How do we know, from the Bible, that America as we know it, is over?

As the true saying goes, “Normal isn’t coming back but Jesus is!”

Why did Sodom and Gomorrah go down? What were the sins of Sodom that God cited as the reasons He rained down fire and brimstone upon them?

See Ezekiel 16:49-51.

The Sins of Sodom:

Sins Jerusalem cited for in Ezekiel 16:49-51:

“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. 51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.” Ezekiel 16:49-51 

• Pride (arrogance),
• Fulness of Bread (gluttony, hoarding),
• Abundance of Idleness (idle, lazy),
• did not help those in need due to preoccupation with self-worship (not generous in spreading God’s wealth to His people and work)
• haughty
• committed abomination (fornication)

AND you think a sinner who bows to mary statues is going to save this nation? THAT’s the problem – sin and the blindness it brings – due to loving darkness rather than light, refusal to truly repent (John 3:19-21). God sees it all including the 60 million innocent babies America has murdered while professing “Christians” live for the next thrill, self-indulgence. The people pretending to be Christ’s are exactly who 2 Timothy 3:1-13 is speaking of. They have a mere “form of godliness” and yet are “lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”

Those executing Christ’s Great Commission mandate can be viewed, seen as His true remnant. Everyone else is a counterfeit who lives to further self-indulge in this sinful world. They alone prove to be about the “Father’s business” which means they truly follow Jesus, they live crucified with Him – to serve, honor, worship, and obey their KING (Matthew 7:21; Luke 2:49).

Nothing is going to save America from the same sins and destruction that its sister Sodom perpetrated against Heaven.

JUST WHAT sins led Sodom to destruction? And it sexual sin and barely if at all referred to in the list….

“Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.” Proverbs 21:13

People who turn away their ears and eyes from the cries of the poor, hide their eyes from those in need, prove they are lukewarm at best, not trusting God, and what does that mean of their future? They shall be spued, vomited, rejected (Revelation 3:15-16).

“Oh but brother, you are making me feel guilty.” Good “godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation.” (2 Corinthians 7:10) Now you are playing the victim? Maybe you will repent before it’s too late, right? Maybe you will get right with God for real and therefore begin thinking about others, not yourself (1 Corinthians 10:24; Philippians 2:3-5). When God forgives us at the instant of rendered repentance, He refreshes us and begins removing the stony places of our hearts and granting a heart of flesh (Acts 3:19; Ezekiel 36:24-26).

“Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.” 1 Corinthians 10:24 

The Father and Jesus gave all to save the world, to save sinners (Luke 19:10; 1 Timothy 1:15; 2:4-6). In following Jesus, this is what we must do – to give, to unleash all that He’s put into our hands to see that the world around us hears His saving Gospel! (John 15:13)

And we wonder why America is over? So many would rather waste money for frivolity than to use it as a tool to bless.

Same sins as Sodom and Gomorrah ….. PFA and “neither did she strengthen (help) the hand of the poor and needy.”

America, Americans professing to be Christ’s have squandered their “freedom” to relish, to ruin, to over self-indulge in this world, the pleasures of this fleeting sinful world. As their incomes, their earthly treasure grew, they increased their standard if living and not their standard of giving.

WHY does God give wealth?

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

“Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.” Ephesians 4:28

God is watching the way each person is stewarding the resources He has and is affording them to tend to in this life (Mark 12:41-44). He will bring us into full accountability (Matthew 25:14-30).

“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love SERVE ONE ANOTHER.” Galatians 5:13

True followers of Jesus “serve one another” with what God gives them. They don’t use their wealth to emulate, to sin by exalting themselves using that fleeting wealth.

“As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.” 1 Peter 2:16

The very sins committed by the people of Sodom before God destroyed that city, were being committed by the LORD’s professing people in Ezekiel’s day, and are today being committed by those claiming to know the LORD in our day.

Read Jeremiah 18 concerning nations.

“7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;
8  If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
9  And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
10  If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.” Jeremiah 18:7-10

Here’s how we learn.

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” Romans 15:4

Learning from and lining up all things with the written Word. Those who don’t, will perish. What is Paul referring to here?

“Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”  1 Corinthians 10:11

America is over as we know it. Trump is not the answer. God is. And among other sins, America has murdered over 60 million innocent babies.

ALL who refuse to follow God’s stated order, who go the way of the world instead of the WORD, will be destroyed – they are rebels (Hosea 4:6).

“I know this world is not my home and am but a stranger and a pilgrim here (Hebrews 11:10, 13), and fully intend by God’s grace to be about our Father’s work. And yes, it is hard to watch this present world falling apart and admit and berate myself for the tug of wanting to live a Norman Rockwell life even in the midst of gross sin and evil. But since I don’t want to turn into a pillar of salt (be destroyed for looking back), I believe we can take into account the lamentation of Jesus over Jerusalem before her complete destruction (Matthew 23:37).  And yet, it had to happen. The Old Covenant had to come to an end before the New and better Covenant was revealed.” DL

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

We’ve always had access to the Bible, which is God’s Word. Yet we rejected it for religious teaching from mere men. We traded divine truth for psychobabble, sitcoms, and rock bands (music), and now we are seeing the judgment coming to fruition.

Why do we have the Bible?

“Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” 1 Corinthians 10:11

So the things recorded in the Bible, God’s Word, which happened to His people Israel, were by divine inspiration recorded for us – so we can learn from them.

“Those who don’t study and know history, are bound to repeat it.” unknown

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9

1. Those who claim to be God’s people are not carrying out the Great Commission Jesus commanded.

Today we have professing “Christians” who preach Trump and the replican party and yet you will never hear them preach Jesus – because they don’t know Him.

Jesus Speaks…….. watch exactly WHO the the Son of God/Bible says are really saved…. which means the vast majority of professing “Christians” are hell bound….

“Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.” Luke 12:8-9

ALL who do not confess Jesus to others prove they are ashamed of Him and will perish in the flames of hell. Counterfeits. – “trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;”

“These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you (they pretend to be on of the saved), feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;” Jude 12

The reason America will not be saved is due to the rebellion of those who claim to be Christ’s trying to save America instead of obeying Jesus and seeking to see the lost saved to Him.

What is is that we don’t understand about “Go ye”?

Have you notice that the more people seek to save America, the deeper the country declines.

The truth must be told.

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.” Acts 17:30

God’s people, those who claim to be His, those once saved (in the past) by Him…. Have not and are not repenting. If they were repenting, they’d be about the “Father’s business” which has at its heart, His Great Commission. But instead, most are seeking to patch up a sinking ship. This is why there are millions of dollars flowing into endeavors such as Jay Sekulow, Turning Point USA with Charlie Kirk, etc., …none of which are executing Christ’s Great Commission command.

WHOSE business are you about – the Father’s or your own? (Luke 2:49; Matthew 6:24)

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28-18-20

“15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:15-20

“And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” Luke 24:47

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” 2 Timothy 4:2

Christ commanded His own to “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

Are you personally participating or are you in rebellion?

“for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.” Romans 14:10

The Great Commission Jesus gave – and is holding you personally accountable to participate in.

Hoarding God’s Resources is Sin

“There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.” Proverbs 11:24-26

In the days of Haggai the prophet, etc., the unchanging God allowed His people to experience His hand of judgment (redemptive withdrawal) diminishing returns, a destroyed economy, poverty, pain, etc., due to their refusal to put Him first, literally. Anyone claiming to be Christ’s and does not put Him, His work, His Great Commission mandate, first, demonstrates his rebellion, proves to be a Hell bound hypocrite, tare, counterfeit.

“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” Titus 1:16

“He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” 1 John 2:4-6

HOW did Jesus “walk” while on earth?

“Wist (knew) ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?” Luke 2:49

“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” John 5:19

Jesus came to do the will of the Father and all who are truly known of Him do the same.

“Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels … 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Matthew 25:41, 45-46

Instead of giving to God’s people and work, we have millions of fake “Christians” who give to band aid organizations that are not teaching the Word, preaching the Gospel – which Jesus commanded His people to do and is holding us accountable to do (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; 2 Timothy 4:2, etc.). Giving money to, supporting organizations and their human icons who go around answering the political questions of the day, is NOT supporting the Great Commission Jesus gave. Those organizations are not preaching the Word. At best they mention “God” here and there but in their actions they deny Him and yet rake in hundreds of millions of dollars annually.

What did the unchanging God tell us in 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 concerning healing any nation, land?

“Jesus must be our first love! We must be willing to forsake all including our wretched selves! Or the door will be shut. And Jesus will say ‘I know you not!'” Karen Cochran

2. Destruction of the God-Ordained Family Unit

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalms 11:3

As the family unit goes, so goes the nation.

“God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.” Psalms 68:6

America is over due to this – due to the destruction of the nuclear family unit, which is the foundation for any people (Psalms 11:3; 68:6). Even those who claim to be Christians have sought and bought the world’s goods, rejecting Christ by rejecting what His Word plainly states, lays out (2 Timothy 3:16-17). When He was upon His earth, dwelling among us, Jesus taught that any house (nation or individual) not built on the bedrock of obeying God’s Word/instructions/edicts, is on sinking sand (Matthew 7:19-29).

The destruction of the family unit, as GOD defines it – one man, one woman, children TOGETHER – is the destruction of a nation! (Genesis 1:26-28; Psalms 11:3; 68:6; 1 Timothy 5:14, etc.)

Moving to Mexico makes me think back to previous decades in America where young couples were getting together, marrying, having precious babies and raising/training them up together. From birth little girls are taught to hate, to compete with, and that they are better than boys/men. It’s over. This is all it takes to destroy a nation. Satan attack the human race via the woman/female and has not changed (1 Corinthians 10:13; 2 Corinthians 2:11).

In this passage, Matthew 7:19-29, Christ teaches that the foundation is only built by obedience to His Word and not just mental ascent to it. Without obeying God’s Word, the individual, the nation is built on sinking sand and it’s only a matter of time before the bottom falls out, before erosion gives way to the avalanche of judgment.

Knowing the truth in your mind will not make you free. Knowing and obeying it will make you free (John 8:31-32).

When you see a nation without men and women coming together in holy matrimony, without one man and one woman marrying and having babies – you are witnessing a nation that is on its last leg, is going down, due to having no foundation.

In contrast, when you see a nation that has strong familial bonds, you see a nation that is on a solid foundation. Whatever else they may be, they for sure have this essential component in place and are on solid ground, sound footing for the future.

This disciple now lives in Mexico and it is so very refreshing to see young couples with children. Women who are delightsome, not fighting to be the boss, and submitted to their husbands. It is a blessing to see young couples loving each other and heading toward marriage. It’s everywhere. What does this guarantee? it assures the future of this country. Oh and unlike America, the government here is not attacking the family institution from every angle. In fact, there’s no indication that the Mexican government is attacking the family at all here. They are honoring the family unit. This ensures the future of this nation at this time.

Praying for Our Families

“…and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? ³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”  Acts 16:30-31

SUMMATION

REASONS WE KNOW AMERICA IS OVER

America’s day in the sun is over. Those who claim to represent Jesus have sinned away of grace –  eating, drinking, making merry while living unto themselves, caring not at all about those who are poor, about fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission command. American “Christians” are Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22).

IN AMERICA millions of professing “Christians” give to fund political organizations instead of the Great Commission given by the One they claim as Savior (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20).

These ease loving Laodicean “Christians” are fighting to restore life back to how it was so that they can go back to living as did those who soon after were drowned and are still burning in Hell 5,000 years later….

“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew 24:37-42

They are fighting to maintain their liberty to live out their own lusts. They refuse to be bothered or inconvenienced with the life and mission of Christ. This is exactly why God judged, pulled His blessings from Israel in the days of Haggai the prophet. Read Haggai. THIS is exactly what is transpiring in America.
