Two Absolute Necessities for Real Change, Reform, Revival, for God to Move!

There is a cry by many for revival – as if we are waiting on God. Not. God is waiting on those who call themselves His to repent, to lay down their life in this fleeting world, to deny self, take up the cross and follow Jesus authentically.

People seeking God, hungering for what is missing in their lives – JESUS – is a blessing. We know He is the One doing this because our LORD Jesus Christ told us that He’d “draw all men” to Himself after accomplishing the cross, perfect redemption! (John 12:32; 1 John 4:19) Yet wolves who capitalize upon, who exploit, and make merchandise of these people are diabolical~! (Matthew 21:15-17; 2 Peter 2:1-3, etc.).

The cry of the many for revival is a set up in most cases – where those wolves in sheep’s clothing call for revival while they set up the prey to receive a false “revival” which does not align with what we see in Holy Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

“When you’ve been to as many ‘revivals’ as I have been (in years past) yet never see anything of the Spirit revived in the attendees over several years, you come to realize (discern) that so-called revival meetings are just futile works of the flesh. Romans 8:8 et al.” Disciple of Christ

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1

If you want real revival, wait no longer! Don’t wait for some deceiver to announce that “God is moving in this place”! Obey Jesus now! Open God’s real Word, the King James Bible, and read it like your life and eternal souls depend upon it because they do! Come to full repentance. Lay down your life in this fleeting world, deny (disown) your own life, take up the cross (crucified life), and follow Jesus for real! (Luke 9:23-24; 13:3; 14:33; 17:33; 19:27, etc.)

When a man doesn’t open the Bible, the King James Bible, and preach, teach, communicate straight from the Scriptures, you know he’s false (2 Kings 22-23; Nehemiah 8:1-10; Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 4:16-17; Acts 17:2; 2 Timothy 4:2, etc.). Oh and this must be constant and perpetual, front and center – not casual or as a trite token gesture or afterthought.

“Bible study on Biblical Revival 2 Kings 22:14-23:27:
Here is the order of events: The prophet(ess) shares a prophecy of judgment. The King repents and intercedes for his people. The Lord hears and delays the judgment for the king’s lifetime. The king gathers all of his people to the Lord’s temple to hear Scripture read out loud. Then the King and his people make (or renew) a covenant with the Lord to follow His decrees and statutes with all of their hearts and minds. Then action is immediately taken (this is faith: belief in action) by clearing out all of the artifacts of pagan gods from the temple. The King defiled all of the high places and tore down the alters of pagan gods where God’s people had previously worshiped Baal, Ashtoreth, and Molech (the god of child sacrifice/abortion).” Renee Courtland

The word “revival” appears nowhere in God’s Word. “Repent”/ “Repentance” appear 72 times. Let’s get a clue. This is a message in and of itself. We don’t need man’s staged “revivals,” we need to repent before a Holy God!

God has not changed (Malachi 3:6; Mark 13:31). Man’s sin has greatly prevented His will and desire to bless, to pour out of His Holy Spirit. His arm is not shortened. When we draw nigh to the LORD, He will draw nigh to us! (READ Isaiah 59:1-2; James 4:8; Jeremiah 5:25; 29:11-14.) We must of absolute necessity come to the lord on His stated terms which begins with true repentance (Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38; 3:19, etc.).

Wicked men have made a multi-million dollar indu$try of “revival” and yet the word nor concept ever appears in Holy Scripture. This is only possible due to the biblical illiteracy of the counterfeits who claim to be saved (Hosea 4:6; Matthew 22:29; 2 Timothy 4:2-4).

God Blesses only Where His Written Word is Honored

When God’s Word is honored, thereby, where and when He pours out of His Holy Spirit on His people, it comes in conjunction with His people honoring His Word. Here are but few examples of such:

Nehemiah, Ezra and the elders: When the LORD’s people assembled, they read God’s Word directly to the people (Nehemiah 8).
Josiah: Reform, repentance, crushing idols, and change came as the Word of God was restored to the people (2 Kings 23).
Peter: The apostle preached God’s Word and 8,000 souls were saved (Acts 2, 4).
Jesus: When he went into the gathering of the people, He read from the Bible, the book of Isaiah (Luke 4:17).

Change, Reform Comes Only When God is Honored, Where His Word is Front and Center.

“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2

God uses Consecrated Men

Those He uses are holy. They readily admit their sin and fall on the mercy of the LORD and are then forgiven, refreshed, filled, and mightily used of God! See 2 Timothy 2:21; Isaiah 6; Matthew 21:15-17; Matthew 6:6, etc.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. 16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.” 2 Chronicles 7:14-16

Only crucified men are raised up and used of God (2 Corinthians 4:10-12).

The church of Philadelphia were commended by Christ. He said they “hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name” (Revelation 3:8). They kept, stayed strictly with and in His Word and continued to proclaim the name above all names – the name of Jesus!

Real vs Fake “Revival”

If we do see a great outpouring, it won’t be with unholy men such as the recent fake, planned, staged deception some called a “revival” promoted by the Vatican, where sodomites and occult labyrinths are celebrated (Asbury). The LORD judges sin like that. He doesn’t bless it. Where the LORD is truly working, God’s Word will be honored, esteemed, read, preached, communicated (Psalms 138:2). That’s how you will know if it’s “of God” or “NOT of God” (John 8:47). Peter PREACHED the Word on Pentecost and 8k souls were saved (Acts 2, 4). Any questions? The cross of Jesus Christ, His blood, and the cross He mandates that we take up will be preached if it’s a move of God. Phony “praise and worship” and “revival” idols will be slain.

Men, women, and children will seek the LORD in repentance. Souls will repent and be saved. Believers will seek and be baptized in the Holy Ghost as it was on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2, 4).

The following prophetic word from our LORD doesn’t indicate large crowds gathered in one specific place. And that makes sense – as God spreads His wealth (Matthew 9:35-38; Mark 16:15; Acts 8:4, etc.).

Acts 2
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

MESSAGE RECEIVED:

“The word revival, a synonym for it is rebirth. Now to be reborn is in the Bible is it not? Our country needs a serious case of rejuvenation. The Holy Spirit needs to set some folks on fire for Jesus.”

REPLY:

Yes God has not changed, and His arm, His power is not shortened or diminished whatsoever (Malachi 3:6;). Repentance is where revival begins. Read Isaiah 59:1-2…. we are NOT waiting on God – He’s waiting on individuals to repent and obey Him. James 4:8

Those not willing to die are unrepentant, loving their darkness, rather than light, rather than the light of truth given us of God in His Word (Psalms 119:105, 130; John 17:17, etc.). They are unrepentant. You can either die to self now in this temporal world, lay down your life and follow Jesus authentically, OR you will die the “second death” as you are cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15).

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3:19-21

“War makes many rich also. Yet the biblically illiterate support it and offer their children to Molech, believing they do God a service thereby. Just like the unsaved, they honor veterans as much as their apostate pastors.

Revivals are un-scriptural yet are so honored by the masses that few if any test (try) the spirits underlying them to know if they are of God or not. Most are content to look on outward appearance to judge, directly contradicting the command of Jesus Christ, who instructed us to ‘Judge righteous judgment’ (John 7:24).”

“I hear it all the time and I get chided, as if something is wrong with me for not praying for revival in America. Problem is: what is called the church today is under the impression that Americans as a whole are saved and just need reviving. Probably due to hirelings and wolves subtly preaching replacement theology for a long, long time. The remedy will always be the gospel of the kingdom of God, preached, adhered too, and followed daily. Why Did God Give Us His Word? [podcast]

The 4 Pillar Purposes for the Holy Scriptures

There are 4 reasons detailed in 2 Timothy 3:16 for the Holy Scriptures being given to us by God. Under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, the apostle Paul wrote:

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16

According to this verse, the Bible, God’s very Word, has been given to the people of God for 4 reasons: Doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. Let us take a brief look at these 4 reasons for the written Word so carefully presented here concerning the very purpose of the Bible.

Doctrine – (Gr. DIDASKALIA): that which is taught; teaching, instruction. An individual’s doctrinal body of truth consists of that which he has been taught and holds to be true.

Reproof – (Gr. ELEGMOS): proof, proving, test. As the noble Berean believers demonstrate and John commands, to test every doctrine that comes from the mouth or pen of men, against the holy Standard – the Scriptures. This is, in part, what is being spoken to us by the Holy Spirit in this verse at hand. Therefore, we conclude that we have been given “All scripture” in order to exercise “reproof,” or the testing of men’s doctrines against Holy Writ and to test every notion of belief we currently hold against the divine standard of the written Word which is final divine authority (Acts 17:10-11; 1 John 4:1).

Correction – (Gr. EPANORTHOSIS): a restoration to an upright state or right state. The Scriptures are “given by inspiration of God” to bring correction into our own hearts, and into the hearts of all who heed the divine message (James 1:21-25).

Instruction in Righteousness – (Gr. PAIDEIA): training in righteousness is what is meant here. The Bible is given to train us in the ways of the One who inspired the same. The divinely given Precepts of life can never fail anyone who would search out and do its commands (Isaiah 34:16). All of life’s answers, as pertains to man, are found within its pages (2 Peter 1:3-4; Psalms 119:128a). Millions of godly pilgrims, journeying through this earthly life, has found the perfect divine will and direction by studying the words of Holy Scripture (Psalms 119).

The verse following this monumental 16th verse, v17, also reveals to us another reason for the Scriptures – “That the man of God may be perfect (mature), throughly furnished (equipped) unto all good works.” This maturity will come as a result of the workings of God as we walk with Him. He will teach our hearts His doctrine, His correction, His reproof, and instruct us in righteousness.

In review, what are the 4 reasons that God gave us His Word in written form?

The Bible was written to CHANGE you – TO CORRECT FALSE THINKING – and not to accommodate the lies you believe. Are you washing your mind of every false notion – by daily study of God’s Word, OR are you backslidden? (Romans 12:2; Ephesians 5:26) Repent now and conform to Christ by learning, embracing, adhering to, searching, studying, and obeying His truth (2 Timothy 3:16-17). WHY DID GOD GIVE US HIS WORD? WHAT are the stated 4 reasons God gave us His Word? Do you know this truth, and are you ready to share it with others?

You are obviously saved when you are putting God’s Word as final divine authority of your life and that’s pleasing to the LORD (John 8:47). When we allow God’s Word to correct us, we prove He is authentically the LORD of our lives (2 Timothy 3:16).

SOFT-PEDDLING, HALF-TRUTH preachers are Satan’s agents. No conviction, no cross, no holiness, no repentance, no readiness for the return of Christ, no judgment to come, no hell, no lake of fire! RUNNNNNN

WHY did God give us His Word? It was to establish His truth in and to protect His people from the many deceivers – “them that seduce you.”

“These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.” 1 John 2:26

God gave us His Word so that we may be established in him and kept safe from the “Many false prophets” He so often warned us about. He provided His written Word, his tangible revelation, so that we may fear Him (Deuteronomy 4:10), and so we can know Him (John 5:39). As you study Scripture, be on the look out for the many divinely stated reasons our LORD gave us His written Word.

Oh you all the time hear frauds telling you how they “got therapy” and that “you need therapy” or “counseling.” Yet, they would never say “You need Jesus”, or “you need His Word, to get into His Word.” (2 Timothy 2:15; 3:15-17, etc.)

100% frauds. Antichrists – due to putting something, anything in place of Jesus Christ (1 John 2:18:4:1-3). They refuse to uphold the “HEAD” of His body, from whom alone flows all divine virtue (Colossians 2:18-19). Jesus is the only answer to the core dilemma of mankind – sin. Counseling and therapy from other sinners, rebels, will only increase the curse on the lives of rebels. Repent now you vile enemy of Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:18-19).

All anxiety and stress is lack of faith and reliance on self. This is all sin! I know from experience when you truly repent and begin to trust Jesus with your life, you no longer live in worry, fear, anxiety and stress. Jesus already paid the full price for you to be whole – spirit, soul, and body! (Isaiah 53:5-6; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Peter 2:24, etc.) Therefore there’s no need to pay some fraud counselor who is going to take your money but never give you the Word which is the only solution. The “Christian” counselors will mix a few Scriptures from a fake “bible” and and psychobabble. Repent and run. Now.

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:24-25

“All things that pertain unto life and godliness”

“According as his divine power hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4

ALL of God’s answers are in HIS Word, His Holy Ghost, and His body (2 Peter 1:3-4). Jesus makes whole, not therapy. Beware of the cheap counterfeit psychobabble. Read Colossians 2:3-10.

“And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” Colossians 2:3-10

No one needs psychology to notice and understand the flaws of the fallen man, of fallen in sin mankind. Psychology is a cheap imitation that offers zero solutions. The fathers of modern psychology were all unrepentant and vile and sinfully perverted men, children of satan. Jesus alone can forgive sin and make a man whole (Matthew 9:6; Luke 4:18, etc.). That’s why Heaven’s King came. Every other promise is a lie. The world has no answer for the sin that is the root cause of all of man’s ailments (Genesis 6:5, 12; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 1-3; 6-7, etc.). Jesus saves. Jesus forgives. Jesus makes whole – from the inside out – all the way to the root of the issue! Christ alone is the cure to the cancer of sin!

“2 Corinthians 7: 1 God commands us to cleanse ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh. We need to be perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Counseling only feeds the flesh. It tries to reform it and keeps you the victim by saying it’s not your fault it’s all caused by things done to you. Therefore you have no responsibility for yourself. We are to be sanctified through the word of God. John 17: 17, not by some Psycho-Babble. Jesus can make us whole spirit, soul and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23.” Karen Cochran

The unrepentant will pay big money and endless hours on mere human “counselors.” Rebels will do anything except repent!

The “Christian” counseling industry is a multi-million dollar enterprise and the perpetuators of such are incentivized financially to keep you reliant upon them. 99% of these “counselors” won’t get their prey into God’s Word for themselves. Most of them use fake “bibles.” How gullible can people be, right!

Paul charged Timothy to get into the Word. “YOU do it!”

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

There will be no healing or wholeness until there is real repentance and a daily devouring of God’s Word, denying self, taking up the cross, and follow Jesus (Joshua 1:8; Psalms 107:20; Matthew 6:33; Luke 9:23-24).

“Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: 2 That walk to go down into Egypt (the world), and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7

Getting Honest is the First Step Toward Total Victory

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

Jesus taught us that man’s sin comes out of his “desperately wicked” heart (Jer17:9; Mark 7:20-23).

The devil and his agents have created a million ways to divert us from stopping our lives, getting honest, taking personal responsibility, humbling ourselves, admitting our sins against God, and repenting.
