William Branham and Serpent Seed Heresy Exposed [video]

Seems obvious that only a pervert could believe such a bizaare heresy as this one.

When we read in Genesis how Satan “beguiled” Eve, it’s clear that he tricked her into eating of the forbidden fruit and that’s it. Yet the serpent seed beguilers add to the Bible, they insert, the idea that it was more than just deceiving her to disobey God. They say Satan had sex with her. There is not one iota of proof of any such thing in God’s Word.

“And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.” Genesis 3:13

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:3

One commentator notes:

“The serpent seed doctrine is a belief based on poor biblical interpretation and superstition. It is a primary doctrinal resource for those who want to use Scriptures to justify racial prejudice. The serpent seed doctrine is also closely related to other erroneous beliefs such as the Christian Identity Movement and the Kenite doctrine. Like many false beliefs, it has a built-in defense mechanism; that is, anyone who disagrees with it is accused of being a son of the serpent. One of the most unfortunate problems with the serpent seed doctrine is that it so heavily relies on prejudice and warped biblical interpretation that it can be very difficult to discuss rationally.”

*BEWARE OF THOSE SPREADING THE SERPENT SEED HERESY, CLAIMING SATAN HAD SEX WITH EVE. DISGUSTING. EVIL. DOCTRINE OF DEVILS. THERE IS NO HINT OF SUCH IN SCRIPTURE. ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THIS VILE HERESY IS HELL BOUND (REVELATION 22:18-19)

The serpent seed doctrine says that the serpent mated with Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the offspring of their union was Cain. It appears in early Gnostic writings such as the Gospel of Philip ( c. 350).

From brother Matthew

The Word of God plainly says – Isaiah 7:14 The Messiah Christ will be born of a virgin – Micah 5:2 the Messiah Christ will be born in Bethlehem – Isaiah 9:6 the Messiah Christ is called the Mighty God Everlasting Father – Isaiah 53 The Messiah Christ will be put to death for our sins and His days will be prolonged (resurrected). The only living God which is the Saviour of all men – 1 Timothy 4:10 – – Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life 1 John 5:20 – – God was manifest in the flesh 1 Tim 3:16 – in Jesus dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily Colossians 2:9 – – Acts 20:28 God purchased the church with His own blood – – the Word which is God became flesh and dwelt among us John 1:1&14 – – Jesus is the Christ the Mighty God in the flesh Jesus in the Gospels said in His name to cast out Devils. In the temptation in the wilderness Jesus rebuked Satan, and again when Satan tried to rebuke Christ through Peter Jesus said “Get thee behind me Satan” and then in the temptation in the wilderness He said in Matthew 4 “is it not written, tempt not the Lord your God”, thus claiming to be Lord God. Furthermore, we also see Jesus forgiving sins of people (the cripple man and the woman caught in adultery, and Mary who washed His feet), Jesus accepting worship of individuals He healed (the wise men at His birth, the blind man, lepers, the disciples, and Thomas), and in John 10:18 Jesus says He has power to lay down His life and raise Himself from the dead (personal power over life and death) and in John 10:27-28 Jesus says that He personally gives eternal life, and in John 4:26 Jesus claims to be the Messiah as prophesied of (Isaiah 9:6 called the Mighty God, Everlasting Father) In John 8 stating that He is the “I Am” multiple times (I Am in Greek is “ego eimi” meaning the Always Existing One) and the Pharisees tried to stone Him for blasphemy. An angel, prophet, or holy man couldn’t do that.
