Can You Forfeit Salvation by Living in Sin? [podcast]

Those who foolishly espouse the myth of eternal security/once saved always saved, do so because they worship self, not the Savior. Their heretical theology is built around what caters to them, to their sin, and not Christ who is “Holy, holy, holy.” (Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8; 1 Peter 1:18-19, etc.). They’ve made a god in their own evil image and are idolaters.

Do you realize that the the apostle Paul named 5 specific sins that kept God’s people out of their promise land (which equates to Heaven) Can You Forfeit Salvation by Living in Sin? (1 Corinthians 10:1-13)

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” Romans 6:1-2

Recently a friend sent a video from a man who says concerning salvation “you CAN’T lose it by any sin”. Is this true? No. This is absolutely false and the casual attitude toward sin is equally as dangerous – Read Mark 9:43-49 (KJB only-the fake “bibles” (Ezekiel 18:30 and 33:12-13; Revelation 21:8, 27; Galatians 5:19-21, etc.) WHAT kind of church/people is Jesus returning for? (Ephesians 5:25-27) Then the man in question on the video I received speaks of faith. So, to synthesize “all scripture” we must conclude that anyone living in sin presently, has chosen not to possess saving faith and has fallen away, has departed FROM the faith (Luke 8:13; 1 Timothy 4:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:16). Jesus says that all who are IN Him who don’t “abide” (remain, continue) in Him will be cast into the fire (John 15:6).

“Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.” Romans 11:20-22

IF you leave the LORD, HE’s leaving you…. let’s get a clue. You are personally responsible to be saved and to “abide” which simply means to continue, to remain rooted and grounded in Christ (John 15:1-6, etc.). If not, you will be cast into the fire (John 15:6). Every person peddling the once saved always saved/eternal security heresy is incontrovertibly an “ungodly” man, an agent of Satan himself (Genesis 2:17; 3:4; Jude 4, etc.).

“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Peter 2:20-21

In contrast to the lax, the crass attitude toward sin by today’s false leaders, Jesus spoke of the necessity to rid our lives of all sin or be in danger of irrevocable eternal fire.

Mark 9
“And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Mar 9:44  Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mar 9:45  And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Mar 9:46  Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mar 9:47  And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
Mar 9:48  Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mar 9:49  For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
Mar 9:50  Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.” Mark 9:43-50

God is “Holy, holy, holy” and anyone living in sin after being saved is hell bound unless they repent before it’s too late. Forfeit Salvation by Living in Sin.

“Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.” Ezekiel 33:12-13

If sin doesn’t separate us from God, the LORD has ceased to be “Holy, holy, holy.” (Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8) See also Isaiah 59:1-2; Romans 6:23 and Hebrews 12:14.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14

Sin separates! The wages of sin is still death. Anyone who teaches otherwise is teaching contrary to Holy Scripture and is a false teacher who must be earnestly contended against (Jude 3-4)

“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16

The divine declaration that “The wages of sin is death” which means separation from God, appears throughout Scripture (Romans 6:23).

“He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.” Proverbs 19:16

Die or death always means separation.
