Escaping the “Depart from Me” [podcast]

Each of us faces judgment. It’s inescapable.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Hebrews 9:27

“As someone once wrote, ‘where death finds you, eternity will hold you.’ ~author unknown. In the spiritual state of your last breath, brethren; will be the eternal state of your soul. Rev. 22:11” Jon Crane

God looks at where we are now – in our present state – not the past! Will you finish strong in Christ through the cross life – or will you lose all?

“Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.” Ezekiel 33:12-13

A Tree and Its Fruit – Luke 6

43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Build Your House on the Rock

46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Coming Judgment Matthew 25

Read here below what Jesus says about the coming judgment. In other words, you were not about the “Father’s business” but rather about “the cares of this life”, spending all your time and money on every non-essential wasteful pursuit in this fleeting world (Luke 2:49; 21:34-36). And so you didn’t know or care who was in need and pretended to imagine to let others support to ministering of God’s Work… you have too many earthly dreams to fulfill to be bothered with Jesus and His glorious saving Gospel – to feeding His sheep and reaching more lost souls He died to save. Basically He’s saying that so many who are alive today, wanted the crown but not Christ and the cross He commanded. To them King Jesus will declare: “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Matthew 25
41  Then shall he say also unto them on left the hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

“Well Done, Good and Faithful SERVANT”

“His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:23
