Recently, a precious sister who receives the Moments with My Master emails was moved upon by the LORD to address a deception she read. It involved Galatians 3:28. The disturbing post she addressed read this way:

“Jesus talks to us all, no matter what color, what religion, what race….. You can disagree with people’s opinions, beliefs or lifestyles and Still love and accept them as individuals…..if you doubt this….then search for yourself … read through the book of John taking special note of how Jesus does exactly that!……”

There are two issues here in the statement made above:

  1. Does Jesus speak to people who are not yet saved the same as He speaks to those who are? No. Jesus speaks to all hearts and yet will not save anyone who doesn’t hear Him calling them to repent and believe upon Him (Acts 16:31). Jesus told us that His sheep hear His voice and that the world (the unsaved) cannot receive His Holy Spirit and therefore can’t hear His voice the same as the born again believer (John 10; 14:17). The LORD convicts sinners and speaks into the hearts of His saints, guiding them each step of the way as they walk with Him (John 9: 31; 10:1-16, etc.).
  2. Yes, we can love the lost as Jesus does without agreeing with them but remaining in full agreement with God’s holy Word, letting God be true and every man and every false religion and false prophet be a liar (Matthew 5:43-48; Romans 3:3-4). We are to love them by calling them to repent and be saved (Revelation 22:17). The LORD loves the lost and yet will not save them from sin, Satan, and the lake of fire unless they repent, nor will He commune with them as He does His blood-bought people (Luke 13:3, 5, etc.). He calls and “commandeth ALL men everywhere to repent.” (Acts 17:30) It’s only then that they are His sheep and can hear His voice. All religions or beliefs do not lead to God, only Jesus does and only believing and obeying God by repenting and placing one’s faith in Christ saves the lost soul (John 10:9; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5, etc.).

Does the one true God, approached only through His only begotten Son, speak to all men the same? No.

“Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” John 9:31

The misleading part about what they posted was the idea that God accepts all men, no matter what they believe. That’s not what Galatians 3:28 is saying at all nor does any Scripture teach such. Jesus is the only way to God and notice how many times His precious, holy name appears in this passage ……

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye beChrist’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:26-29 (KJV)

It’s only those who are “one IN Christ Jesus” who are God’s children, regardless of their physical race or whether or not they are in jail or not, or whether they are male or female.

The LORD only indwells those who come to Him in repentance and faith (Acts 20:21). He then regenerates them, makes them a new creature in Christ, and then indwells them by His Holy Spirit as His temples (1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:17-18; Titus 3:4-7; 1 John 3:24).

The Bible is God’s Word and in His Word the LORD told us that He is not confused, even though so many humans are (1 Corinthians 14:33). He made only one way to get to Him and that’s His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the very Son of God and not a way but rather “THE way” to God the Father and Heaven.

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9 (KJV)

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.’ John 14:6 (KJV)

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” 1 Timothy 2:5 (KJV)

There’s a special and vital union, relationship, and fellowship between Christ and His sheep:

“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” John 10:14

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” John 10:27

Jesus is Coming.

Abiding Under the Shadow of the Almighty [podcast]

Lord, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke. 16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:  Jeremiah 15:15-16

Dwelling “in the secret place of the most High”

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” Psalms 91:1-2

“In the secret place of the Most High – Spoken probably in reference to the Holy of holies. He who enters legitimately there shall be covered with the cloud of God’s glory – the protection of the all-sufficient God. This was the privilege of the high priest only, under the law: but under the new covenant all believers in Christ have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus; and those who thus enter are safe from every evil.” Adam Clarke

“[Psalms] 91:1, 2 Jesus is the One who in a preeminent way dwelt in the secret place of the Most High, and abode under the shadow of the Almighty. There never was a life like His. He lived in absolute, unbroken fellowship with God, His Father. He never acted in self-will but did only those things that the Father directed. Though He was perfect God, He was also perfect Man, and He lived His life on earth in utter and complete dependence on God. Without equivocation He could look up and say, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in Him I will trust.” Believer’s Bible Commentary

Attend to My Words [podcast]

IF THE WORD isn’t flowing into you daily, you are falling away. Flood and fuel your heart and mind and body with the pure, the holy light of God’s Word daily and you will never famish! All darkness will be vanquished (Psalms 119:130). All who have been saved and yet aren’t in God’s Word and prayer daily – have rejected Christ, with no exception. Re-turn to the LORD prodigal. There’s no good outside of Christ the KING.

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” Psalms 119:130

ALL who are not in God’s written Word daily are not hearing from God, do not have God’s wisdom and direction, and are walking in darkness – 100%.

The feeding of Christ’s flock would integrally involve exhorting them to diligently study and walk in God’s Word themselves, daily (John 21:15-17). Isn’t this exactly what the apostle Paul told Timothy to do? Yes. He told his understudy to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)

One of the ways we know who the false ministers are, is that they want people dependent on THEM, not God. So, they don’t constantly exhort the people to get into God’s Word, the Holy Scriptures, for themselves. Run.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

“He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. … My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:4, 20-23

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

“Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” Job 23:12

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16

“Over the last 5-10 years I can see where He has done this for me already, but the problem is …. it’s not enough! I want even more! One hour of study and prayer in the morning is not enough!” Christine
