Brothers in Christ, as you well know, repentance/repenting is a Gospel essential and is a major component and first divine command of the original Gospel message (Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Luke 13:3, 5; Acts 2:38; 3:19, etc.). I do believe we should simply speak the Word itself and allow the Author Himself to be the Convicter and Teacher and acknowledge that He has commanded that all men repent (Acts 17:30). He would never command men to do something He doesn’t initiate and quicken and allow them to do …. And expect as a condition for them to do to be saved. The LORD gives all men free will and the ability to choose Him or sin. "Repent" was the first command of the original – out of the mouths of JTB, Jesus, and the apostles. It’s a major component of the original Gospel.
Let’s preach His cross brothers. We are in utter need of His saving grace today which He so freely dispenses into the lives of those who choose to does things HIS way.
