A market.

Please pause and lift a prayer for Angel (pictured below). Angel gratefully received the ministry of the spoken Word of Christ this day. He rejoiced joyfully. Upon departing Angel took 2 Jesus tracts in Spanish to go share with others! Someone has rightly stated that “the Gospel is the only thing you must give away to keep.”

I let each of these beloved souls who are being ministered to know that we, members of the body of Christ, are praying for them. They are delighted to hear such.

WE are Christ’s body. Each member is blessed with the opportunity to participate in spreading His love, the salvation of Christ (1 Corinthians 3:9).

You are with us here “in the spirit” if you will …. blessing these beloved souls who are the hungriest most gracious people this disciple has ever witnessed.

“For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.” Colossians 2:5

This man and his dear friend, another older gentlemen, earnestly listened to the lovingly articulated preaching of the Word of God in Spanish. After extensive vocal communication of God’s Word, preaching Jesus, I gave this man a Spanish JESUS tract and his friend, who heard it all, reached out his hand to receive his own copy of the JESUS tract. Solid ministering. This man’s countenance reveals that for many years His Maker has been convicting his conscience of sin, which we “all” have committed and are fully guilty (Romans 3).

Saints, we can’t feed the world but we sure can be the world of blessings to some of them! “WE are labourers TOGETHER with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9).

YOU, YOUR GIFTS are making this possible. Feeding the stomachs of the poor, yes! Feed the poor the Word of God and natural food is what is being done. Spiritual bread which is Christ, the bread of life.

“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.” John 6:35

Natural bread, food, nourishes, satisfies for a little time and the heavenly Bread of Heaven, Jesus Christ, nourishes and satisfies for ever!

The body of Christ is sent by Christ to feed the world “the bread of life” which is He who came to die, to be buried, and to be raised again from the dead for the justification of our sins – to bring us into His royal, eternal family (Ephesians 1).

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and you have given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life .” 1 John 5:20

One particular evening
this week, several people
were fed and ministered to.

some food to eat.

RECENTLY this precious woman, after the Word was ministered to her, began praising and extolling Jesus. Apparently she is saved. Her heart rejoiced. She received a gift to help her, including to get her some food and some water for the evening. Her spirit leaped for joy. She came to me seeking help…. and this is what she received, from God – the riches of Christ (Acts 3:1-6).

Last evening, about 6-8 people were fed and ministered to. Thank you for saying you love these people and that they matter to our LORD, to you….. with your giving.

Saints, we can’t feed every poor person in this world but we sure can be the world of blessings to some of them! “WE are workers TOGETHER with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9).

Please know that we will ALWAYS most importantly give them God’s love in the form of His spoken and printed Word.

Mexico Mission

There are lots of precious people like Amelia. They are not asking for a handout. No, they are selling things some people desire. What we are doing is ministering God’s Word to some of them and giving them some natural needs help also. These are “the poor” Scriptures speak of specifically 145 times and informs us that we are blessed if we help them with what our LORD has placed in our hands.

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” Proverbs 19:17

When we have pity upon the poor, when we feed them, we are lending to the LORD. He will repay. These are HIS words. This is HIS promise. Read the verse above again. Mix His Word of promise with faith (Hebrews 4:2).

“And Jesus, when he came out, saw many people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things. … Give them ye to eat.” Mark 6:34, 37

“Jesus was deeply moved with compassion as he saw the needs of the people. He used this moment to feed them physically (Mark 6:36-44), but also fed them spiritually as he began to teach them.” Karen Cochran

Putting God First [podcast]

If God’s Word isn’t important to you, it’s because He isn’t important to you.

If anything comes before the LORD in your day, you are an idolater.

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3

GOD’s WORD cannot get into you if you aren’t into it.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Jesus commanded:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

As you seek God, putting Him first, you are not going to be able to prevent, to stop His blessings coming upon your life. 100%

Memorize this promise from your Savior, today.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

What putting Christ first looks like:

Prayer.

“Early will I seek thee.” Psalms 63:1

Read. Study.

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. Job 23:12

The Bible is far from just amazing information (Psalms 119:98-100; 2 Peter 1:3-4, etc.). More important than vital information coming from our Maker, God’s Word is your spiritual food and without it, without daily ingesting it, you will famish, fall, and ultimately perish.

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” 1 Peter 2:2

Read that again: The only way to “grow” is to “desire” and to devour the Word of your great God and King Jesus. He made you to know Him (John 17:3).

The only way to keep, to guard your heart before the LORD, is to keep it full of God’s Word.

“Keep (guard, till the soil of) thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23

In fact, like Job, we must make the spiritual food of God’s Word more important than the food that fuels and keeps healthy our physical body.

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12

“He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart RETAIN my words: keep my commandments, and live.” Proverbs 4:4

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalms 1

Find. Eat. Rejoice.

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

YOUR PRAYER: Father please unite my heart to fear Thy name. Forgive my sins of spiritual adultery, of self-idolatry. Here and now I renounce my own ownership on my life. It’s Your life LORD. Reign on the throne of this heart and cut away, circumcise any and everything of iniquity in my heart and life. You must increase but I must decrease, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Victory Over “Evil Concupiscence” and Every Sexual Sin [podcast]

“Concupiscence” appears 3 times in God’s Word and speaking of having a secret desire for that which is forbidden, namely in sexual lust.

“But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.” Romans 7:8

“Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:” Colossians 3:5

“Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:” 1 Thessalonians 4:5

Revelation 19:7-9
