This right here is what kingdom living looks like – living for Christ, on mission, for eternity with Him, and not this fleeting world…

While in the middle of going through a financial trial, a time of layoff, one dear brother recently asked for prayer. I prayed for him and then asked him if I could just tear up the check he had just sent. This was his response:

“No way cash that sucker brother! And I’m sending more $ btw. I took 2500.00 out of my 401k. God is good. I will always give till I’m broke. Jesus has been too good for me to lose faith in Him. He will keep me brother! Amen! He has always been so good to me when He should have left me, but He never did. His kingdom is most important and I trust Him. God is so Good. He is all we have and all we need! Thank you!” Derek B.

“And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.” Acts 2:44-45

Their lives had been regenerated, changed, transformed to where their personal lives were dead and buried and now walked in, were raised up “in newness of life.” These true disciples of Christ lived on mission, no longer for the mundane, temporal pursuits of this fleeting world.

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4

Among the earliest followers of Christ …

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.” Acts 4:32-35

Living in readiness for our LORD’s return means living the mission of Christ who came “to seek and to save that which was lost,” packing light, cutting off anything that would prevent us from the wedding! Read Luke 19:10; Matthew 25:1-13 and Revelation 19:7-8. Jesus came and gave all, and all who follow Him live with open hands of worship to Him and charity to others!

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35

O that those who claim Jesus as their Savior would spend as much time seeking Him, serving Him truly, as they do seeking after earthly pleasures and the treasures of this world for the fleeting pleasure of the god of self!

“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33

MONEY in this world tends to give people a false sense of self-importance – as they attribute their fleeting worldly “success” as meaning they are better than others. This is a dangerous, damning path saints, beware.

Instead of coveting to have more to give to advance Christ’s eternal kingdom, many today get caught in the vicious, insatiable quest to build more in this world – wasting their opportunity to lay up treasure in Heaven as Jesus instructed us to do (Matthew 6:19-24). All the sins of the flesh are further inflamed in this scenario, leaving them lukewarm toward Christ and His people, and helplessly swallowed up in the sins of the flesh. We are specifically warned of such – and make no mistake, this is a Heaven or hell issue.

1 Timothy 6:6-10

“6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

The LORD told us that we are given the opportunity to earn money on earth in order to “have to give” to “establish his covenant” in this life.

“Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, THAT HE MAY HAVE TO GIVE to him that needeth.” Ephesians 4:28

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may ESTABLISH HIS COVENANT which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

The LORD is calling for swift repentance from those who name the name of Christ – to lay down their lives in this world, to vest themselves in eternal glory (2 Timothy 2:19). When He allows our income to increase it’s His stated will that we increase our standard of giving, not our standard of living in this temporal world. Let’s read what Jesus says in Luke 12:15-21:

The Parable of the Rich Fool

“And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:15-21

Many today spend their lives investing in their later years’ retirement and/or expanding their own portfolio in this soon-to-end world system instead of investing in Heaven. Those who are living without Christ’s reign in their lives are serving mammon and not their Maker. This is clear in that they commit to a certain percentage of investment each month in their retirement while merely tipping God and His work, or giving nothing to Christ’s saints who have needs. Jesus tells us that “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:21). Where O where is your treasure friend? Where are you investing? Eternity is forever.

Lay Up Treasures in Heaven

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

In light of these words from the LORD Jesus, it has been wisely stated that

“The way we spend our money is a direct reflection of the priorities of our hearts.”

There are those who look good financially in this fleeting world who are throwing away their eternal souls for a temporal luxury which will be forgotten when they are thrown into the flames of eternal damnation.

“There is that maketh himself rich (in this temporal world), yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.” Proverbs 13:7

This is all going to be over soon. What’s your investment looking like? What’s the investment of your life going to yield in the end?

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

To follow Jesus, one must choose to let Him reign in their lives, wholly – to deny self, to die to self, self-will, self-agenda, etc. – to take up the cross daily and walk with Him. This will include gaining eternal glory with Him while refusing any endeavor to attain to earthly wealth.

“Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38

“Love not the world” – Your significance is in Christ, not this world.

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:15-17

If we truly love Christ and not this world – why would we choose to spend all our time, energy, focus, and life on getting more trinkets and trips in this fleeting world? Specifically concerning the greed and covetousness that fills wicked hearts, the LORD warned us:

“But thou, O man of God, FLEE THESE THINGS; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:11-12

The Truth about Significance

The car doesn’t make you. The house doesn’t make you. The amount of money you have or don’t have in the bank/investments doesn’t make you.

Earthly wealth fortifies and emboldens the lie of self-importance. But remember, Jesus says “for a man’s life (significance) consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth” (Luke 12:15). You will do well to memorize this one.

The sum total of your wealth is what you have in and of Christ! There are no true riches outside of Him!

“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;” 1 Corinthians 3:21-22

If you are in Christ, truly, your life in this fleeting world is a mission trip for HIS eternal glory.

“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” Galatians 6:14

PRAYER: Father in Heaven, I come to You now as a vile self-serving, self-worshipping wicked sinner. I come in the name of Jesus Christ, asking You to forgive my sin of idolatry, of spiritual adultery and worship of self and thereby having other gods before You. I am 100% guilty as a sinner and there’s no one to blame but my own wicked self. Right this moment I ask You to forgive and wash me in the precious blood of my LORD Jesus. Please unite my heart to fear Thy holy name dear LORD. Please break me Jesus. Let today and the remainder of my days be spent worshipping You alone and seeing that Your Word is spread to the ends of the earth – into the hearts of every man, woman, and child. In Jesus’ Name. “We’re Watching The Collapse of America in Real Time” [podcast]

Greatest Country in the World? – such a statement and others are the glue that holds the enslaved to their slave masters. And there was many more.

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:17

America has for at least decades rejected God, even those who claim they are saved. They are bound for eternal damnation. They are “wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”

Is America what it used to be? I think not. America is reaping what it has sowed. More on God’s judgment on nations in a moment.

So why would present judgment upon the USA be a surprise to the true born again Bible saints? Would this not prove that we ourselves are still in darkness?

“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” Romans 1:22

Business as Usual? I don’t think so. Redemptive withdrawal at work – where God is removing His hand of protection over the USA due to the sin and unrepentant rebellion of the people. Notice how this starts – when we live in sin, we are unrepentant, we are digging out own pit.

“The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. 16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. 17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalms 9:16-17

“Excellent podcast! And I agree America is on a downward spiral of evilness I don’t believe we have ever seen, as we are nearing the end times. I think of 2 Tim 3:1-4. But what really sticks out is v3 ‘without natural affection,’. Isn’t this exactly what we are seeing? Natural affection in the Greek ‘astorgos’ meaning natural and instinctual family love for parents, and children is gone. Yet our society is now without this love and their hearts and has become hardened from the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 3:12-15). The root cause is self-idolatry. Just recently Massachusetts passed a law, that you can kill your own baby up to birth. This was applauded, by these demonic, feminist, Jezebels! Remarkably, there was not one man standing with them when this was signed. This is how far America has come. Killing children is acceptable and applauded! God’s judgment is definitely upon us. How did we get here?

What sins was Sodom committing when the LORD judged them?

PFA = Pride, Fulness of Bread, and Abundance of idleness.

The Sins of Sodom:

Sins Jerusalem cited for in Ezekiel 16:49-51:

Pride (arrogance),
Fulness of Bread (gluttony, hoarding),
Abundance of Idleness (idle, lazy),
did not help those in need due to preoccupation with self-worship (not generous in spreading God’s wealth to His people and work)
haughty
committed abomination (rampant fornication – just as in the days leading up to the Noahic flood. See Genesis 6)

Judgment is at hand.

HERE IS WHERE WE ARE – There’s a timing of judgment for each nation. The LORD has called America to repent for decades and she has refused and will not be repenting. She has wiped her mouth like she did nothing wrong. The people will not acknowledge their gross sin and only wants her freedom back in order to go back to living as she pleases but has no conviction of her sin to lead her to true repentance.

“AT WHAT INSTANT”

God has a specific timing for the judgment on each nation.

Jeremiah 18:10

1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

7 At what INSTANT I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;

10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

Clear proof that America is under divine judgment. Rampant injustice such as judges giving bond to murderers and rapists so they can (and they are) go out and do it again. Read Isaiah 3.

Over 60 million murdered in cold blood precious babies, and county, with no voice crying out for abortion to cease.

No political party or candidate can save America from divine judgment. Only repentance could have done such—yet those claiming to be God’s people have refused (Jeremiah 18:1-10; 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Most other nations are not under such judgment at this time and this underscores the timing of God in judging individual nations. Those who live elsewhere or travel can testify that other nations are not the cascading catastrophe the United States presently is. The LORD told us that He has an “instant” in time, a specific time for the judgment of each nation – and in the end the final judgment of all nations (Jeremiah 18:1-10; Matthew 25:31-46).

“I see this on men’s faces all over America. The women have rotted their bones with their words! They destroy him and tear him down so much so that he stops fighting and surrenders to her. At the time of this writing, nearly $1 million has been donated to the wicked woman’s defense fund by other wicked women who are defending her murders of her own three precious children and blaming her husband for it.

There are consequences for our decisions.

We have all sinned against our Maker and are in need of His forgiveness before it’s too late. America is over but eternity lies before each of us.

The lies Trump told to get into office were all a big ruse, a trick, such as “We’re going to release the Epstein files.” Now it seems we know why he hasn’t released them, but it’s all coming to light (Matthew 10:26).

Evil leaders are God’s judgment upon nations. The previous administration was just as horrid though perhaps in other ways.

Proverbs 28:15: “As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.”

Proverbs 29:2: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

Ecclesiastes 5:8: “If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.”

Isaiah 10:1-2: “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!”

Daniel 2:21: “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:”

Micah 3:9-11: “Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD…”

Antichrist or Christ? [podcast]

Who is truly reigning in my heart?

“But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.” Luke 19:27

Am I an antichrist?

Are there professing Christians who have “the spirit of antichrist” reigning in their hearts, their personal lives?

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

Sitting upon the throne in the heart of this temple would make me an antichrist.

Anti as in antichrist means in place of: It’s the “spirit of antichrist” working through Satan’s false ministers that robs the glory from Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 11:12-15; Colossians 1:18; 2:8-10, 18-19; 1 John 4:1-3, etc.).

We know when “that spirit of antichrist” is working through a rebel when he speaks contrary to God’s Word (John 8:47; 1 John 4:3). “That spirit of antichrist” – anti (in place of) Christ is anything that contradicts what God’s Word says, working to subvert divinely stated truth while posing as Christ’s minister (2 Corinthians 11:12-15).

“That spirit of antichrist” is witnessed in the human agents, possessed by devils who make it all about something, anything but Christ. The emphasis is taken away from Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:18-19). They make it about the church, Zionism/Israel, a nation, a genealogical people, a mere pastor, a man or men, an organization, a creed, a fraternal order, etc. This becomes clearer as the word “antichrist” is broken down. Anti means in place of.

How Has Women Leaving Their Homes Hurt Culture?

Many women despise my teachings on women being keepers at home. They will often give me names of all the great and powerful women who left their homes and did good things in order to back up their defense that women don’t need to be keepers at home. They will tell me that I am shaming women for teaching these things. They confuse shaming with conviction. God’s Word convicts them. If they feel shame, they are really feeling conviction. If they are doing what they know is right, no one would be able to shame them.

How has women leaving their homes hurt culture? It has hurt culture in many, many ways. Children are no longer being raised by their own mothers. They are being raised by daycare workers and teachers. “The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame” (Proverbs 29:15). Children need a lot of teaching, training, and discipline. They aren’t receiving this if their mothers are away from them most of the day. These mothers are giving their best to others instead of to their children. These children are bringing shame to their mothers as they grow up. We are told this in God’s Word. All of the people we see rioting and burning down buildings were most likely not raised by a mother full time.

Women leaving their homes have hurt marriage. Women now initiate divorce 70 percent of the time since they no longer need to depend upon their husbands but can instead take half of what he owns and have them pay child support for many years. They are often too tired to put much time or energy into their marriages due to their careers. Marriage and raising children is FAR more important than having a career. There is nothing more important than raising the next generation, and children need a mother and father under the same roof and involved in their lives.

Women leaving their homes has hurt the old people. Old people no longer have their daughters around to help and give them comfort because their daughters are pursuing their careers. Young mothers hurt because they no longer have their mothers help because they have careers and they don’t have any older women involved in their lives due to careers. Neighbors don’t have people they can call on when they need help when all of the women are working away from their homes.

Women are more depressed and suicidal than ever before. They can’t expect anything different when they leave the clear path that God has chosen for them to pursue their own paths. God is our Creator and He is good. His ways for us are good. Women have been affected negatively since leaving their homes. Children have been abandoned and have been hurt the most. When the least among us is hurt the most, then we must carefully examine the path that we are on and switch course.

God-fearing women, I encourage you to go back to the paths that the Lord has laid out for you. If you think you can’t afford it, step out in faith in Almighty God. He tells us that His commands are not burdensome and that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. He wants you home full time. This is where He has given you to work and minister. Your work at home is not worthless! God will use you in powerful ways as you obey Him. He will bless you abundantly and the older you get, the more you will realize this.

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Jeremiah 6:16
