The only way sin will be forgiven and devils will leave a person is if they “submit” to God in true repentance – James 4:7.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

YOU can pray till you’re blue in the face for someone to be delivered YET until that individual chooses to truly repent, Satan will rule over them! James 4:7 …. so preach the Word, the convicting Law of God to them, hoping and praying they will repent. ALL who repent and come to Jesus are delivered! No one who doesn’t repent will be brought into Christ and delivered from the devil.

The best thing for the rebel is the complete Satanic destruction of their life in order for them to be driven to Christ in repentance. Remember the un-repentant fornicator in 1 Corinthians 5 who when turned over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, then chose to repent and be restored to Jesus? – His restoration is recorded in 2 Corinthians 2.

When God changes hearts there will be the fruit of sanctification – being set apart for Christ’s glory.
