 98% of all the manuscripts in existence agree. The ones that differ are those which were perverted by evil men. All the new version “bibles” comes from the corrupted lineage of manuscripts. Yet, if you are a man of truth, a simple side-by-side comparison will clear things up with no need to know about he manuscripts. I don’t mean to insinuate that you aren’t a God fearing man and yet, it’s clear that you should do a bit of investigating. Lineage of the Modern Corrupt Versions | 4 Verse Comparison

MESSAGE RECEIVED:

“The original text was Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. Not 16th Century English. Just sayin'”

REPLY:

Hello. Not a good answer. Here’s why…. English was at it’s highest form in previous centuries (note in the Scriptures the term “holy and profane” where profane means common). God’s Word was never to be reduced to the common language especially when the gullible have been taught that it’s “easier to understand” yet not told that the new “bibles” stripped and perverted volumes of God’s Word). Hebrew and Greed are dead languages (not growing)…. the LORD promised to preserve His Word to us in our language, did He not? Did He lie? Read Ps 12:6-7.

MESSAGE RECEIVED:

“If one has the other translations at their finger tips, and we do in this internet age, we owe it to ourselves to do comparisons and word studies, since we are easily able to now. We can go to the original Greek and Hebrew and really study deeply. I have discovered our well loved King James has used words that we don’t use anymore in English or the meaning has changed and when we read it is not giving today’s reader the exact meaning… so to be able to compare is best if you are a Bible student doing Bible study. Otherwise the Holy Spirit is with us when we study and pray and you will get what you need from the King James.” Michelle

REPLY:

Hi Michelle. Myself and many others have no respect for the other versions due to their butchering of God’s Word … for example, look at this comparison … frightening in light of what Jesus warned of in Revelation 22:18-19 …  KJV vs. NIV

KNOWING Hebrew and Greek is NOT the most reliable way to understand God’s Word. In fact, you don’t even need it. And, the dupes running around saying you have to know Hebrew and Greek to understand the Word, can’t speak or write in Hebrew or Greek. Laughable. The Bible tell us how to understand the Bible!

Jesus told us that the divine Person of the Holy Spirit is our Teacher – not the Greek or Hebrew (original languages) (John 14:26; 16:13-14; 1 John 2:20, 27, etc.). Yes it’s good to look at the Hebrew and Greek here and there but His Word in our language, which He preserved (Psalms 12:6-7) and Himself are more than able to teach us. In fact, the very best way to learn is actually a system He put in His Word – line upon line learning – stacking Precept upon Precept (Isaiah 28:10, 13; 1 Corinthians 2:13). Thoroughly studying a topic by searching and stacking (collating) Scripture upon Scripture which speaks of that subject you are peering into, is the ultimate method to apprehend the mind of Christ on any topic … Not the original languages.

The good news is that we have God’s preserved Word and have no need to look further but rather to simply peer deeper into it. The new versions are corrupt and in my opinion should be shunned and discarded as any type of source. The King James Bible is a direct translation into the English language. The new version editors used “dynamic equivalence” which means they used/inserted their own thoughts. That’s a no-no and forbidden by God (Revelation 2:18-19). Correcting God’s Word is something I will not agree with. Show us where the KJB misses it? … the KJB uses Sodom and sodomy. Only the new versions use toned down, sin-justifying language to lessen conviction upon the hearts of sinners. Sodom was the city God judged for the specific sin of men with men. What KJB word can you not personally look up in the Hebrew and Greek to learn a bit further what it means? Do you have access to Webster’s dictionary (especially the older one)? It’s online.

The blessed brothers and sisters on the links I posted above have done detailed research for our benefit to uncover the dark, diabolical scheme of Satan to pervert the Word of our God. Please look at them … also Gail Riplinger’s books are very enlightening on this topic … there are many others also. AVpublications.com

Lamar Tucker notes:

“THE KING JAMES BIBLE UNDER ATTACK

We now have ‘educated’ idiots trying to discredit the Bible because as they claim it does not fit into or translate the way they think it should have been. The Bible does NOT make mistakes. IF one studies the Bible as a whole they will always find that God intended and did supply the reason for everything written. God knew that these so called scholars would come and he supplied a pure Language for the Bible to be translated in…The English Language.

Zephaniah 3 9 ‘For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.’”

FEEDBACK:

“I stopped reading the NIV about 3 years ago, I have grown so much as a believer since reading the KJV (the true word of God) but until it is shown for what it is (a counterfeit) by standing it up next to the KJV, it is hard to know a counterfeit on its own without comparison. The more I looked into it, the more I see the force behind the NIV…Satan. God bless you brother, the more brothers and sisters get to know the difference the better.

I never knew why was I was not growing, or learning as a believer till i realized it was what I was putting inside me spiritually as spiritual food, I wouldn’t say the NIV is poison, it just has no nutritional value, this is what Satan wants. He knows he can’t stop people reading the Bible, so he invented one of his own…NEW INVENTED VERSION. Look how many churches read from it!…And look at the state of the modern church!!” T. | Bible Versions

10 Clues Your Love for God has Waxed Cold [podcast]

The wise virgin saints are keeping their lamps full of divine oil, they are taking personal responsibility for their own spiritual state with Christ the great and soon coming Bridegroom. Read Matthew 25:1-13.

“The Love of Many Shall Wax Cold”

“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:10-14

Did you notice in verse 14 that those who hot for Jesus are participating in the preaching of His Word to the end of the earth (Mark 16:15).

Anyone not devouring God’s Word daily is falling away, is not enduring to the end, is choosing the let their love for Jesus wax cold, and on the wrong, the losing end of this prophecy Jesus gave here on record in Matthew 24:10-14.

“I will spue (vomit, reject) thee out of my mouth”

“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:16-17

Praying God will help you love Him more (Matthew 22:37-40). It really all boils down to WHO we love most. THAT is exactly who we are serving (Romans 6:16).

Loving God is everything as far as what’s in our control – because it’s a choice, daily, and will determine if one remains in Christ to the end.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

“Thou hast left thy first love”

“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” Revelation 2:4-5

1. When you are choosing not to spend quality time with God in prayer each and every morning… When you are choosing not to spend quality time with God in His Word each and every morning (Luke 9:23-24; 1 Chronicles 16:11).

2. When your love for God’s people is being reduced instead of increased (Philippians 2:12-13; 1 John 5:1) Marks of the True Christian …. “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” (Romans 12:9-11) See John 13:35.

“And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.” Luke 8:20-21

“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” 1 John 3:14

“Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.” 1 John 5:1

Reading 1 Corinthians 13 today will refresh your heart and mind on the divine importance placed upon LOVE.

3. You are not denying self and not taking up the cross daily (Luke 9:23-24; 19:27; Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:3, etc.).

4. You aren’t communicating the light of truth to others because you no longer seek or fear the LORD and so His divine virtue isn’t teeming in and flowing out of you. Your cup no longer runs over but instead is running empty (Psalms 23). You have a lampshade over the light and are not letting His light shine in and through your life and words… “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 58:1)

5. You live in fear instead of faith and the joy of being with Jesus (Luke 21:28; 1 John 4:16-18; Proverbs 28:1; Psalms 2:11).

6. You preach promises and not conditions…following the apostate modern church and you don’t preach the cardinal doctrines of the original Gospel which we are commanded to “earnest contend for.” (Jude 3) You begin meditating on and living by trends instead of truth (Jeremiah 9:3; 2 Timothy 4:2-4; Philippians 4:8; Romans 12:1-2).

7. You have little or no true fellowship with other born- again Bible believing disciples of Jesus as is defined in God’s Word and not by the modern church world (Acts 2:42).

The Word of God is to run rich, to be abundant among God’s people … “In all wisdom” and “all in the name of the Lord Jesus”“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” (Colossians 3:16-17)

8. You know you are backsliding when your main thrust and identity become politics, not the work of the Gospel. YOU are a blood bought disciple of Jesus, not a conservative. You are a Bible believing follower of Christ (Luke 9:62; Galatians 6:14).

9. When you love this world…..When you spend more time and money on hobbies and the things of this fleeting world than you do on attending to knowing, walking with the LORD and preparing to be used of Him (Mark 4:17-19; 1 John 2:15; James 4:4).

10. When you spend more money on trash and trinkets then helping the work of the One you claim to love and the poor. You know you are backslidden when you are not obeying God with what He’s placing in your temporal possession. He shall bring you into full account for this.

Regrettably, people will give their money to any and every pleasure under the sun but make excuses when the opportunity to support the work of the One they claim to love and serve. The Holy Spirit foretold that in the final days before the return of Jesus, there would be those with a mere “form of godliness”, “men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,” and “lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” (2 Timothy 3:1-7) According to the LORD, one of the main ways to measure our true love for Him or lack thereof, is by peering into our personal stewardship of the resources He’s placed into our temporary possession. Luke 12 and 16 offer a plethora of divine wisdom and warning concerning the judgment to come, the judgment we shall endure in giving account for our stewardship in this life.

The clear proof that God is working in our lives, that we are truly following Jesus, is that we are becoming less and less vested in this fleeting, fallen world (James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17). And that we, our good works, our giving are more and more invested in eternity – in the eternal kingdom of Christ, laying up treasures in Heaven, sending them before us, relinquishing the things of this world for the glory of God – putting them to work for the eternal Gospel of Christ – for saints to be fed and equipped and the lost to hear the Word of God (Matt. 6:19-21).

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:19-24

To underscore the importance of stewardship, we should realize that 16 of our LORD’s 38 parables involved stewardship. Those who now do not wish to face and confront this truth, are apparently those who are in the most need of hearing it.

PRAYER: Father I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. Please cause my conscience to be super sensitive to Your conviction, Your leading, and to evade all that defiles me in Your holy eyes, sin. Here and now I submit my life afresh to You dear LORD. You must increase but I must decrease. I am crucified with Christ and thank You for conforming me to His holy image. I am all Yours LORD and thank You that You are all mine. I love You Jesus. Please make me one with You and the Father and with Your beloved body. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Favorite Eternal Security “Proof” Text? [podcast]

Excerpt from the book Lie of the Ages

Does John 10:27-29 Prove “Eternal Security”?

WHO are Jesus’ Sheep? Defined by, in God’s Word.

John 10:27-29

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” ~ John 10:27-29

Verse 27 is the condition necessary to appropriate the promises of verses 28-29.

Those who believe that a man can never lose his salvation, use this John 10:28-29 text but ignore the prerequisite, the divinely given condition – v27. Watch this:

Firstly, in this passage Jesus identifies those sheep whom He makes the security promise to. He says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” In this we see one part divine and two parts the responsibility of the individual:

  • “I know them”—the divine part toward those who are truly in Christ, presently abiding (v. 27)
  • Those who are His sheep “hear” His “voice” and “follow” Him—the individual’s responsibility (v. 27)

The promise to be kept is a conditional promise which requires that we choose to continue to hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27-29). Many today wrongly detach our LORD’s words in verse 27 from verses 28-29. In doing so, they perpetrate their “eternal security” mythology.

The problem for the eternal securists is that v27 has been intentionally been ignored…. It’s the actual condition Jesus gives for receiving the assurance promises He then gives in v28-29.

Those who seek to spread the “once saved always saved” heresy use John 10:28-29 to their advantage and conveniently ignore the preceding words of Christ in verse 27. Verses 28-29 are promises of security to those who have been genuinely born again and are currently abiding in Christ – hearing His voice and following Him (John 15:1-6). Many ignore the previous qualifying words (v. 27) of Jesus where Christ tells us that only those who are hearing His voice and following Him are promised that they are secure and will never perish. There is a condition to being secure in Christ—knowing Him—which requires continuing to abide in Him, hear His voice and follow Him (see also John 15).

“Jesus will neither leave us nor forsake us, but we can leave and forsake Him by choosing our sins OVER His love, grace and mercy!” Dino Filardo

Eternal securists have been taught to selectively interpret Scripture while ignoring mountains of Bible truth, in order to come to a predetermined conclusion.

Many a false teacher has built his own ministry empire dishonestly peddling this passage. Take a closer look. Anchor the promise to be kept in verses 28-29 on verse 27 where Jesus identifies who His sheep are – those who hear and continue to hear His voice and continue to follow Him (present tense). The promise to be kept is a glorious and yet conditional promise which requires that the individual recipient of the salvation gift of God chooses to continue to hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27-29). Many today wrongly detach our LORD’s words in verse 27 from verses 28-29 of John 10. In doing so, they perpetrate their “eternal security” or otherwise called “once saved always saved” mythology. Beware as this was the first lie Satan told mankind, which led to the fall (Genesis 2:17; 3:4).

Instead of synthesizing the whole of Scripture, false teachers isolate certain verses for their own self-serving agenda and purpose (2 Corinthians 2:17, etc.).

The sheep Jesus’ promises are going to be kept are those who endure to the end, abide (remain) with Him (John 15:1-6). The Great Shepherd defines His sheep as those who are presently hearing His voice and following Him (present tense). John 10:27-29

It’s not difficult to mislead people in the direction of the sinful nature of their hearts – because then they can evade truly repenting which is a major life change and necessity for salvation. This is why Paul foretold of this hour and how men would “heap to themselves (false) teachers having itching ears.” (2 Timothy 4:3) “Itching ears” here represents unrepentant hearts.

OSAS people make a vain attempt at redefining the words of Scripture to fit their own self-serving agenda of lukewarmness, cross-less rebellion. For example they hyper-focus on “eternal” in the term “eternal life” while intentionally refusing to synthesize the whole of what Scripture states. They hyper-focus on the word “gift” and teach that a gift could never be lost which the rest of Scripture does not agree with. They then take the word “sealed” and make it to be permanent which it cannot possibly be because the same Greek word for “sealed” is used of Jesus’ tomb which we all know was NOT permanently sealed (Matthew 27:66). In this they bear false witness against the LORD and act like some Scriptures are more divinely inspired than others. This practice reveals the evil and deceit of their own hearts. Not just some Scripture in the Bible but rather “ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God…” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) It must all be synthesized, put together, compared (1 Corinthians 2:13). Error will result in the hearts and lives of those who do not search, study, and revere “ALL scripture” in God’s Word.

Eternal security deceivers don’t want to talk about Bible verses that contradict and expose their proof texts. You see, they don’t want to get awaken by the truth to the scam they’ve bought into. The wolves who they gullibly believe instead of God’s Word, taught them to cry “context, context” all while THEY are the beguilers who are taking Scripture out of context. Just like the demonic democrats in America, they accuse their adversaries of the exact thing THEY themselves are guilty of (Romans 2:1-3).

YOU are defending OSAS and yet you gave no Bible verses? Self-deception. If “once saved always saved” were true, WHY O WHY didn’t God tell us? Such a term, phrase, or concept appear no where in Scripture and the verses you use to “prove” it are taken out of their context. OSAS is undeniably the very first lie Satan ever told and it led to the fall of mankind from a HOLY God (Genesis 2:17; 3:4). If OSAS isn’t a doctrine of devils, nothing is! (1 Timothy 4:1-2)

Is the unchanging, Almighty God no longer “Holy, holy, holy” now that He sent His only begotten Son? (Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8) If He’s still holy, no unrepentant person with sin will enter His holy Heaven (Revelation 21:8, 27, etc.).

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14

HOW is it that so many treat the words of JESUS recorded in John 10 more divinely authoritative than the words of JESUS recorded in John 15? False teachers.

Most of the dupes who cite John 10:28-29 to “prove” they can never lose their salvation, 1. Don’t even know what the preceding verse says (v27), and 2. Have no clue what JESUS says in John 15:6.

“If a man abide (remain) not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6

In this John 10 passage used by the unconditional eternal security crew to peddle their wares, some neglect to look closely at verse 27 to see who Jesus was specifically speaking to when He promised “they shall never perish.” “They” refers to those who “hear my voice” and “follow me.” According to verse 27 the promise of eternal security is conditional. Assurance of salvation is only to those who are presently following Christ. In verse 27 we learn that protection from judgment to come is only to those who are currently 1) hearing His voice, 2) known by Him, and 3) following Him. This is consistent with the message seen in the whole of Holy Writ.

“For if AFTER they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are AGAIN entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, AFTER they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit AGAIN; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” 2 Peter 2:20-22

WHO did Jesus say His true sheep are?

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (Jn. 10:27). According to these words of Christ, those who “know” Jesus and “follow” Him are given the promise that they will “never perish.” As long as the follower hears His voice and follows Him, they are assured “eternal life.” This is exactly what the Son of God taught just a few chapters later in John 15 where He says that if a branch that is in Him does not remain or abide in Him, that person will be cut off and cast into the fire (hell).

Those who abide or remain under the shadow of His holy and protective wing shall remain secure in Him (Ps. 91:1). The Good Shepherd here said: “Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” No man can pluck us out of His protection except ourselves by our own decisions. We who are abiding are protected from the snare of other men drawing us away as we remain walking with the Son of God. If you’re tucked, you won’t get plucked. If you’re not tucked under the wing of intimacy with Jesus, you will, can, and are likely to be plucked out of His holy hand by your own sinful unbelief. The LORD told us “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown” (Rev. 3:11).

It’s also notable that those who emphasize John 10 to convince themselves and others that they are “eternally secure”, don’t even know much less acknowledge the words of the Savior in John 15:1-6.

Telling.

“If a man abide (remain) not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6

Jesus taught repeatedly that some would not continue to follow Him (“abide”) and hear His voice and would consequently “fall away.” There is record of some who once believed and then stopped believing (Lk. 8:13; 13:23-30; Jn. 6:66; Acts 8:14-23).

Lie of the Ages (the book)

WHY do eternal securists get all upset when their fairy tale is exposed? Well, they are hiding behind the thin veneer of this heresy, feeling all secure, emboldened to live as they please, feeling assured in their lukewarmness and sin … denying Jesus instead of self, refusing to take up the cross that Jesus commanded all who would follow Him truly (Luke 9:23-24). Christ’s apostle Paul speaks of self-serving “enemies of the cross of Christ.” (Philippians 3:18-19) What’s behind this myth? The Psychology of Eternal Security [book]

Another Example of the Twisting of Scripture

The eternal securists seek to justify their OSAS heresy by misusing the following passage…. but in this Paul is speaking of those who go to Heaven, the judgment of saints, and not those who fell away and won’t be there because they will be in hell. They will not be present when this happens….

“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:13-15

One More….

Common Objection to Conditional Eternal Security….

“What about Romans 8:38-39 where it says nothing can separate us from the love of God?”

REPLY:

Simple: Notice the word LOVE not life. God will love us all the way into hell if we choose not to repent. His soul will even “weep in secret places for your pride” which comes before destruction (Jeremiah 13:17). The LORD is “Holy, holy, holy,” He’s just, and He will not ever coexist with sin. See the fall of lucifer (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:13-19; Luke 10:18). The wages of sin is still death and the LORD will damn every soul that dies in sin, with no exception (Psalms 5:4; Habakkuk 1:13; Isaiah 6:3; Romans 6:23; Revelation 4:8; 21:8; 22:11, etc.). Read Jesus’s parable of the prodigal son Lk 15. Did the father love and miss his son? Yes. Did the father (represents God) go chase him down? No. The son who departed had to choose to return. Much truth there. Speaking of Romans, read 11:20-22. Now read 2 Peter 2:20-22 and the book of Hebrews.

1 John 2:19 is often also utilized to “prove” eternal security. Not.

“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” 1 John 2:19

Interestingly, the word “never” does not appear in this verse above which is so often used to “prove” OSAS. Let’s read it again with an objective mind. And, also remember what Jesus says about the primary importance of His teaching of the seed and the soil, the sower and the Word:

“And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?” Mark 4:13

The honest student of the whole Counsel of God’s Word knows that numerous clear Bible truths reveal that a saved person can turn away from the LORD, so we know that the apostle John could not possibly be saying that a saved person could never depart from the LORD. In my opinion, this verse is the best argument the eternal security proponent has, yet it’s not enough. There must be two or three witnesses and not just one (2 Cor. 13:1). After a closer examination of this text, one will find that verse 19 does not teach or justify “once saved always saved.” When any one verse is taken to the exclusion of the whole Word of God, one will certainly misunderstand the doctrine of the LORD which can only be apprehended by “study.” (2 Tim. 2:15) This verse is like any other verse of Scripture – it must be taken in light of the entire Counsel of God. The context to be considered is 1 John 2:18-29).

In examining the context in which 1 John 2:19 is set, we see that false teachers whom John calls “many antichrists,” had come and were telling these believers that Jesus was not the Christ (v22).

Let’s look at verses 18 and 19 together:

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” 1 John 2:18-19

Note here that it is specifically of these “antichrists” that John speaks and says that “if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”

John was speaking of those who were once saved but then departed from the faith (1 Tim 4:1), they believed and then fell away (Luke 8:12-13) …. then departed from the believers in that fellowship.

Teddy Caldwell writes:

“OSAS insists that those are professing believers, but 1 John 2:18 says such people are antichrists. 1 John 2:22 says an antichrist is one who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Anyone who does that isn’t a believer and isn’t even trying to look like one.”

Concerning 1 John 2:19, Donald Stamps, in the Life in the Spirit Study Bible, writes:

“‘THEY WENT OUT FROM US.’ When the antichrists departed from their fellowship with true believers, they were not in a saving relationship with Christ. This allows for two possibilities: (1) They were never true believers to begin with, or (2) they had once been in a saving relationship with Christ but afterward abandoned their faith in Christ.”

Right here in verse 24 of this passage we see the doctrine of personal responsibility to “remain” in faithful obedience to the LORD or lose one’s place with God (1 Cor. 15:2; Gal. 6:9; Col. 1:23). This is a teaching found throughout Holy Writ – the divine requirement to stay saved or lose all in eternity, “suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” (Jude 7)

“Let that therefore abide (remain) in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. IF (denotes condition) that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.” 1 John 2:24-25

Verse 24 alone tells us that we cannot think that verse 19 means that someone who is at some point in right standing with God can never depart from Him and lose out. Also, verse 25 tells us that “eternal life” (not just rewards) is at stake and the promise contingent upon the believer abiding or remaining in that “which ye have heard from the beginning” which is the Gospel. “Eternal life” is assured as long as one is remaining rooted in Jesus Christ. This is the overwhelmingly consistent message of God’s Word.

In verse 26 John says “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.” Verse 19 is written about the deceivers who sought to “seduce” these disciples John was addressing and not of true believers.

With all of Scripture in consideration, we can conclude that 1 John 2:19 is a specific example and not a rule of doctrine.

If you truly wish to search out this matter, let me encourage you to closely examine, break down and study this entire text (1 Jn. 2:18-29). In order to ascertain truth, one must compare the verse in question with all other related Scriptures, beginning with the context in which the verse is set (Isa. 28:9-10; 1 Cor. 2:13).
