Kingdom Now / Dominionism Delusion

WHO has Dominion Over the Earth???

“Every man at his best state is altogether vanity.” Psalms 39:5

Recently I read the purpose statement on a website. It was befuddling at best. The stated purpose is that he is:

“…dedicated to one objective. Arm and train God’s Army of Spiritual believers to take the battle to the enemy and take back Earth. Our purpose is to provide effective teachings based upon biblical foundations and tactical principles taken from the wars and conflicts of the Bible. We offer these products and programs so that you may learn to rock and rule and reign in the spiritual battlespace.”

Do you see anything unbiblical here?

WHO’s coming back to “take back the earth”?

“For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:21

Can mere man do that or must God do it? After all, whose earth is it?

“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Psalms 24:1

Simple biblical truth dispels any such foolish notion of trying to “take back the earth.” King Jesus is coming. He is the“Prince of Peace” and there will only be peace on earth when He comes back to take back His earth (Isaiah 9:6-7). Be not deceived!

Man in place of Christ, overcoming the enemy? Jesus not needed? Simply put, this is antichrist self-actualization where mere men think to assert themselves as the hero of the day who is going to win back the day from the enemy of all souls. But the Bible says that mankind failed in sin for over 4,000 years and then it was only Jesus who defeated Satan on that cross.

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:14-15

Christ is the conquering King of all kings and LORD of all lowly lords.

“For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.” Job 19:25

NOT even the highest ranking war angel from God/Heaven battles Satan in his own strength – “Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” (Jude 9)

Don’t be a gullible dupe friend. This whole spiritual warfare, dominionism, kingdom now foolishness in the so-called “prophetic/apostolic movement” is rooted in luciferic pride. Note that in eternity past, it was Lucifer who rebelled in Heaven and vainly thought he was going to take over Heaven and God Almighty:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” Isaiah 14:12-15

When Jesus sees this pride in His own people, He rebukes them and tells them to rejoice only in the divine mercy that has been shown our undeserving, depraved souls.

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:17-20

The archangel Michael, who is infinitely more powerful than mere man, is said here to not have spoken foolishly concerning Satan. Even he stood in the authority of Christ the LORD alone, saying to the devil “The Lord rebuke thee.”
