Wolves Who Wield Twisted Swords
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11
What many today do is confuse unconditional love with God-given free will and they erroneously equate unconditional love with unconditional acceptance, which is a lie. Even though He’s “not willing that any should perish,” God will love us all the way into hell if we choose not to turn back to Him (2 Peter 3:9). Any person who does not meet His conditions will spend eternity separated from Him in the lake of fire. An honest, thorough reading of Holy Scripture seems to yield the truth that His love is unconditional but not His acceptance. God will love someone all the way to hell if they don’t repent. Remember how the father of the prodigal son did NOT go and force or coerce his wayward son to come back home but it was only when he returned to his father that he was blessed, restored? (Luke 15)
“Accepted in the Beloved”
“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:6
Those who die in sin instead of “in the beloved” LORD Jesus, are not abiding in and are not in Him and will not be “accepted” into glory.
“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not …” 1 John 3:5-6
Did Jesus teach “one and done”? No!
To those who are His, Christ said:
“Every branch IN ME … If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:2, 6
After being saved, those who are living in sin are simply not in the Savior. God is Holy and just and will damn to hell each and every person who dies in sin instead of in Christ (Revelation 21:8, 27, etc.).
It should be kept in mind that unconditional love does not equal unconditional acceptance. That’s lasciviousness and a denial of volumes of Scripture which divinely guarantee that the person who dies in certain sins was not abiding in Christ, meeting the conditions and will be cast into the lake of fire (Galatians 5:19-21; Revelation 21:8, 27, etc.).
One believer notes:
“The parable of the prodigal son: Did the father ACCEPT his son when he came home? Yes, he did. All that is necessary is to come home. Turn about and come home. Yes, you can walk away from your father’s love all the way to hell and never come home. THE father is an unconditional accepter of those who stay home or come home. If one stays away one misses out on the acceptance. Coming home means coming to or coming back to Christ in faith.”
— THOSE who truly serve the LORD are known from the noble fact that they derive their theology straight from God’s Word. They are humble and teachable and say wit the apostle Paul “Let God be true and EVERY man a liar.” (Romans 3:4) Oh and when Paul says “Let God be true and EVERY man a liar,” that includes and actually begins with self themselves! In fact, this is exactly how Jesus tells us that we know who is “of God” and who is “not of God.” Watch this closely:
“He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are NOT of God.” John 8:47
Did you catch how we know, we discern someone is “of God” and those who are “not of God”? Read His words again above and memorize this truth.
Now in contrast, those counterfeit tares who only want to selfishly use Jesus to miss hell, have concocted their image of “God” from God-less devils who pose as Christian leaders and teach men that they are not personally responsible to repent, literally obey God and live a holy life. Sound familiar?
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:2-4
The LORD makes it clear to all in His Word that we who are His must make our “calling and election sure.” This means that such is not automatic.
“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for IF IF IF ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:10-11
ORIGINS: OSAS (once saved always saved) was taught by Satan to the very first man and woman and to all who get right with God. This is how Satan reclaims a once saved soul, robbing the holy fear of God from their hearts and causing them to “fall away.” (Luke 8:13) Read Genesis 2:17 and 3:4 and note the 1 3-letter word Satan added that led to the fall of mankind then and now! “not”
Paul, who had all the opportunity in the world to tell those new believers he spoke to that they are “eternally secure” and “once saved always saved,” did no such thing. Such teaching is never found in Scripture other than as the message of Satan himself and false prophets (Genesis 2:17; 3:4; Jeremiah 23:17; Jude 3-4, etc.).
“They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.” Jeremiah 23:17
Lies and Half-Truths $ell!
—– “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.” Revelation 2:26
—- WHO shall be trust? Shall we follow the false evangelical, the OSAS and calvinist wolves … or shall we trust, believe, obey, and follow Jesus?
“Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” Revelation 3:4-5
IF such were not possible, why O why would the very Son of God give such a warning?
“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” Revelation 3:11
Let’s face it, withholding essential biblical truths that bring conviction sells. You can build a good church or ministry business by making merchandise of your audience in deliberately choosing to dodge out such truths as sin, laying down your life, the necessity of repentance and personal holiness, judgment to come, eternal damnation – hell, the lake of fire, the daily cross, cleansing oneself of all sin, etc.
Here’s a good description of wolves and how they operate:
“That’s what the sociopaths, wolves, and devils do they ‘blend’ in pretending to be something they are not so they can destroy.” Sherry J.
The withholding of these and other essential biblical doctrines and the simple refusal to teach them straight from God’s Word, makes the wolves in Christian leadership positions today the one most deadly, dangerous, and daunting enemies of eternal souls.
Not only did Jesus’ apostle Paul not tell the new believers that they were “eternally secure” or “once in grace always in grace,” but rather he told them they must “continue (endure, abide) in the faith” and warned them of “much tribulation” to be endured as a follower of Jesus (Acts 14:22). Isn’t this exactly what Christ taught? (Matthew 10:22; 24:10-13) Paul taught us that we must “endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” (2 Timothy 2:3)
The Son of God warned us that because “iniquity (sin) shall abound” that “the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matthew 24:10-13) This simply means that like the five foolish virgins, “many” who once served the LORD will “fall away.” (Matthew 25:1-13; Luke 8:13; 1 Timothy 4:1, etc.)
This is a frightening warning and a reality in these final hours before our LORD’s return. In Timothy 3:1-7 Paul gives us a resume’ of characteristics that will be transpiring among those who have a mere “form of godliness” and yet reject the rule of Christ in their personal lives (2 Timothy 3:5).
The devouring wolves He so often warned us about are doing exactly what they do – misleading “many.” (Matthew 7:15; 24:11, 24, etc.). Yet, our LORD is keeping those who are choosing to “abide” in and with Him (John 15:1-6). To those who’ve been saved, remaining intimate in a relationship with Him is essential to being with Him eternally and not being cast into the fires of hell. This is what Christ taught – that is, the Christ of Holy Scripture (1 Peter 1:5).
Oh and …
“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (license to sin), and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Jude 3-4
“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: 15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God (it’s obviously possible); lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; 16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.” Hebrews 12:14-17

Laboring Fervently for Christ’s Body [podcast]

“Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. 13 For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.” Colossians 4:12-13
One source notes:
“Epaphras’ prayer is a powerful New Testament model of intercession found in Colossians 4:12. As the founder of the church in Colossae, Epaphras is described by the Apostle Paul as ‘wrestling’ or ‘laboring earnestly’ in prayer so that his congregation would stand mature, firm, and fully assured in the will of God.”
Jesus Heals the Paralytic Man who was Dropped Down to Him from the Roof
Mark 2
“1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.
2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.
3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.” Mark 2:1-12

Abiding Under the Shadow of the Almighty [podcast]

“O Lord, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. 16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: Jeremiah 15:15-16
Dwelling “in the secret place of the most High”
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” Psalms 91:1-2
“In the secret place of the Most High – Spoken probably in reference to the Holy of holies. He who enters legitimately there shall be covered with the cloud of God’s glory – the protection of the all-sufficient God. This was the privilege of the high priest only, under the law: but under the new covenant all believers in Christ have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus; and those who thus enter are safe from every evil.” Adam Clarke
“[Psalms] 91:1, 2 Jesus is the One who in a preeminent way dwelt in the secret place of the Most High, and abode under the shadow of the Almighty. There never was a life like His. He lived in absolute, unbroken fellowship with God, His Father. He never acted in self-will but did only those things that the Father directed. Though He was perfect God, He was also perfect Man, and He lived His life on earth in utter and complete dependence on God. Without equivocation He could look up and say, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him I will trust.” Believer’s Bible Commentary

“Reformed Theology“, is just a fancy way of saying ‘We know better than Paul, the old testament prophets, even David! And the very apostles who walked with Jesus must be unlearned men or liars.’ Nay, I will not say such a thing of my LORD and Saviour, Christ Jesus. Let God be true, and >every< man a liar.” Jonathan Crane
It’s “ungodly men” who mislead the gullible with the eternal security heresy, and the heretical doctrines and system of calvinism. Jude warned us of just that, as did the prophets (Jude 3-4; Jeremiah 23:17, etc.). Then Jude reminds us of God’s judgment upon His own covenant people who were saved out of Egypt (the world) and then “afterward destroyed.” Then Jude reminds us that God judged the angels, a third of them, who rebelled against Him and were terminated from His domain, Heaven (Isaiah 14:12-15; Luke 10:18; Revelation 12:7-12, etc.).
“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” Jude 4-6
The Book of Jude
Greeting
1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Judgment on False Teachers
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
A Call to Persevere
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Doxology
24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
