Is God faithful to save us if we aren’t faithful to Him, if we deny Him? [podcast]
Would GOD Ever Deny One of His Own People? What Does Scripture Teach?
The Word of God is the truth (John 17:17). Something isn’t true just because you want it to be true. It’s true because the LORD says it – in the context of the whole of His Word (Romans 3:3-4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17, etc.).
Those not honest with the Bible demonstrate that they aren’t honest with its Author (John 8:47; 2 Timothy 4:2-4).
MESSAGE FROM SOMEONE MAKING A VAIN ATTEMPT TO JUSTIFY OSAS/ETERNAL SECURITY:
“‘If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny ‘himself.'” 2 Timothy 2:13
REPLY:
“IF WE DENY HIM, HE ALSO WILL DENY US” immediately precedes what you plucked out of its context. Let’s read the context, okay? Read this passage and you will see just how misled you are and how you’ve allowed false teachers to deceive you. READ the passage – just three verses.
2 Timothy 2:11 “It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:”
2 Timothy 2:12 “If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:”
2 Timothy 2:13 “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”
This passage does not say that God cannot and will not deny us. In fact, it explicitly states that “if we deny him, he also will deny us.” The text says here that “he cannot deny HIMSELF” and also that He will deny us if we deny Him. Case closed. Daily we either deny self or the Savior. “No man can serve two masters.” (Matthew 6:24)
Nothing could be clearer than the truth that God is faithful to Himself and exclusively to those who remain faithful to Him.
The LORD is faithful and He is also just. Anyone who chooses to deny Him, will be denied by Him. Nothing could be more clear in God’s Word.
“Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.” Luke 12:8-9
“The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but IF ye forsake him, he will forsake you.” 2 Chronicles 15:2
“Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” Romans 11:20-22
IF you leave the LORD, HE’s leaving you…. let’s get a clue. You are personally responsible to be saved and to “abide” which simply means to continue, to remain rooted and grounded in Christ (John 15:1-6, etc.). If not, you will be cast into the fire (John 15:6). Every person peddling the once saved always saved/eternal security heresy is incontrovertibly an “ungodly” man, an agent of Satan himself (Genesis 2:17; 3:4; Jude 4, etc.).
“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Peter 2:20-21
The LORD never claimed salvation can’t be lost. The Son abideth (remains) forever, not sheep who stray, who rebel and do not abide in the Son, who are committing sin instead of being made free by obeying Him. Read this passage: John 8:34-38.
Seems like He’s saying that the servant who lives in sin instead of continuing with Christ, the truth, “abideth not in the house for ever.”
This passage makes it clear that God requires those He saves to continue in His Word, to continue obeying Him, and as they do, they will be made free from living in sin. To the contrary, those who after being saved do not continue in an abiding relationship with Jesus, will become the servants of sin and will not abide in the LORD’s house.
Jesus Christ is God and His Place with the Father, in the Father’s House, is Fixed, Unalterable, Unchanging, Not Yours.
OSAS/eternal security is a lie from hell. OSAS was Satan’s first lie and so it’s blasphemy to teach this doctrine of devils and claim it’s part of the Gospel. You are attributing Satan’s lie to the LORD Jesus. Repent now sinner. See Genesis 2:17; 3:4; Romans 11:20-22; 1 Timothy 4:1; Hebrews 3:6, 12-14; 10:26-39; 2 Peter 2:20-21; Jude 4, etc..
The concept of an un-conditional eternal security is not established in Scripture … Except for it being Satan’s first teaching, His first lie – the “Ye shall NOT surely die” lie (Genesis 2:17; 3:4).
Those who don’t continue with Christ on His stated terms, will be “cut off” and cast into the fires of hell (John 15:6; Romans 11:20-22).
Those who foolishly espouse the myth of eternal security/once saved always saved, do so because they worship self, not the Savior. Their heretical theology is built around what caters to them, to their sin, and not Christ who is “Holy, holy, holy.” (Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8; 1 Peter 1:18-19, etc.). They’ve made a god in their own evil image and are idolaters.
We are either servants to sin or the Savior (Romans 6:16).
Only the truth will make you free – but only if you obey it -if not you will be a slave to sin and removed from the LORD’s house. That’s exactly what Jesus is teaching.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, IFFFF ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall MAKE you free (from living in sin).
John 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
John 8:35 And the servant abideth (remains) not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall MAKE you free, ye shall be free indeed.
John 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
John 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Most notably here, beginning in v. 31, Jesus doesn’t tell these new believers that they are “eternally secure” or “once saved always saved” as do the false teachers of our day. No, the Son of God informs them that only “IF” they “continue” in His Word, will they be confirmed as His disciples, His true followers, and His truth will make (a process) them free. Justification is immediate and must be followed up with corresponding obedience or such a person will be fallen back into sin.
Those who do not continue with Christ after He saves them will not remain in His house, in His family. They will be the slaves of sin, not the friends, the bride, the body of the Savior.
“Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to CONTINUE in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22
Salvation, your place with the LORD is not an automatically fixed position. God never removes free will from His people. Love is always volitional.
“In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 IFFF ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;” Colossians 1:22-23
“Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 THAT he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:25-27
Read 1 John 3.
Those who balk at and ignore that Jesus says you MUST “endure to the end” to be “saved” into eternal glory, simply do not love Him (Matthew 10:22; 24:13, etc.). Jesus is not worth their life. They were worth His life which He gave for them on the cross, yet the Son of God is not worth giving up their own life in this fleeting world. Counterfeits. These are the frauds who hide behind the eternal security sham.
“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33
Our LORD is greater than all sin and will forgive… if we simply humble ourselves in honesty and admit, confess, and forsake our sin (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 1:9, etc.).
We are “espoused” to Christ the Bridegroom, not yet married, not consummated, not in the bridal chamber yet. You may be a King’s kid but you’re not home yet. If you are born again and presently abiding with Jesus in HIS terms and no other, you are engaged to be married and spend eternity with Him in the New Jerusalem, in Heaven. Yet this will not happen, this engagement will be canceled, if you choose to commit spiritual adultery on Him and lust after the whims, the sinful desires of the god of self.
“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused (engaged) you to one husband (Jesus, Bridegroom), that I may present you as a chaste (pure) virgin to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:2
Do You want to see who the Real Heaven Bound Remnant of Christ are?
Anyone not about the “Father’s business,” anyone claiming to be saved and yet is not engaged in the Great Commission Jesus gave, is about his own business and proves to be a Hell bound self-idolater (Matthew 7:21; Luke 2:49; Revelation 21:8).
Jesus wasn’t about His own but rather stated “I must be about my Father’s business” (Luke 2:49). If we are truly following Jesus, we are owned by HIS agenda, HIS “business” and not our own. You have to lose your life in this world to gain it in Christ’s eternal kingdom (Luke 17:33). The cross. We must be crucified so that self-will is put to death, is put firmly under foot and we cry with our LORD Jesus “not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:42).
Those unfaithful to God’s Word, are unfaithful to Him (John 14:15, 21; 1 John 2:3-6, etc.). Many claim to be engaged to the Great Bridegroom of Heaven while committing adultery on the glorious Son of God. They shall be irrevocably shut out of His eternal abode (Matthew 25:1-13; Revelation 19:7-10).
Simply put, those who truly follow Jesus are about His “business” of making Him known to the lost and feeding His flock (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; Acts, etc.).
May God break our hearts today for that which breaks His holy heart (Psalms 34:18; 55:17).
Souls who Chose to Rebel
Did God spare the 14,700 of His own people when they rebelled in the sin of Korah? No. Read Numbers 16.
Did God spare the 24,000 of His own covenant people when they committed idolatry and fornication in the camp? No. Read Numbers 25.
Through the cross life – the death and burial of the self-life – He makes us holy, sets us apart to Himself. Notice in the verse below that “holiness” and “everlasting life” are inseparable (Hebrews 12:14). Read Romans 6.
“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto HOLINESS, and the end EVERLASTING LIFE.” Romans 6:22
“Holiness” is essential to “everlasting life.”
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14
“Looking unto Jesus,” “striving against sin,“ seeking to “Be ye holy” is not works salvation, it’s the obedient expression of love to the LORD for all who love Him truly (John 14:15, 21; 15:14; Hebrews 12:1-4; 1 John 2:3-6; 3:1-10, etc.). All others are Cain-ish counterfeits who do things their own way and not God’s. Hell awaits (Mark 9:43-49 KJB; Titus 1:16).
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16
God expects our obedience to Him (John 14:15). Obeying God proves we love Him (John 15:14).
“If ye love me, keep my commandments … He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me.” John 14:15, 21
Those who don’t obey Jesus clearly demonstrate that they do not love Him. They love self and therefore have refused to obey Him by crucifying sinful self so Jesus can reign.
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” Luke 9:23-24
The cross: There’s no other way to serve Christ.

“You Who are Troubled Rest with Us” [podcast]

Many instill fear in Christ’s saints concerning these last days. Paul says: “You Who are Troubled Rest with Us”
“Rest with us” because Justice is Coming
2 Thessalonians 1:3-10
3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
The Judgment at Christ’s Coming
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
Divine “vengeance” is coming “vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:” (v8)
Remember, while He instructed us not “avenge,” He also promised that “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19
We shall rejoice to see the LORD retribution come upon the wicked.
“The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. 11 that a man shall say, 11 1 So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.” Psalms 58:10-11
The Happenings just before Christ’s Soon Return
Luke 21:25-28
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25-28
Being Prepared for His Return
Luke 21:34-36
“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36
Walking unwavering with and suffering with Christ and His body now – as we look forward to being with Him!
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
The LORD knows all before it happens and He’s not surprised of anything. God is going to use all these things to conform His people to Christ. Remember, all things are not good but God takes them and uses them to conform us to Christ, to be “crucified with Christ.” (Galatians 2:20).
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Romans 8:28-29
This truth has never been so relevant saints of Christ and the signs of the season of His return are at hand. He’s coming for you precious one!!!! Rescue mission!!! The Return of Heaven’s KING
May God allow us to preach in such a way as to cause His people to begin to be homesick for Heaven to be with Him.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
I wonder how full our hearts will be as we become nourished up in His Word concerning Heaven. Will our hearts not burst forth and be filled with excitement, overflowing with joy like before we go on a vacation, the anticipation filling our hearts as we eagerly await being with our glorious Savior and Father? Read John 14:1-6 and Revelation 21.
Calling on the name above all names today. He’s the Maker and Controller of His whole universe and He’s coming back soon to retake control of it all – to decisively, violently put down all of His enemies both demonic and human (Colossians 1:16-17; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Revelation 19:11-16).
No matter what’s going on – good or bad – WE KNOW that the song is true …. that our “God is so good, God is soooo gooood, God is so good, He’s so good to me…..” … There’s NO way to sing this simple song of praise and not get happy in Jesus! Impossible.
Our LORD Jesus is coming to establish His perfect Government on His earth. Stand by. Occupy. Rejoice. Look up. “Your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28).
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7
We can be sure that mankind is fallen and cannot solve his own problem – which is sin against His Maker. Only the Prince of Peace, our LORD Jesus, can do so…. and He will (Isaiah 9:6-7).
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14
He is going to crush His enemies under His feet (Romans 16:20; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Revelation 19:11-16; 1 Corinthians 15:25, 27).
PRAYER: Holy Father, in the name of Jesus, please break me, cause me to be truly poor in spirit with a humble, contrite heart of flesh. Please grant a deep compassion in me dear LORD Jesus as You conform me to Your holy image in the crucified life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Humility. Surrender. Sobriety. Restoration. Vigilance. [podcast]

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1 Peter 5:6-10
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16
“But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens.” Hebrews 7:24-26
May God bless you and I with this child-like disposition, heart! Please do it in us dear LORD, in Jesus’ name.

LORD Please Prepare and Send Me! [podcast]

So you don’t do anything for anyone except yourself and yet you claim to be saved? Nah. Real repentance, will always, with no exception, bring for a new life, the life of Christ, full of fruit that bears witness to His lordship in that life (Matthew 3:7-10).
Of Isaiah’s repentance and preparation to be used of God, one writer notes:
“This phrase is a powerful, timeless prayer for spiritual readiness and a willing heart to serve. It echoes the beautiful biblical passage from Isaiah 6:8, where Isaiah responds to God’s call saying, “Here am I; send me.”
WHEN you ask God to use you, get ready, He’s going to do it. He’s going to prepare and launch you into His fields which are “white already to harvest” (John 4:34-38).
Sometimes I’ve been through seasons of testing, chastening, stripping, purging, etc., not remembering I had prayed for the LORD to prepare and send me. Then it would dawn on me and all began to make sense. God is able. Memorize 2 Timothy 2:21 KJB.
When the LORD appeared to him, the prophet Isaiah was shown his own depravity, his own wicked heart, his own unpreparedness. What was his response and how does this relate to us?
Are you ready this day to say “Jesus please prepare and use me mightily for Your eternal glory! I love You LORD. I am all Yours! Please do Your deeper work in this life You gave!”?
One must be prepared by God to be used by God.
“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:21
To the degree that we allow God to prepare us, to that degree shall He powerfully use us. The cross. The only way up is down beloved.
Is today your day to surrender afresh? John 3:30, Colossians 3:3 anyone?
Prepared by God to be Used of God (category)
Regrettably, most professing Christians will never love Jesus enough to give up this fleeting world for Heaven’s coming King (Luke 14:33; 17:33).
Have you ever pondered why there is little or no Scripture being used when listening to someone pretending to be speaking about the LORD? You should wonder (Matthew 7:16, 20; 1 John 4:1).
“Preach the word” is the divine mandate, command, and also “do the work of an evangelist” (2 Timothy 4:2,5).
Let us cease to pretend that we represent the LORD when everything we say isn’t coming straight out of His Word. Read that again please. He didn’t instruct us to entertain or to tell stories. He commanded us to preach HIS Word. King James Bible.
“If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles (written Word) of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11
Think God is calling you to serve? Good. If He has saved you, He has called you (Ephesians 2:8-10; 4:7). Get lost in His Word every day (Jeremiah 15:16). Read it (Revelation 1:3). Study it (2 Timothy 2:15). Memorize it (Proverbs 4:4). Meditate upon it day and night (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1). THAT’s your prep for ministry, not going to an antichrist seminary. Jesus inducted you into His school of the Holy Ghost and Word the moment He saved you.
Are you daily devouring God’s Word, OR are you backsliding?
“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16
God Visits Isaiah
If we’re not talking about the holiness of the one true God—that He is “Holy, holy, holy” —what false god are we speaking of?
Isaiah 6
Isaiah’s Calling/Vision of the Lord
“1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
Isaiah’s Commission from the Lord
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
In Your process of preparing this vessel, when needed, please “Let the righteous smite me….” (Psalms 141:5).
HAVE YOU ever prayed this prayer? Do you want to be a man after God’s own heart like David? (Acts 13:22) If so, you must emulate the beloved David and pray this prayer!
“There is no better test of a man’s ultimate chivalry and integrity than how he behaves when he is wrong.” — G.K. Chesterton
IF you are not a DOER of God’s Word, it proves you are not saved, and are a lukewarm hell bound rebel. Repent now and bring forth fruit to prove it (Matthew 3:7-10; 7:21; Titus 1:16; 1 John 2:4; Revelation 2:26, etc.).
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22
May I be a doer of Your Word dear LORD. Let it be, in Jesus’ name.
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21
