Just WHAT Signs Did Jesus Say Would Follow True Believers?

ANYone willing to repent can be delivered! Do you know what James 4:7 says?

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

James 4:7 teaches that as and if we are truly, presently submitted to God then we can rebuke the devil and he must flee! The divine truth we have in James 4:7 sets the precedence for deliverance. First, one must submit to God and then and only then can he “resist the devil” and only then does Satan have to “flee.” Memorize this verse.

From this verse of holy truth, we see that it’s God’s will to “resist the devil” which means to set ourselves against him as he is our enemy because we are Christ’s saints. Has God given His people power over devils?

Ordained by WHO?

—— IS CHRIST’S ORDINATION ENOUGH? OR do you need a piece of paper from a mere human organization?

To one man who touted that he was “an ordained minister,” and yet gave a very lengthy, weak, frightened warning to Christians not to mess with Satan and casting out devils, I responded this way:

I refuse to fear the enemy because our LORD conquered him (Col. 2:14-19). I have been blessed to confront and cast Christ’s enemies out for many years now by His grace and holy name and divine authority! Following in order the steps of James 4:7 is vital.

Are you baptized with the Holy Ghost? If not, you certainly should not confront devils because you have not even obeyed basic New Testament teaching.

Do you begin to understand the infinite power in Jesus’ name given to those who know Him? The Son of God declared: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. 21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.” (Luke 10:19-21) Note that Jesus says here that EVEN “babes” are given ability to understand the power He gives His children.

“ALL” power and authority is given to WHO? AND WHO did He give it to??? – “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power (divine authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20

Did Jesus lie to us here or is He truly with His people “always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”? (Matthew 28:20)

IF you have a new versions (corrupted) and are not reading God’s preserved Word (KJV), you may not have this essential commissioning passage BECAUSE satan doesn’t want you to know this – “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; IN MY NAME SHALL THEY CAST OUT DEVILS; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:15-20

If you have a problem with casting out devils, you have a problem with the LORD Himself. Your little dinky seminarian “pastor” has no authority in God’s kingdom and he doesn’t determine kingdom truth – the Word of God does! The LORD is calling you to truly repent and begin to follow Him and not sinful mere men and their illegitimacy.

Jesus taught that we are not to rejoice at being able to cast out devils which among other things seems to indicate that it should be a normal thing for Christians to do.

“Ordained minister”? Only JESUS Himself can and do that.

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” John 15:16

If I were not baptized with the Holy Ghost and only under the sham of man’s supposed “ordination” instead of Christ’s, I sure would be afraid also. Friend, you touted here that you are an “ordained minister.” You are “ordained” by WHO? WHAT authority do they have? Zilch. What does mere sinful man’s sanctioning have to do with anything? I sure would be scared, fearful, and spineless too if all I had was mere man’s ordination. The LORD Jesus Christ told us that all true, born again, Holy Ghost filled, obedient disciples of Jesus Christ are “chosen” and “ordained” by the Highest Authority. In fact, NO other entity has an iota of authority in God’s kingdom to ordain anyone (John 15:16). Also, I suggest you re-read your first post above and notice how much faith you have in Satan with little or none displayed in the one who made lucifer who became satan. Your words seem to suggest that your full and complete faith is in the very enemy of souls while being in brazen denial and unbelief of the One who bled to conquer him and then commissioned those who are truly His to “cast out devils.” (Mark 16:17)

Any born again believer who is truly abiding in Christ, is “chosen” and “ordained” to “go and bring forth much fruit” by the very One who made all things and created Lucifer who rebelled and became Satan.

In a monumental passage concerning the key to casting out devils and getting rid of all unbelief, Jesus says that it’s by “fasting and prayer” that the victory is wrought. But that part is removed or doubted as divinely inspired in Satan’s new versions. Now, the enemy of all souls didn’t want Christ’s church/people to know this so he had his scribes remove this important passage or cast doubt upon it by putting a note in the margin. Hoofprints! The last verse in this passage is removed in some new versions and or doubted. This is where Jesus gives the answer to getting precious souls delivered from the devil. So just WHO do you think wanted this removed?

“Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick (devil possessed), and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. ¹⁶And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. ¹⁷Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. ¹⁸And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. ¹⁹Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? ²⁰And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. ²¹Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:15-21

Isn’t it profoundly amazing how such spineless bafoons pretending to represent Christ so grossly malign and misrepresent Him? Has the “Alpha and Omega,” the very “Almighty God” changed? (Revelation 1:8; Hebrews 13:8) Is the Creator of all that is now controlled by, owned, and ordered around by His creation? No, His divine arm is not weakened or diminished in strength but rather our sins have withhold-en these things from bound souls due to wolves who are misrepresenting Christ!

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: ²But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:1-2

Just WHO is Jesus Christ? Memory verse: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

Have you read the Gospels? Did Jesus Christ raise the dead, heal the sick, open blinded eyes, etc.? Yes! And has He changed?

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8

THERE IS NO APOLOGY FROM TRUE DISCIPLES FOR OBEYING JESUS. WE REFUSE TO BOW TO YOUR WIMPY, FALSE RELIGIOUS “SAFETY.” Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is NEW TESTAMENT, not charismatic (like the false movement).

Biblical Deliverance Prescription:

If you truly desire to be delivered from all oppression or possession of the enemy of all souls, you will read and heed this divine prescription – a guarantee for your liberty in Christ.

Set yourself apart (Psalms 4:3).
Seek the face of the LORD in a time of fasting and prayer (Isaiah 58; Matthew 17:21 KJV only – the new perversions have removed this verse).
Repent of all known sin in order to shut out the enemy by cancelling his legal right to you (James 4:7).
As we submit ourselves to the LORD, the enemy will be cast out and kept out in Jesus’ holy name (Mark 16:17; Acts 16:18; James 4:7; Matthew 12:43-45)
Ask God to baptize you with the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:11; Luke 11:13; 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 2:1-4, 38-39; 8:14-17; 10:44-48; 19:1-6, etc.).
Memorize Hosea 10:12
Pore over James 4:4-10
Read and do Isaiah 58.
Memorize Mark 10:27
Now, once delivered, you must keep your house – temple – clean and clear of all sin and this will keep Satan out (Matthew 12:43-45).
This will keep him from having legal right to your life through sin (James 4:7).
Know that God is able and willing and desires to make you completely whole, set apart to Him, and free (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1).
Liberty is in Christ and staying rooted in Him (2 Corinthians 3:17).
Those who obey the LORD’s truth are made free (John 8:31-32, 36).
God wants us to speak with Him. So, come before the LORD with “words” of repentance, denunciation of all idols, and placing all your trust – the whole weight of your existence – upon Him (Hosea 14:1-3).

Discussing God’s Word: WHEN believers are having a discussion, we shouldn’t tout our “credentials.” Divine authority is in God’s Word and not us or our supposed resume’. Most of the time when people tout their credentials, it’s to cover for their lack of knowledge of God’s Word and to defend lies. Furthermore, many Bible college and seminarians are not necessarily very knowledgeable in God’s Word and that’s what matters when we are sorting out divine truth. Just because you have “formal training” means nothing. In fact, you may wish to go before the LORD in prayer and openly denounce all the “trophies” which only hinder us. Paul violently denounced his so-called “higher learning.” (Philippians 3)

Everyone desires the joy of the LORD, right? Yes, yet only those who are willing to devour His Word – to get it into their hearts and keep it flowing into their hearts, will experience that great joy of the LORD which is our strength! In context, the joy of the LORD is the strength of those who read it, hear it, embrace it, adhere to it, and keep it flowing into their mind and heart daily! (Nehemiah 8:8, 10)

After they had feasted on God’s Word, the elders of Israel said to them: You are now full of the Word. Now “Go your way”, that is, go home and be blessed to “send portions” of the bounty of the LORD you’ve been filled with today to overflowing. “Freely ye have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8) Let your cup run over and bless others! Let your light shine into others, may your cup run over onto others, to bless them with the bountiful blessings of the LORD you have received.

We have to eat the fat and drink the sweet of the Word of God to be filled with the joy of the LORD which is our strength!

Abandoning Our Own Sin, Our Own Way, for God and His Better Way!

To “rend your heart” is a biblical phrase meaning to tear open your heart in radical sincerity, true humility, and genuine repentance.

The phrase comes from Joel 2:13 in the Bible: “Rend your heart and not your garments and return to the Lord your God.”

Cultural Background: In ancient times, the Jewish people would tear (rend) their clothes as a public, highly visible display of grief or repentance.

Where is the LORD Looking?

A Fresh Start with God Always Begins with Humility and True Repentance

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Acts 3:19

Concerning rending our hearts before the LORD, one source notes:

The classic Bible passage on this concept is Joel 2:13, where God commands: “Rend your heart and not your garments”. In ancient biblical culture, tearing (or “rending”) one’s physical clothing was a customary, visible display of extreme grief, despair, or repentance. Through the prophet Joel, God is essentially telling His people: Stop doing the empty, outward religious ritual of tearing your clothes to show everyone how sorry you are. Instead, let me see true, inward brokenness over your sins.

Examples of Rending Physical Garments

In the Bible, the physical act of tearing clothes was used as a dramatic expression of deep emotion in several well-known narratives:

Joseph’s Brothers (Genesis 37:29, 34): When Reuben realized Joseph was not in the pit, and later when the brothers brought Joseph’s blood-stained coat to Jacob, they tore their clothes in grief and despair.
Job (Job 1:20): After hearing that he had lost all his wealth and his children, Job stood up and tore his robe as an outward sign of his overwhelming sorrow.
King David (2 Samuel 1:11-12): When David received news of the deaths of King Saul and Jonathan, he and his men tore their clothes to mourn.
The High Priest (Matthew 26:65): In a dramatic display of hypocritical outrage, the high priest tore his own garments when Jesus declared He was the Son of God, falsely accusing Him of blasphemy.

The Spiritual Meaning of “Rending the Heart”

The concept of “rending the heart” contrasts an outward show with inward reality.

Genuine Repentance: Tearing your heart means being vulnerable, acknowledging your brokenness, and deeply repenting of sin before God.
Prioritizing Relationships over Rituals: God desires a sincere heart—true sorrow and a desire to change—more than he desires traditional religious pageantry or dramatic, public displays of grief.
The Promise of Forgiveness: In Joel 2:13, the command to rend the heart is immediately followed by the promise of grace: “Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love”.

God sees beyond our external habits and religious actions, requiring instead a humble, contrite heart to fully experience His mercy.”

God’s Mercy

In God’s Word, where we see men who tear open their garments…. This holds the illustration of rending our hearts before the LORD.

Don’t render outward tearing, no, rather, tear open your inner man, your heart—be honest, sincere, exposed, and vulnerable to the LORD whom you trust.

Let’s attempt to get at, to ascertain what God is commanding of His beloved people to do in this “rend your heart” passage.

“Joel 2:13: Rend your heart—Let it not be merely a rending of your garments, but let your hearts be truly contrite. Merely external worship and hypocritical pretensions will only increase the evil, and cause God to meet you with heavier judgments.

For he is gracious—Good and benevolent in his own nature.

Merciful—Pitying and forgiving, as the effect of goodness and benevolence.

Slow to anger —He is not easily provoked to punish, because he is gracious and merciful.

Of great kindness—Exuberant goodness to all them that return to him.

In Joel 2 the LORD reminds those who are backslidden that He “is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. 14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? …”

They must meet His stated conditions to receive His blessings ….
