Kay Arthur Interview Examined:

There are some good things in her message and some falsehoods … We should be very careful … Slipping in small, deadly notions into an otherwise sound message, is perhaps Satan’s most deceitful and deadly weapon. This is why it is so very important that we diligently and daily study and memorize God’s Word (2 Timothy 2:15, etc.). Remember that it was but one 3-letter word that Satan added to what God had told the first man and woman that led to their fall (Genesis 2:17; 3:4).

THIS MERE WOMAN HAS “WRITTEN OVER 100 BOOKS” BUT DOES THAT MAKE HER THE AUTHORITY? NO! THE DIVINE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR TEACHER ACCORDING TO JESUS AND HIS HOLY APOSTLES (JOHN 14:26; 16:13-14; 1 JOHN 2:20, 27, ETC.). YES, GOD HAS PLACED SCRIBES, SERVANTS, ELDERS, ETC. IN HIS BODY AND YET, THEIR PRIMARY CALLING IS TO POINT PEOPLE TO CHRIST HIMSELF THROUGH HIS WORD (1 CORINTHIANS 2:1-5; GALATIANS 6:14; 1 PETER 4:11; EPHESIANS 4:11-15, ETC.). ONE WAY THE LORD HAS ALWAYS UTILIZED THE TEACHING OF HIS WORD IS THROUGH WRITTEN FORMAT (BOOKS) AND SO THE PREMISE OF CHRIST-CENTERED BOOKS IS BIBLICAL AND YET, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF MUST BE THE FOREMOST AND GRAND SUBJECT OF THOSE SCRIPTURE-RICH RESOURCES, NOT A MAN, WOMAN, OR MINISTRY (JOHN 1:1; 5:39; COLOSSIANS 2:6-10, 18-19, ETC.).

The point is not that she is a false teacher but that we must discern keenly and test all things against Holy Scripture – Including anything and all that comes from this disciple (Galatians 1:6-9).

“For what if some did not believe (the truth of God)? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” Romans 3:3-4

Praise God that truth is of divine origin and not subject to mere sinful man’s perversion of it.

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:19-21

God’s written Word is the final authority for all true disciples of Jesus Christ. Have you memorized 2 Timothy 3:16?

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16

Case in point as to how insidious Satan can be through Bible teachers ……

There are some good things in her message and some falsehoods …. We should be very careful ….

She insinuates that Jesus became an adulterer and child molester, etc., on the cross … No … Jesus was the sin offering – the perfect, sinless Lamb of God – the One offered for our sins … Also, notice that at the end Kay quotes a new per-version corrupted version of Romans 8:1-2. It leaves out something God intended to be there. Compare the King James and the new versions:

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2

In the new corruptions that are called Bibles, v1 is chopped in half. This is missing: “who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” So, in the new versions, only one condition is listed when God stated two conditions. This leads to and lends itself to the diabolical OSAS (once saved always saved – unconditional eternal security) teaching.

Let’s continue to learn to discern and to judge all things by/against God’s Word as did the disciples at Berea:

“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11

Just because someone is heralded and advertised as a popular Bible teacher does not mean they are not slipping in ever-so-subtle deceptions into their messages (wittingly or unwittingly). The apostle Paul included himself into the equation of testing even the things he would come back and teach and even “an angel from HEAVEN (not hell)”! (Galatians 1:6-9) Beware beloved!

Besides heralding the writings of this mere woman, also notice that at the end the guy hosting the show Kay Authur is being interviewed on directs people to go to “lightsource” and not God’s Word. We must make sure we are directing people to the only Source of life and truth – the LORD almighty (Colossians 2:18-19). Pointing souls to Christ (not a ministry) and therefore His written Word is most essential. They don’t need us but they do need Him! “NOT holding the Head” … (Colossians 2:18-19)

Everyone desires the joy of the LORD, right? Yes, yet only those who are willing to devour His Word – to get it into their hearts and keep it flowing into their hearts, will experience that great joy of the LORD which is our strength! In context, the joy of the LORD is the strength of those who read it, hear it, embrace it, adhere to it, and keep it flowing into their mind and heart daily! (Nehemiah 8:8, 10)

“So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly (directly), and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. … 10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:8, 10

After they had feasted on God’s Word, the elders of Israel said to them: You are now full of the Word. Now “Go your way”, that is, go home and be blessed to “send portions” of the bounty of the LORD you’ve been filled with today to overflowing. “Freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8) Let your cup run over and bless others! Let your light shine into others, may your cup run over onto others, to bless them with the bountiful blessings of the LORD you have received.

We have to eat the fat and drink the sweet of the Word of God to be filled with the joy of the LORD which is our strength!

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

Nourishing the Body of Christ

“If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” 1 Timothy 4:6

DO people know they can find the rich treasures of God’s Word when they walk into your life, when they visit your social media page? (Colossians 3:16) Will they be “nourished” by the milk and meat of God’s bless-ed Word when they are graced to be in your company?

“There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise.” Proverbs 21:20

Holy Father, we ask You in the name of Jesus to make us happy in Jesus as You’ve forgiven and freed us from our sin and so of all people on Your earth, only Your people can be truly happy in Thee dear LORD. Please bless each of Your beloved saints to be anointed for the death and burial of the self life and raised up in Your blessed resurrection grace and joy. In Jesus’ name let it be dear LORD.

What’s the difference between true and false servants of the LORD?

Jeremiah 23 is essential concerning recognizing the “MANY false prophets” which Jesus foretold would “deceive MANY” in this late hour before His return (Matthew 24:11).

True servants of the LORD stand in the counsel, the WORD of the LORD and not in the evil imaginations, dreams, or visions of their own wicked hearts.

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.
17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?
19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

ARE YOU in God’s Word daily or have you backslidden? It’s either one or the other.

True servants of the LORD, as was the case with Paul and Timothy, will get YOU into God’s Word for yourself…

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” 1 Peter 2:2

So both the LORD’s apostle Paul and the apostle Peter instructed believers to get into the Word of God for themselves – to “study” and to “desire” it. Any man pretending to represent Christ and not do this very thing repeatedly is a bona fide wolf in sheep’s clothing, a devil.

Imagine parents who continued to feed their infant and never taught that baby to pick up the spoon and feed themself…. so that child would perpetually be dependent upon someone else feeding them…. in the natural this is unheard of, yet it’s rampant in that which claims to be Christ’s “church.”

Read Jeremiah 23.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ⁸Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
