The Blessing of an Abiding Life with Christ [podcast]

Those who are truly Christ’s abide in Him – they seek His face daily in His Word, in private prayer. They walk with the coming KING and His fruit is being increased in their daily personal lives (John 15).

“If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:6  

WHO did Jesus say are His “friends”?

“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:14 

Those who abide in Christ, are choosing to love, worship, and obey Christ, proving they are His “friends.”

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 
2  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 
3  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 
4  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 
5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 
6  If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. …
16  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” John 15:1-7, 16

Our LORD and Savior says:

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15 

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus and ask You to cause this life, the life You gave and redeemed, to glorify Thee perfectly. Please perfect that which concerns my life in Christ dear LORD. Purify my heart. Cleanse me Jesus. At this moment and from here forward, I am all Yours Jesus and I know You are all mine. Not my will but Thine be done LORD Jesus. Into Your hands I commend, I submit my spirit. I love You Jesus. Thank You for creating me, for coming and dying for me, and for finding and saving my wretched soul into Your eternal kingdom – for making me Your own! LORD, please bless this life to be truly crucified with Christ – dead, buried, and raised up for Your glory Jesus! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
