Those who feast on the Bread of life now will reign with Him forever (John 6). | The Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven

The Father of the feast at the banqueting table of Heaven’s KING is calling us to indulge, to partake, to have a “continual feast.” It begins now!

The LORD has called you to have a “continual feast” and how do we appropriate such? Read the whole verse closely beloved of God:

“All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.” Proverbs 15:15

As is often the case in Proverbs, the above verse offers a contrast – affliction vs feasting. A “continual feast” is only fueled and appropriated by a continual seeking of the LORD. As long as we seek the face of the LORD, there will be Heaven’s supply flowing into our hearts and lives and beaming out to a dark, lost world (Colossians 2:19).

Memorize:

“he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.” Proverbs 15:15

Divine virtue flows into and floods the lives of those who set their affection and sight upon Heaven’s soon coming KING. When Christ the Head is upheld by the individual saint, His “nourishment” is “ministered” into the disciple’s life and there is “the increase of God.”

“And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.” Colossians 2:18

“Holding” or upholding Christ the are seeking His face, His joy is going to fill your life – no matter what you face.

SNAPSHOT REVELATION: Do we recall…. While walking on the water with the Master, when Peter stopped seeking Jesus, when he removed his eyes from Christ, it was only then that he began to sink. Capture and own this truth for your whole natural life (Matthew 14).

WHEN you are continually feasting on the bless-ed bountiful banquet of the LORD’s table, merriment will fill your heart and divine glory your face. Are you experiencing a “continual feast”?

Memorize this:

“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.” 1 Chronicles 16:11

It’s only those who feast now who will feast later and forever. All others are like the foolish virgins who did not replenish the supply and therefore ran out of oil and were unable to make it to the wedding, the eternal bridal chamber. Read Matthew 25:1-13.

Wolves can be known in that they don’t get their prey in the Word for themselves (2 Timothy 2:15).

Going to be entertained on Sunday mornings as what some call “church” not replace daily Bible reading and prayer and the cross (Luke 9:23-24; 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Thessalonians 5:17, etc.).

Anyone not in God’s Word and living a life of prayer every day as they seek His holy face fervently, has told a LORD that He is not important to them and they will not make it (Matthew 25:1-13).

There is NO work, no-thing transpiring on the earth more important than the work of our LORD’s Gospel. Most of the other things are vying for your affections. Read Luke 21 and Colossians 3:1-4.

JESUS is coming – ready or not.

PRAYER: My Father in Heaven, I come to You now in the name of Jesus, confessing my sin of not seeking Your holy face with my whole heart. It’s rooted in the sin of pride, of self-idolatry. You alone are my God. Without You I can do nothing LORD Jesus. Please forgive my sins of self-idolatry and spiritual adultery. Please unite my heart to fear Thy holy name. Dear Father, please wash me clean in the precious blood of Jesus! I love You Jesus. Please fill and use me now! In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
