“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isaiah 58:1

4 Commands here:

1. Cry aloud
2. Spare not
3. Lift up thy voice like a trumpet
4. Show my people their transgressions

Like today’s false leaders, in Isaiah’s day the priesthood of false prophets were backslidden by choice and therefore unable to offer even a faint bark to warn God’s people of coming judgment.

“His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. 11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. 12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.” Isaiah 56:10-12

Today’s “pastors” are never heard calling men to repentance! This alone reveals they are totally false! Satan’s seminaries and fake news “bibles” have removed this essential command and word to “repent.”

Paul did 3 things to prepare Christ’s body to meet the LORD: PWT = Preach, WARN, Teach (Colossians 1:28). Any leader not warning against false teachers and false doctrine is 100% a false leader himself and part of the “conspiracy” of false prophets who oppose the LORD and will burn forever in the fires of hell. See Ezekiel 22:25-27.

The LORD never called anyone to produce a movie for people to know His……

Today we have a never-ending string of staged “revivals” coming at us. If sin, repentance, hell, and holiness aren’t being preached, what are they actually being won to? God has not and never will changed (Malachi 3:6). The Bible foretells a great falling away, not a revival (2 Thessalonians 2). And, especially with one where the leadership is promoting the abomination of sodomy openly (Leviticus 18:22)…. Dare we take the name of the LORD our God in vain and attach it to this abomination? I refuse personally.

The Bible is full of warnings from Genesis to Revelation. If you have a problem with warnings, you have a problem with God. Warning is for protection. If you don’t like warnings, you simply give away your Bible to someone who is an authentic, honest a truth seeker.

Give the devil no rest saints! Expose his agents! Ephesians 5:11

Christ’s apostle Paul warned God’s people day and night for 3 years with tears – in order to protect them from vile wolves operating within the professing body of Christ (Acts 20:27:32). What does that reveal about the devils we call pastors today who refuse to ever warn? -They are Satan’s agents (2 Corinthians 11:12-15).

WARNING IS WHAT JESUS AND HIS APOSTLES DID AND IS FOR YOUR PROTECTION. Yet if you refuse to yield to the LORD’s warnings via His Word and saints, you are walking right into destruction.

You want to see who the false preachers are among us? Here you go!

The man who isn’t warning isn’t loving and isn’t protecting Christ’s sheep. Run from such a devil for he is part of the antichrist “conspiracy” against Christ! (Ezekiel 22:25-27) Such a man is completely unlike Christ and His prophets and apostles who repeatedly warned of false prophets and their heresies!

Table-Flipping Savior! You going to call the Son of God unloving? Repent devil. Telling the truth to religious counterfeits, sin-darkened hearts, is as loving, as Christ-like as it could possibly be. Matthew 23 anyone?

ARE YOU preaching the absolute Gospel essential of repentance beloved of God? Jesus commanded that we do just that.

IF he’s not preaching repentance and remission of sins he’s a fraud! No excuse! “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:47)

“Preaching repentance for the remission of sin to the entire world is the last thing the Lord Jesus Christ commanded before He ascended into heaven.” Brian Craig

WHEN a man repents, all his sins are remitted! Removed!

False leaders today CODDLE men in sin instead of CALLING them out of it – so that they can be spared eternal judgment/damnation! Comforting people in their sin is the work of wolves (Jeremiah 23:17; Lamentation 2:14).

Was the message of the original Gospel always soft? Did Jesus and His holy apostles pander to the sinful sentiments and whims of sinful men? No! Read God’s Word for yourself as He commanded you to do – and cease now to be misled by the soft-peddling pansies of today’s apostate modern church world! Repent now. Follow Jesus! Then you won’t live by your sinful emotions but will rather be an authentic disciple of Jesus who loves His truth – NO MATTER WHO IT OFFENDS. But first it must offend YOU unto repentance – to drive you to real repentance and a real, a crucified walk with Jesus (Galatians 2:20). “Let God be true and EVERY man a liar.” (Romans 3:4) “You preach this Gospel JUST LIKE it’s written young man, you understand me!” | YOU Preach this Gospel Just Like it’s Written Son!

THOSE who don’t warn do not have God’s love and are suspect as hiding something! Jesus and His apostles WARNED.

WHOSE blood do you have on your hands for not warning them?

“So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.” Ezekiel 33:7

The reason many condone the evil wolves posing as Christ’s ministers is that they do not know Jesus but are rather self-serving devils, full of self, refusing to repent for real.

“Thy prophets (false leaders in Israel) have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity (exposed your sin), to turn away thy captivity (bondage); but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.” Lamentations 2:14

True ministers of Christ, without fail, call men to Christ and out of sin – They call men to repent! (Isaiah 58:1; Ezekiel 18:30; 2 Corinthians 5:11, etc.)

THERE is nothing good in us except Christ. We are not featured but JESUS. “We preach CHRIST crucified.” (1 Corinthians 1:23) Our righteousnesses are as filthy rags and HE is the one and only righteous Redeemer whom we share (Isaiah 64:6; 1 Corinthians 9:16; Romans 7:18, etc).

Jesus’ true disciples are crucified vessels who preach with His authority, unlike the lame leaders we have today (Matthew 7:28-29). True Gospel preaching rocks the world of those who hear it – it never coddles people in their sin. That’s the work of wolves! Beware!

True Ministers of Christ

Most in “ministry” today are building their own empire, not Christ’s kingdom! Beware. Matthew 16:18; 1 Corinthians 1:29-2:5; 2 Corinthians 4:5; Philippians 3:18-19

GOD bless the truly God-fearing men who warn the flock of God as did Jesus and His apostles – in order to protect them. Moral coward counterfeits only warn when they are warning someone not to warn. Pitiful Pansies!

When Jesus preached the counterfeit religionists were made livid and scattered at the rebuke of His truth, spoken in divine authority (Matthew 7:28-29). Are you scattering the tares in your audience or are you coddling these rebels in their sin?

The Missing “R” in the Modern Gospel

Is it any wonder we seldom hear the word, the divine command to “repent” in the modern church world? These modern pansies we call pastors are blind guides who use new “bible” versions which are all corrupt. Here’s a sampling:

The NKJV removes “repent” 44 times

Matthew 9:13

KING JAMES BIBLE – “for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners TO REPENTANCE.” Matthew 9:13

NASB – “For I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.” …“TO REPENTANCE” Removed!

NIV – “For I have not come to call the righeous but sinners.” …“TO REPENTANCE” Removed!

THE MESSAGE – “I’m after mercy, not religion. I’m here to invite outsiders, not coddle insiders.” …“TO REPENTANCE” Removed!

IF your preaching doesn’t include the divine command to REPENT, you are preaching another gospel – and are “accused.” (Galatians 1:6-9) Repent now! Oh and ditch the sissy “bible” (all new versions) which removed this essential command. Get a real Bible – King James Bible.  More on Bible Versions Here.

Think about that and how few today are doing such! Wow! Any man not preaching that ALL men everywhere must repent, is an “accursed” false teacher! (galatians 1:6-9)

IS IT any wonder repentance is seldom heard? WHEN you realize that the “pastors” we have in the pulpits today are vatican trained by jesuit infiltrated seminaries which falsely promote the catholic “bibles” these pastors now read and get their message from. And, the people they preach to are reading those vatican “bibles” and so don’t know repentance is an essential, vital biblical doctrine. They have no excuse! King James Bible readers are much sharper, more astute Bible students due to reading the real, preserved Word of our God (Psalms 12:6-7).

John the Baptist Preached Repentance!

“And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 3:2

Jesus Preached Repentance!

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

Christ’s Apostle Peter Preached Repentance!

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Acts 2:38

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19

The Apostle Paul Preached Repentance!

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” Acts 17:30

Repentance is not only essential initially but also on an ongoing basis.

REPENTANCE – initially and ongoing is cardinal in Christ’s kingdom.

“He that covereth (hides) his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13

Notice below as Paul writes to the Corinthian believers how he is concerned only about those among them who had not repented. The ones who had already repented were safe. This is a key kingdom truth saints. Let’s face it, we all have need to repent and confess sin on a regular basis, right? (1 John 1:6-2:2, etc.). Now watch this closely: Those who haven’t repented are the ones Paul’s concerned about-not the ones who’ve repented.

“And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and HAVE NOT REPENTED of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.” 2 Corinthians 12:21

When there is no repentance, there is impending doom/wrath. When there is repentance, there is a complete clearing, refreshing, a removal of all sin to infinity!

“He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12 As far as the east is from the west (infinity), so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.” Psalms 103:10-12

“If thou, Lord , shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” Psalms 130:3

When we repent, God refreshes!

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19

The reason we see so many frustrated people who’ve been saved is in this verse above! Read it again and meditate on this beloved.

The fires of eternal damnation will forever feed upon the hopeless, helpless rebels who refuse to repent and “Bring forth therefore fruits meet (fitting) for repentance.” (Matthew 3:8) Any man who does not have the fruit of sound doctrine – PURE BIBLE – has not repented and is in ministry for some other reason than Christ’s glory! Run for your life!

“They say still unto them that despise me (those who live in sin), The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace (promise rebels eternal security); and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you. 18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?” Jeremiah 23:17-18

If you see a man who refuses to preach what the Bible says about sin and to preach the absolute necessity to repent, you are witnessing a wolf!

These are those Ezekiel shows us are part of the “conspiracy” of false leaders who are misrepresenting Christ by preaching another, any other message than the unchanging original Gospel and all of it’s doctrinal components!

There is a conspiracy of her prophets (false leaders) in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. 26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.” Ezekiel 22:25-27

“David Encouraged Himself in the LORD his God” [podcast]

“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, … but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” 1 Samuel 30:6

Gathering from several commentaries on this passage, one source notes the following:

“Faced with the devastating loss of Ziklag and a mutinous army threatening to stone him, David found supernatural resilience. Rather than yielding to panic or despair, he actively turned his focus away from the overwhelming crisis and strengthened his faith directly in God.

Key Context and Lessons

    • The Crisis: Amalekite raiders had burned the city and captured all the women and children, including David’s own wives.
    • The Breaking Point: His loyal men were now grieving and broken, turning their deep anguish into violent anger against their leader.
    • The Shift: David did not look to his men, his own strength, or his circumstances for hope. He preached truth to his own soul, drawing on his past history with God’s faithfulness and inquiring of the Lord for his next steps.

Practical Takeaways

    • Self-Talk: When no one else is around to lift you up, you must learn to speak God’s promises to your own heart.
    • Refocusing: Encouraging yourself in the Lord means anchoring your identity and security in His unchanging character rather than shifting public opinion.
    • Actionable Faith: David’s inward strengthening immediately led to outward action—he sought God’s direction and pursued the enemy, resulting in complete victory and restoration.”

“Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22

“In the world ye shall have tribulation”

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

During seasons of great stress, this man after God’s own heart sought the LORD. This time only served as a blessing, hastening David to the feet of Christ. Beloved David gave us the most amazing Scriptures concerning seeking God.

“My soul followeth hard after thee.” Psalms 63:8

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. 2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” Psalms 42:1-2

“One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.” Psalms 27:4

“When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.” Psalms 27:8

Prayer: Father in Heaven, in the name of Jesus, please grant me, Your mere servant, to be possessed with a heart after You dear LORD. I love You Jesus. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

10 Clues Your Love for God has Waxed Cold [podcast]

The wise virgin saints are keeping their lamps full of divine oil, they are taking personal responsibility for their own spiritual state with Christ the great and soon coming Bridegroom. Read Matthew 25:1-13.

“The Love of Many Shall Wax Cold”

“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:10-14

Did you notice in verse 14 that those who hot for Jesus are participating in the preaching of His Word to the end of the earth (Mark 16:15).

Anyone not devouring God’s Word daily is falling away, is not enduring to the end, is choosing the let their love for Jesus wax cold, and on the wrong, the losing end of this prophecy Jesus gave here on record in Matthew 24:10-14.

“I will spue (vomit, reject) thee out of my mouth”

“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:16-17

Praying God will help you love Him more (Matthew 22:37-40). It really all boils down to WHO we love most. THAT is exactly who we are serving (Romans 6:16).

Loving God is everything as far as what’s in our control – because it’s a choice, daily, and will determine if one remains in Christ to the end.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

“Thou hast left thy first love”

“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” Revelation 2:4-5

1. When you are choosing not to spend quality time with God in prayer each and every morning… When you are choosing not to spend quality time with God in His Word each and every morning (Luke 9:23-24; 1 Chronicles 16:11).

2. When your love for God’s people is being reduced instead of increased (Philippians 2:12-13; 1 John 5:1) Marks of the True Christian …. “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” (Romans 12:9-11) See John 13:35.

“And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee. 21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.” Luke 8:20-21

“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” 1 John 3:14

“Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.” 1 John 5:1

Reading 1 Corinthians 13 today will refresh your heart and mind on the divine importance placed upon LOVE.

3. You are not denying self and not taking up the cross daily (Luke 9:23-24; 19:27; Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:3, etc.).

4. You aren’t communicating the light of truth to others because you no longer seek or fear the LORD and so His divine virtue isn’t teeming in and flowing out of you. Your cup no longer runs over but instead is running empty (Psalms 23). You have a lampshade over the light and are not letting His light shine in and through your life and words… “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 58:1)

5. You live in fear instead of faith and the joy of being with Jesus (Luke 21:28; 1 John 4:16-18; Proverbs 28:1; Psalms 2:11).

6. You preach promises and not conditions…following the apostate modern church and you don’t preach the cardinal doctrines of the original Gospel which we are commanded to “earnest contend for.” (Jude 3) You begin meditating on and living by trends instead of truth (Jeremiah 9:3; 2 Timothy 4:2-4; Philippians 4:8; Romans 12:1-2).

7. You have little or no true fellowship with other born- again Bible believing disciples of Jesus as is defined in God’s Word and not by the modern church world (Acts 2:42).

The Word of God is to run rich, to be abundant among God’s people … “In all wisdom” and “all in the name of the Lord Jesus”“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” (Colossians 3:16-17)

8. You know you are backsliding when your main thrust and identity become politics, not the work of the Gospel. YOU are a blood bought disciple of Jesus, not a conservative. You are a Bible believing follower of Christ (Luke 9:62; Galatians 6:14).

9. When you love this world…..When you spend more time and money on hobbies and the things of this fleeting world than you do on attending to knowing, walking with the LORD and preparing to be used of Him (Mark 4:17-19; 1 John 2:15; James 4:4).

10. When you spend more money on trash and trinkets then helping the work of the One you claim to love and the poor. You know you are backslidden when you are not obeying God with what He’s placing in your temporal possession. He shall bring you into full account for this.

Regrettably, people will give their money to any and every pleasure under the sun but make excuses when the opportunity to support the work of the One they claim to love and serve. The Holy Spirit foretold that in the final days before the return of Jesus, there would be those with a mere “form of godliness”, “men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,” and “lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” (2 Timothy 3:1-7) According to the LORD, one of the main ways to measure our true love for Him or lack thereof, is by peering into our personal stewardship of the resources He’s placed into our temporary possession. Luke 12 and 16 offer a plethora of divine wisdom and warning concerning the judgment to come, the judgment we shall endure in giving account for our stewardship in this life.

The clear proof that God is working in our lives, that we are truly following Jesus, is that we are becoming less and less vested in this fleeting, fallen world (James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17). And that we, our good works, our giving are more and more invested in eternity – in the eternal kingdom of Christ, laying up treasures in Heaven, sending them before us, relinquishing the things of this world for the glory of God – putting them to work for the eternal Gospel of Christ – for saints to be fed and equipped and the lost to hear the Word of God (Matt. 6:19-21).

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:19-24

To underscore the importance of stewardship, we should realize that 16 of our LORD’s 38 parables involved stewardship. Those who now do not wish to face and confront this truth, are apparently those who are in the most need of hearing it.

PRAYER: Father I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. Please cause my conscience to be super sensitive to Your conviction, Your leading, and to evade all that defiles me in Your holy eyes, sin. Here and now I submit my life afresh to You dear LORD. You must increase but I must decrease. I am crucified with Christ and thank You for conforming me to His holy image. I am all Yours LORD and thank You that You are all mine. I love You Jesus. Please make me one with You and the Father and with Your beloved body. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

David’s Farewell Prayer [podcast]

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” Romans 15:13

May God bless His people, in their times of tribulations, to find comfort, guidance, with Holy Scripture, and may they find His peace during seasons and transitions.

The most famous biblical farewell is Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer in John 17:1–26, where He commits His disciples into the Father’s care before departing.

Classic Farewell Blessings

  • The Aaronic Blessing (Numbers 6:24–26): “The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25  The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26  The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”
  • The Pauline Benediction (2 Corinthians 13:14): “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.”
  • God’s Promise (Jeremiah 29:11): “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

At the end of his life, David prayed to God for His kingdom and people. One source notes the following:

“King David’s life is defined by extreme highs and devastating lows. Rising from a humble shepherd to an unbeatable warrior-king who established Jerusalem, he suffered catastrophic personal failures, including his adultery with Bathsheba, the murder of Uriah, and tragic family calamity that culminated in his son Absalom’s rebellion.”

At the end of his life on earth, David, the man after God’s own heart, prayed.

Of this magnificent kingdom prayer of David, one source notes the following:

“King David’s famous prayer in 1 Chronicles 29 (King James Version) is a profound declaration of God’s absolute sovereignty, majesty, and ownership of all creation. Spoken near the end of his life, it serves as a prayer of thanksgiving and dedication for the materials gathered to build the Temple.

Summary of Key Verses (1 Chronicles 29:10-19 KJV)

    • Verses 10-13: David blesses God, declaring His greatness, power, and glory. He affirms that God owns all things in heaven and earth, including riches and honor.
    • Verses 14-16: David expresses humility, noting that all gifts come from God and that human life is short and temporary.
    • Verses 17-19: He prays for the people’s continued devotion and asks for Solomon to have a “perfect heart” to keep God’s commandments and build the temple.”

1 Chronicles 29

David Prays in the Assembly

10  Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.

11  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

12  Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

13  Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

14  But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

15  For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

16  O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.

17  I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.

18  O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

19  And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.

20  And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and the king.

21  And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:”
