— “STRANGE FIRE” !!! BEWARE of those who call out for and over emphasize the so called “fire of God.” Remember the false / “strange fire” of Aaron’s sons?
“And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. 2 And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.” Leviticus 10:1-2
Adam Clarke, of this passage, writes:
“God intended that every part of his service should be conducted; and that every sacrifice might be acceptable to him, he sent his own fire as the emblem of his presence, and the means of consuming the sacrifice – Here we find Aaron’s sons neglecting the Divine ordinance, and offering incense with strange, that is, common fire, – fire not of a celestial origin; and therefore the fire of God consumed them. So that very fire which, if properly applied, would have sanctified and consumed their gift, became now the very instrument of their destruction! How true is the saying, The Lord is a consuming fire! He will either hallow or destroy us: he will purify our souls by the influence of his Spirit, or consume them with the breath of his mouth! The tree which is properly planted in a good soil is nourished by the genial influences of the sun: pluck it up from its roots, and the sun which was the cause of its vegetative life and perfection now dries up its juices, decomposes its parts, and causes it to moulder into dust. Thus must it be done to those who grieve and do despite to the Spirit of God. Reader, hast thou this heavenly fire? Hear then the voice of God, Quench not the Spirit.”
Adam Clarke continues:
“Which he commanded them not – Every part of the religion of God is Divine. He alone knew what he designed by its rites and ceremonies, for that which they prefigured – the whole economy of redemption by Christ – was conceived in his own mind, and was out of the reach of human wisdom and conjecture. He therefore who altered any part of this representative system, who omitted or added any thing, assumed a prerogative which belonged to God alone, and was certainly guilty of a very high offense against the wisdom, justice, and righteousness of his Maker. This appears to have been the sin of Nadab and Abihu, and this at once shows the reason why they were so severely punished. The most awful judgments are threatened against those who either add to, or take away from, the declarations of God. See Deu_4:2; Pro_30:6; and Rev_22:18, Rev_22:19.”
God killed these rebels, “Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron,” and this shows us clearly that all who dare change the order or substance of what Scripture states concerning the worship of it’s Author, will be judged by the LORD.
And, all who participate in false worship, with counterfeit “strange fire” ministries, will be eternally damned in hell! They will be judged with the false prophets they support and bid God speed to.
“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” 2 John 10-11
This applies to any false ministry or minister, including the whole bethel cult, IHOP movements and all their predecessors like brownsville, and toronto, etc. check this out and please share.
BEWARE of those who over-emphasize “fire”, namely when they use it out of its biblical context, definition.
“These people will see fire but it won’t be God’s fire!” Karen Cochran
The “strange fire” so many call down, cry out for today isn’t according to Scripture, it isn’t according to the prayer of John the Baptist, who cried “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30) Therefore we must conclude that those who cry out for a false fire, do so out of an unrepentant heart that is therefore unwilling to die, so Christ can reign supreme in their lives. They are not losing their lives in this world and will therefore lose them eternally, in hell.
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 16:24-25
This false fire we see today doesn’t seem to align with the Bible’s definition of the total consumption burnt offering fire God puts in His people – TO PURIFY THEM (Matthew 3:11-12). Today, many seem to be calling down “strange fire,” “Holy Ghost fire” from Heaven for other purposes, purposes other than the purification of their hearts (Leviticus 10:1-2; Matthew 3:11-12, etc.). Counterfiets refuse to “endure sound doctrine,” to truly repent and so they want nothing to do with the crucifying cross, the process of God’s cleansing of their hearts, their motives, their intentions (2 Timothy 4:2-4).
Divine Fire is for Purging
Many today cry out to God for “fire” for some other reason other than the divinely stated purpose for it in the lives of his people.
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:11-12
The “wheat” harvest of His saints the LORD is going to “gather” in the ened are those who’ve truly repented and therefore are allowing Him to “throughly purge” them.
Of those who do not allow the sanctifying work of Christ, we read: “he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
Perhaps others who cry out for “fire” do so in order to be a spectacle among men, to be seen as special, someone that’s specially touched of God. Yet, isn’t this diametrically opposed to the humble servants Jesus calls His people to be? (Matthew 23:11-12)
Of her experience with the false NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) movement, typical of the testimony of many, sister Sarah Foley shares:
“I remember when I was first a believer, a friend took me to these, I thought it was strange, but I thought I wasn’t a Christian if I didn’t do these things. I also remember the gold dust forming on the speaker. Funny thing is, every time I went to a conference like these, I always had a small headache, so that kept my attention more than these false signs I guess you want to call them, I really think God was protecting me from this! Because after I stopped going, I found out these were not of God, and found real truth. I was a baby Christian being fed with bad meat!! Just need to stick to God’s word, not man’s!”
WHEN deceivers use the term “don’t put God in a box” what they are really saying is “Don’t listen to how God described Himself, His will, and His attributes, etc. Don’t listen to HIS own Word, let me show you an alternative, something that contradicts His Word!” Apostasy! Run! See Acts 17:10-11; Psalms 33:11; 119:89, 105; John 8:47; Romans 3:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21.
UNTIL you have the revelation given us in 2 Peter 1:12-21, you are vulnerable to be deceived and ultimately “fall away” from the LORD – to apostatize (Luke 8:13; 1 Timothy 4:1, etc.). WHAT is the LORD conveying to us, His people, in 2 Peter 1:12-21?
ATTN: This post is not from a cessationist dupe! Pentecost is real and an essential part of New Testament Christianity …. yet not the witchcraft of the charismatic, bethel cult…. We are in deep need of true repentance – the denial of self, dying to self, the cross – the crucified life, brokenness, holiness, and the holy fear of God …..you are never going to hear these things, the essential cross, in the NAR cult.

Loving not our Lives unto the Death [podcast]
Just WHAT do we need to “remember” about “Lot’s wife”? (Luke 17:32)
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.” Revelation 12:11
Will you finish with joy?
“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24
IN previous generations, young men and women gave up their whole life of luxury in America to go to a foreign land to preach the Gospel of Christ. Today we have a generation of professing “Christians” who won’t so much as give up a penny to support the preaching of the Gospel of the glorious Savior they claim to be saved by.
Remember how our LORD Jesus taught that those who love and therefore are obedient to Him, will hear Him welcome them into glory with “Well done … enter thou into the joy of thy lord”? Those who are truly known of God prove their love for Him by the way they steward the resources He gave them. Loving not our Lives unto the Death.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21
Paul counted, considered, viewed everything he’d gained in this world to be but “dung” in comparison to Christ, then said:
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
Luke 17:28-33
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot’s wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Attention Eternal Security Adherents
The fact that your unrepentant heart wants something to be true, does not make it true.
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12
It simply doesn’t matter how seriously and sincerely you are in believing the fairytale myth of “eternal security” or “once saved always saved” … you are dead wrong and so are the demonic wolves who taught this heresy to you. Repent, deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Jesus for real! (Luke 9:23-24)

Any preacher who is tickling your ears with the old recycled, worn out word of faith heresies is merely regurgitating what he’s learned from his wolf handlers, puppet masters. He has no life in God’s Word for himself and never has. He’s a counterfeit doing “ministry” for his own self-serving purposes as he leads others to attempt to use God to get what THEY want. There is no cross in this greed-driven, self-worshipping false gospel. These are “enemies of the cross of Christ.” (Philippians 3:18-19)

“Man this guy is good! He hit the nail on the head on every point!” Mike C.
“Thanks. I have not followed their ministries for many years since we became wise to their wrong ways but I was slack in getting rid of the tapes etc. Really gives one a wakeup call though.” Gloria G.
Question Received:
“Don’t you think it takes money to preach the gospel and take the gospel to all nations? I am seriously wanting to know, I am not being funny. I am having questions since you are calling preachers I listen to wolves. Please explain, I am interested in your take on it.” Tammy
Reply:
Hi Tammy. Yes, it sure does take money to publish the original Gospel, namely on certain platforms, that is, communication mediums. Yet, we are often warned of “false prophets” who “make merchandise” of people for their own self-serving purposes (2 Peter 2:1-3; Philippians 3:18-19; Isaiah 56:10-12, etc.). The word of faith wolves are NOT preaching the original Gospel as given us in the New Testament Scriptures and so they are raising money under false pretense and to make themselves rich on that money – not to spread the original Gospel of Jesus which begins with the repent to “repent.” (Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Acts 2:38; 3:19, etc.). We are actually mandated to “earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints” in the original Gospel and so, we are to “contend” against these wolves, not fund them! To fund these deceivers is to bid them God speed and become the enemy of the LORD (2 John 2:7-11; 2 Chronicles 19:2).

Overcoming the Antichrists Among You [podcast]
Anti as in antichrist means in place of: It’s the “spirit of antichrist” working through Satan’s false ministers that robs the glory from Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 11:12-15; Colossians 1:18; 2:8-10, 18-19; 1 John 4:1-3, etc.).
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” 1 John 2:18
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.” 1 John 2:22
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:3
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.” 1 John 2:18-19
anti – a. Against, opposed to. b. Before, predating. c. Usurping, in place of.
“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” 2 John 1:7
We know when “that spirit of antichrist” is working through a rebel when he speaks contrary to God’s Word (John 8:47; 1 John 4:3). “That spirit of antichrist” – anti (in place of) Christ is anything that contradicts His what God’s Word says, working to subvert divinely stated truth while posing as Christ’s minister (2 Corinthians 11:12-15).
OBSERVATION: Jesus, the prophets, and Christ’s apostles never sought to change or reform the false leaders. They rebuked and exposed them and went about the Father’s kingdom business. See Jeremiah 23; Ezekiel 34; Matthew 15:14; 23; Acts; 2 Peter 2; Jude 1. There was the hope of the false leader repenting yet only after being rebuked (Titus 1:13).
It’s a futile endeavor, a waste of the precious resources of our time and energy.
“Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” Matthew 15:14
