“Make Ready a People Prepared for the Lord” [podcast]

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28

The coming of our LORD Jesus is “that blessed hope” of the true believer:

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.” Titus 2:11-15

Heavenly Father, please grant to Your children an eternal perspective, in Jesus’ name. Amen dear LORD.

“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36

Honestly, when is the last time you heard a modern preacher even mention the words of Jesus recorded Luke 21:34-36?

What are they trying to hide from you?

The reason wolves seldom mention Christ’s return is because they want you focused on helping them build their own earthly kingdom using His holy name in vain to do so (Philippians 3:18-19).

“Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” Revelation 16:15

“Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Luke 12:40

Wolves want you loyal to THEM. That’s why they misuse Hebrews 10:25 but never mention Luke 9:23-24. Read them.

You know a wolf when He speak things and verses to make you loyal to the church busine$$ he’s running but never mentions that Jesus commands you to deny yourself, take up the cross and follow HIM (Luke 9:23-24).

The Holy Spirit through Paul Told us Exactly what People Jesus will soon Return for:

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:25-27

PWT APOSTOLIC MODEL

Christ’s Apostle Paul Did 3 Things to Prepare God’s People to Meet Christ:

“Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 Whom we PREACH, WARNING every man, and TEACHING every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.” Colossians 1:27-29

“And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 59:20

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isaiah 58:1

That which you are not willing to relinquish, to give up for Christ, to make His “first love,” is an idol that will damn your soul (Revelation 2:4-5).

There are so very many flakes talking about stupid things that have nothing to do with preparing the body of Christ to meet Jesus at His soon return (Ephesians 5:25-27; Colossians 1:28; 1 John 2:28-3:3, etc.). Beware of the demonically influenced distracters saints.

God’s people Israel could not stand before their enemies while living in sin and neither can we. Sin only reigns in the lives of those who live outside of the crucified life Jesus requires and expects His people to walk in. Only cross-bearing disciples are divinely empowered to overcome sin and be in fellowship with Jesus now and forever (2 Corinthians 4:10-12).

“Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.” Joshua 7:12

So, when’s the last time your favorite pastor/minister shared a verse like Ezekiel 18:30? If he’s not preaching repentance from the Scriptures, why not? What’s he hiding? what’s his agenda? Here it is:

“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.” Ezekiel 18:30

Coming before the LORD in repentance:

“O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. 2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.” Hosea 14:1-2
