How Powerfully do we seek, do we desire to be used by our LORD?

Purging, preparation…. Jesus, please do YOUR work in us dear LORD (Psalms 51).

“IF (conditional) a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:21

Notice that God will use a vessel contingent upon the individual’s purging himself from the things that defile. We cannot lead someone, anyone where we ourselves haven’t been in Christ. Simply put and in the surrounding context: the LORD is informing us that He can’t use everyone the same.

He’s speaking using military illustration – “a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” (2 Timothy 2:3)

Read 2 Timothy 2 closely, prayerfully. Life changing.
