God wants to use each of us to Crush the Enemy

God is holding each of us personally accountable for each and every dollar we receive and what we do with it (Mark 12:41-44, etc.).

Never pity the disciples who answer God’s call and are living by faith with very little. No, rather, pity the counterfeits who are fed by those ministries, who see God working in the lives of men, and yet don’t support it. Pity them!

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:35-38

It never ceases to amaze me how few give to the work of the LORD. That seems to make it clear how many care. Sad. Perhaps the next vacation, the next trinket, the next temporal toy is more important to them than Christ and His Gospel work it. Hinder Christ’s Work!

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

Do you spend more on your pet(s) monthly than the Gospel?

Please pause to pray that more people will begin support the ministry of Christ in the earth in this late hour.

The clear proof that God is working in our lives, that we are truly following Jesus, is that we are becoming less and less vested in this fleeting, fallen world (James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17). And that we, our good works, our giving are more and more invested in eternity – in the eternal kingdom of Christ, laying up treasures in Heaven, sending them before us, relinquishing the things of this world for the glory of God – putting them to work for the eternal Gospel of Christ – for saints to be fed and equipped and the lost to hear the Word of God (Matt. 6:19-21).

If we can’t give out of a heart of joy – for what God has given us and to help others get God’s Word – we should not bother giving.

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-11

As it pertains to this particular outreach….. If you want to stop the Word of the LORD from flowing out to many, make sure you don’t give because the Gospel is going forth locally, via the internet, via the mail – Scripture-rich books going to the incarcerated, etc. With this outreach thousands are reached daily, every day, year round. The ministry outreach has needs saints. FYI: It’s only in times of extended lack that I mention this. Usually hope is held out for a while but then when there’s no supply coming in and needs in order to preach the Word, I say something for the sake of God’s work and the saints and souls who need to be fed and saved. It is regrettable that so many seem to spend money like it’s going out of style of frivolous things and yet have no plan in place to consistently support the work of God. I will never understand this. The way we are treating God’s work is the way we are treating Him (Matthew 6:21). Thank you for praying.

The work of the Gospel of Jesus is the only eternal and infinitely superior work in the earth. The closer we get to Christ’s return, as foretold, more people are backsliding and the less people there are to participate in Christ’s glorious Gospel work.

What does Galatians 6:6; 1 Corinthians 9:1-14; and 1 Timothy 5:17-18 tell you?

Are you doing your part?

Are you supply the work of Christ or does all your money go to feeding the false jesus christ of self?
