“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1

What did Paul mean by “these promises”? It was those things, including the conditions, he had just penned of:

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

*Note, the question is whether or not your pastor is teaching this biblical doctrine at hand. This should not ever involve anyone self-righteously brow beating you. You, as an individual, must choose to truly serve God via the crucified life, etc. No one else can do that for you.

Can God’s people be “made free from sinning”?

In response to being convicted of his sin, one man, professing believer, said “I need to be strong.”

No.

It’s the cross that is needed in your daily, personal life. When we are WEAK (dead and buried, crucified) then we are strong in HIS resurrection strength. When we are weak in self, we are dependent upon the LORD wholly. Take close note of the cross in this following passage:

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness (crucified). Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the (resurrection) power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, THEN am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10

“We are weak in our flesh. Matthew 26:41. Sin weakens us. It leads to death. Spiritual separation from God. In this life and eternally. We are only strong in the power of His might. Ephesians 6: 10. Our flesh must die. So we can walk in the newness of life as we are made alive through Jesus Christ! Romans 6.” Karen Cochran

Read prayerfully Romans 6 each morning. Memorize Galatians 2:20 KJB. God will never raise up anyone who is not first dead and buried.

“But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you (the cross message). 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:17-23

You will never hear an eternal security wolf teaching anything about overcoming all sin.

ALL who peddle Satan’s “Ye shall NOT surely die” lie are “accursed” false teachers who are preaching “another gospel” (Genesis 2:17; 3:4; Galatians 1:6-9).

No different than what Satan told the first man and woman, which led to their fall into sin, this same lie is leading millions to “fall away” after being saved (Genesis 2:17; 3:4; Luke 8:13; 1 Timothy 4:1). Jude warns us specifically of these “ungodly men” who are “turning the (saving) grace of our God into lasciviousness” which is a license to sin (Jude 3-4). Eternal security, once saved always saved, and perseverance of the saints are all doctrines of devils (2 Peter 2:20-22; Romans 11:20-22, etc.).

“What arrogance to think you can continue to live in sin and God will welcome you with open arms! God does not have to accept any of us! We all deserve hell. When we stand before Him he has every right to throw us into the fiery furnace. I continue to ask Jesus if He knows me! Because if He doesn’t He will say depart from me I never knew you. Matthew 7: 22-23. We can say Lord, Lord all we want, but those are just words if He does not know us! Terrifying reality! Eternity hangs in the balance! Fight the good fight of faith and fight for your eternal souls. 1 Timothy 6:12. Don’t just assume you will be given a place in eternity with Jesus! None of us are secure until He says well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord. Matthew 25:21.” Karen Cochran

“When I think of the cross I see Grace! Grace is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8. An unearned and undeserved gift. We deserve Hell. The cornerstone of our salvation is Christ and His grace. When we continue to live in sin we cheapen God’s grace. Make it null and void. Frustrate it. Galatians 2:21. Otherwise Christ died in vain!” Karen Cochran

The cross is the only solution the Savior gave us for “true holiness” (Ephesians 4:24).

“All you need to do is read Romans 6 and see we are to not live in sin but in the Spirit! Read Romans 6 everyday until it sinks way down deep into your heart! We are to be servants of holiness and righteousness! And to not serve sin! Serving sin leads to death! Walking in the newness of Life is walking in our new nature!” Karen Cochran

Romans 6 is a cross chapter. In fact one could rightly call it “the cross chapter.”

Chosen to be Holy as He is Holy – and God always enables what He establishes or mandates.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” Ephesians 1:3-7

Lots of pastors believe and even state things like “well, we all sin every day.” Basically it’s the laissez-faire lukewarm attitude…..yes and the same frauds claim to believe in saving grace but only for Heaven, not for empowering the born-again abiding saints to overcome sin (Romans 6:16).

False leaders today have people trained to look for little coping band-aids, things that profit their immediate situation yet squander their present and future state. The false leaders today can be known by their messages which coddle their prey in their sin, never calling them to true repentance, to the cross, to a holy, separated life, etc. The result is that these people want nothing to do with a Bible message, a message that is truly Bible-intensive, and this is exactly why these shallow dwellers are “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy 3:7).

Christ’s Remnant Body is Living Organically

THE ORGANIC (no additives) remnant body of Christ walks in God’s truth and love daily – no matter where they are on HIS planet (John 13:35; Ephesians 4:15, etc.). Their lives are sanctified always – not just on Sunday mornings. They belong to one church – the body of Christ which is bought by His precious blood (1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 7:23). They love ALL the brethren of Christ – not just the folk that show up in an “official” so-called “church building” (1 John 4:7-8; 5:1).

A close friend of mine once said, the definition of a hypocrite is “someone who is just not quite themselves on Sunday mornings.”

YOUR PRAYER: Father in Jesus’ name, please make us Your authentic disciples. Purify our hearts and cleanse our lives of every trace of fakery. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Matthew 12: 34 Our outer appearance should match our inner self. Impossible for an evil heart to produce good fruit. Your words should match how you live. The fruits of Christ only come from a pure and honest heart. Otherwise your fruit is rotten because your inside is corrupted in sin and filth. IF a pastor/preacher is not preaching the crucified life, he is preaching “another gospel” and such proves that he is “accursed” and is not living the cross life (Luke 9:23-24; 2 Corinthians 11:3-5; Galatians 1:6-9; 2:20, etc.). This means he’s one of “the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things” (Philippians 3:18-19).

SCATHING REBUKE TO AN OSAS WOLF

Angelo writes:

Angelo is an OSAS heretic. God told on him in advance – “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 3-4).

So is it okay for you to be faithful to your wife? Yes. If you commit adultery on her your marriage covenant is broken. If you commit spiritual adultery on God, you are separated from Him in your sin (Exodus 20:3-5; Ezekiel 14:3; Revelation 21:8).

So I’ve been deceived by believing God holds me personally responsible to actually participate in the relationship I have with Him and not just trying to use Him to get me out of Hell?

Yes we bring our sin to the table initially but then Jesus saves us, regenerates, makes us His new creatures, temples of His Holy Ghost, and empowers us to please Him. – “having no part dark” in us (Luke 11:36). You apparently truly do not believe in God’s grace which divinely enables His people to overcome all sin, making them ready for Christ’s return (Titus 1:16; 2:11-14). You are peddling half truths and are a false teacher.

Let me quote a few verses those like you intentionally run from and hide from the people because you love your darkness rather than light:

“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33

Ah yes, HE initiates. We don’t find Him. He finds us (John 12:32; 1 John 4:10, 19-20). No, WE don’t finish it – HE finishes it as we “abide” continue in Christ – on HIS stated terms – the daily cross, crucified life (Luke 9:23-24). Those who don’t “abide” in/with Christ to the end will be cast into the fires of Hell. That’s what Jesus taught – “IF a man abide (remain) not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned” (John 15:6). Jesus was speaking to HIS own as He was when He declared – “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved,” and “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 10:22; 24:13). Apparently you are a cross-less wolf, a coward who makes excuse for instead confessing sin, and misleading others in the same. Paul spoke of you – (Philippians 3:18-19; Proverbs 28:13). You are preaching a false gospel and evade anything in God’s Word that requires you to truly repent, deny yourself, take up the cross – be truly crucified with Christ …. and follow, obey Jesus – because you do not truly love Him. Jesus says “IF ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15), and “Ye are my friends, IF ye do whatsoever I command you” (John 15:14). If you don’t love Him, He says don’t bother obeying me. Obeying Jesus is the expression of one’s love for Him – not to earn His justification. Repent now, sinner. This is why you gullibly bought into and peddle the pre-trib rapture, OSAS/eternal security heresies. – “(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things)” (Philippians 3:18-19 …..)

Any person who has been saved and is not overcoming sin simply has chosen to love self more than the Savior. They are 100% full blown rebels who could care less about anyone but self. The flames of eternal damnation shall never cease to feed upon their helpless conscious souls.

ALL who attempt to cover instead of admit and confess their sin are outside of Christ. They are lost souls. And doesn’t this account for the vast majority of those claiming to be saved by Christ today? Yes. They love their lies their false prophets feed them (Jeremiah 5:31). Read Jeremiah 5-7 and 2 Timothy 3.

Recently, I spoke with a faithful “church member” who also, flippantly spoke of having “many vices and sins.” Sadly, there was no sense of conviction of this sin.

Are you going to attempt to cover or conquer all sin?

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13

“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which TAKETH AWAY the sin of the world.” John 1:29

YOUR PRAYER: Father in Heaven, You are holy. Please forgive my vile, evil, rebellious and disobedient wicked heart and how I have made myself an idol and committed the sin of spiritual adultery against You. I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ, asking You to forgive me, to break me, to unite my heart to fear Thy name. Please grant that this heart be an heart of flesh, removing the stony places and multiplying Your enabling and empowering grace to grant this, Your mere servant, Your power to overcome all sin, all that defiles me in Your holy eyes. Do that deeper work dear LORD. Please cause my heart to never depart from You. Teach me the crucified, the cross life you mandated me to walk in dear LORD. Please help me to love You more, to love You supremely. In Jesus’ name.

GOD told us He’s laughing at these luciferians and all their “elaborate plans” to control humanity. Read Psalms 2. Jesus is coming. His enemies will be crushed under His holy, Almighty feet (Romans 16:20).

“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.” Romans 16:20

The future belongs exclusively to Jesus Christ and His followers. Read the book of Revelation!

Jesus is coming back “In flaming fire taking vengeance.”

The Coming of the Son of Man

Just as Aaron’s rod swallowed up the rods of the sorcerers of Egypt (the world), so shall Christ’s kingdom swallow up the kingdoms of this world! (Exodus 7:12; Daniel 2:44; 7:14) Will you be a part of Christ’s eternal kingdom?

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15

Bow now or burn forever.

All who refuse to repent, bowing down to “kiss the Son” of God will perish in their own corruption and be violently vanquished into the bowels of eternal damnation, the prison of fire, which will then be “cast into the lake of fire.”

“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:14-15

“EVERY Knee”

WHAT is the Context of Fighting the Good Fight of Faith? [podcast]

What was Paul speaking of when he declared that Christ’s disciples must “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses”? (1 Timothy 6:12)

First off, it’s a “good fight” because we are going to win – yet only if we do things God’s way with no compromise. What do we fight against? What must we put under foot, conquer and reign victorious over?

What did the Holy Spirit in Paul mean by fighting the good fight of faith? Think context.

You have to “fight” to keep these damning sins out of your life – and the way you “fight” is to be rich in giving – otherwise you will have a sand foundation that will not stand in the judgment. You will go to Hell irrevocably. This is the clear teaching of Scripture, throughout. Read this closely:

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:6-12

Wisdom is fellowshipping with those who are on fire for Jesus, who refuse to be lukewarm, who are fighting the good fight of faith, who are finishing their course, who are keeping the faith (2 Timothy 4:7) …. who make you wonder if you are saved. Conviction.

The cross is an absolute essential in the life of every saint of Christ. There will be no overcoming without putting the cross at the center of our daily lives. Paul said:

“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 1 Corinthians 9:27

Eternal security is the fairytale of counterfeits.

Jesus told us that the cross is “daily” (Luke 9:23-24). It must be daily or you will fall away. No one can truly serve God on any other terms but the ones He has set forth. The cross must be at the center of your life. You must plant, drive that stake in the ground. Your heart and life will never be flooded with His love, peace, power, and joy until you do.

Those who don’t endure to the end after being saved are going to hell (Matthew 10:22; 24:13; Hebrews 10:26-39).

Do you truly love God above self and all else? That’s the big question. If you love God supremely, you will give Him the preference in the life He gave you and for which you will give full account to Him.

Do you truly desire the power of God to function in your life? The cross is His way beloved.

YOU, yes you are in a war. The cross is the instrument of your death so that Christ, who is “the resurrection and the life” might reign in and through your life (John 11:25). Don’t even think you’re going to conquer devils, principalities, when you haven’t even conquered your own heart, soul, lusts, and life.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30

Scarcely will we hear a man preach on the cross – the crucified life – which proves he himself is not taking up his cross. And the cross is a non-negotiable essential in the divine economy. Never wait for any other man to take up the cross or preach it. You do it. God holds you 100% responsible to do so – and you will appear before the Almighty to give full account for doing so, or not.

The war is won within – as you push your love upward to God and outward to men. This must be the labor of love deliberately won by fighting, battling through everything that seeks to assume first place in your life, time, your thoughts, your heart, your affections, etc. God only raises up crucified – dead and buried disciples. THAT’s when the victory is won and such a crucified disposition must be diligently procured daily by the cross – knowing that God is only going to raise up the surrendered soul.

Memorize:

“Let us labour (fight) therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” Hebrews 4:11

Treasure that will be Eternally Tremendous or Trouncing

Where your money is proves where your heart is …. Take a look at your bank statement and see where the money is going and also your investments and property. There is where you will see where your heart truly is. Your bank statement will reveal to you who you really are – as in contrast with who you may claim to be. The self-deception will be exposed.

Getting “honest” in your “heart” and life are a required essential to bear fruit unto everlasting life with Christ, the Father, and the saints (Luke 8:15).

Jesus says: “WHERE you treasure (money) is, THERE will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:21).

Are you pouring into Christ’s kingdom? If not, what does that actually reveal about your life at this moment? – It reveals that you love this world, you love your life in this world.

Isn’t it time to lose your life in this world?

“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33

Is Christ your Protector or is your money? Remember, you will soon be separated from your money – and stand naked before the Almighty (Job 1:21; 1 Timothy 6:6-11). What shall you say to Him in that day? Will He declare over you “Well done” or “Depart from me”? Read Matthew 25:40-46.

“Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.” Luke 17:33

If you are rich toward yourself instead of “rich toward God” – you chose to forsake Christ, even though you were running a lot of religious interference. God sees through it all. Read what Christ taught in Luke 12:15-21 and 16:19-31.

Are the authentic ministries you know of, who feed you and others, well stocked with supply, fuel to function? Do you realize they have monthly bills and have a family to provide for as they have answered God’s call to do the infinitely most important and only eternal work in the earth?

Jesus spoke of those who are and those who aren’t “rich toward God.” Those “rich toward God” have God first and nothing else. Nothing gets spent before Christ’s workers and work are supplied. They make sure Christ’s work and workers are fully fueled. They are the bless-ed Obadiahs and Epaphroditus’ of our day.

Who was Epaphroditus? Well, he was like Obadiah in the days of Elijah and the other true prophets of God. He kept laborers of the Gospel supplied so they could function in the calling of the LORD on their lives.

“Lay up for yourself treasure in Heaven, not things on the earth. Because it will all burn up one day, all will be lost. Can’t take anything of this earth’s wealth with you. Only all you’ve given to God will last. Give as a cheerful giver. Jesus cheerfully gave His life for you. He died for you to save you. Our giving will not out give God. Supporting the work of the Lord is laying up treasures in Heaven. God Bless.” Darlene

Epaphroditus is the New Testament Equivalent to Obadiah

“And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly: 4 For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)” 1 Kings 18:3-4

Read Philippians 2:19-30 to discover how this man, this brother in Christ named Epaphroditus, supplied Paul and the ministry of Christ.

WHO was Obadiah in the Days of Ahab and Jezebel?

“Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD” (1 Kings 18:4). Through his ministers that held high positions within the kingdom of God, the devil “cut off” the supply of finances to those prophets who remained in the truth, refusing to compromise with the system and majority. God-fearing Obadiah secretly supplied these servants of Christ with food and water to sustain their lives. Is there any new thing under the sun? No. In our day, when those few who refuse to compromise are being cut off from financial supply by those who have a stranglehold on the control of 99% of the finances flowing in the church world, we, the remnant, have been called out to be like Obadiah and supply those who remain true to the LORD in serving His people. See 1 Kings 18.

The Most Dangerous and Prevalent Sins?

“For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor COVETOUS man, who is an IDOLATER, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” Ephesians 5:5-6

One man of God noted that “More people will be in Hell for covetousness and greed than all other sins combined.” The honest student of Holy Scripture cannot but agree to this. There is a direct connection between your money and the Messiah, your supply and the Savior.

Those not laying up treasure in Heaven (digging their way into Hell) prove such by not being “rich toward God” but are rather rich toward the god of self, who cannot save them from eternal damnation.

Jesus Instructs You to Lay Up Treasures in Heaven

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:19-24

At the end of his earthly life, the apostle Paul could declare with clear conscience:

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Sin must be warded off, must be kept at bay, must be put under foot by the cross, the crucified life. There are not shortcuts. Knowing you are expected to cling to and know and walk with Jesus is one thing – and walking it out is another. Here’s a memory verse:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

Those who answer the call of God to do His work forego, waive, give up their own earnings in this passing world in order to obey God by feeding and equipping His precious sheep for whom He died and rose again (John 15:16; 21:15-17; Acts 6:4; 15:26; 20:24; 1 Corinthians 9:1-14, etc.). It’s a blessing for us to be able to contribute, to get behind this most important and only eternal work of our LORD transpiring in His earth as His children live in fervent expectation of His glorious and soon return.

This is not our home beloved saints of Christ. NO ONE is going to do His glorious Gospel work except HIS own children – and that’s us!

“WE are labourers TOGETHER with God.” 1 Corinthians 3:9

Jesus Christ is KING.

YOUR PRAYER OF REPENTANCE: Holy Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ and ask You to forgive my sin of self-idolatry, of spiritual adultery. I have lived in sin, in pride, in self-love and am now turning wholly to Thee my God – asking You to wash me clean, to clear my sin by Your precious blood LORD Jesus. Here and now I denounce all covetousness for the trinkets of this world and choose, from this moment forth, to be rich toward You dear LORD – in getting behind and fueling Your Gospel work in the earth. In the name of Jesus Christ – let’s roll Jesus! Amen.
