ATTENTION CHRISTMAS BASHERS….. WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU LED SOMEONE TO JESUS? Are we spending more time and energy Christmas bashing than we are spending ministering the Word of the Gospel?

How we choose to view things that are non-essential to salvation.

But to the defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure – The apostle joins defiled and unbelieving, to intimate that nothing can be clean without a true faith: for both the understanding and conscience, those leading powers of the soul, are polluted; consequently, so is the man and all he does.” John Wesley

When we honor God we know there is no power greater than Him, right…. unless we give those things power. God’s perfect love in us “casteth out fear” right? (1 John 4:16-18)

In non-essentials such as holidays, if you don’t have faith to do something, don’t do it. And shut your mouth concerning other of Christ’s saints in these things. It’s none of your business. Read Romans 14 and 1 Peter 4:15. Speaking of non-essentials – things NOT essential to salvation – the apostle Paul writes:

“Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. … 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. … 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” Romans 14:22-23

Some are so busy bashing paganism that they have said nothing of the Word, nothing of the Gospel, nothing of the absolute necessity of the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. The divine command is to “Preach the word.” (2 Timothy 4:2) No one is going to be saved by the exposing of paganism.

Jesus and His holy apostles didn’t seem to spend a lot of time exposing paganism – which is everywhere, EVERY day of every year in this fallen world. This has been the case since the fall, 6,000 years. No, instead Jesus and His apostles brought the SOUL-ution – the Gospel.

With no apology to anyone, I celebrate Jesus Christ and all that pertains to Him, 24/7/365. No I don’t celebrate “Christmas” in any manner as do the heathen.

Some conflate all the paganism which Christians as if they are saying “Oh, we celebrate the roman cult, tammuz, semiramis, nimrod, etc”. Not. They have no idea about all that and are just spending time with their family and friends and hopefully witnessing to them. Are they going to hell for that? No.

Lynne Parker writes:

“There is no question that “Christmas” is highly commercialized and there are elements attached that are pagan or paganistic. And anyone with two functioning brain cells knows that Dec 25 is not Jesus actual date of birth. But it has been set aside to commemorate his birth. Consider also 1. It is not a sin to give someone a gift. 2. It is not a sin to sing hymns or read scripture concerning his birth (children particularly love that). 3. It is not a sin to gather with family and friends and eat together. 4. It is not a sin to decorate one’s home with beautiful lights and greenery to bring joy to the household. 5. It is not a sin to basically attend a candlelight service that glorifies the Lord and read scripture. 6. It is not a sin to bake cookies. 7. It is not a sin to enjoy a quiet fire with your spouse. 8. It is certainly not a sin to share Christ with people whose hearts may be open or somewhat softened at this time to hear the gospel. If someone is convicted about it they shouldn’t celebrate. But I can say my mom made very sure that I understood what Christmas meant – I remember well attending church before anything else. We live in a society ladened with deception and a professing “church” as well – but the truth remains Jesus Christ was born and he was born to be our redeemer. This is the message that’s important.”

It seems that some are so intent on exposing the obvious that they do no ministering and never mention the absolute cardinal necessity of the virgin birth and first coming of Jesus….. Which was specifically celebrated by many…. Instead of celebrating His birth, they spend their time pouncing on the paganism….. acting as if it’s more powerful that God. They lead no one to Jesus.

If the birth of Jesus means nothing to you, that means His death on the cross for our sins means nothing to you. His first coming, His birth was essential to His propitiatory death on the cross for our sins and His glorious second coming. His birth was the grand fulfillment of prophecy and celebrated by the Holy Ghost, the angels of Heaven, Simeon, Ana the prophetess, wise men, and shepherds. Read Luke 2.

On the calendar of the righteous what day do we hand over to Satan? None. EVERY day is the right, the privilege to celebrate any and all things concerning Christ. No one is going to hell for celebrating Jesus 365 days a year, including on Dec 25. This is a NON-essential to which Romans 14 speaks. We are not to judge other Christians on non-essentials (Romans 14). Sounds like some have handed over Dec 25 to satan as if any day is his day.

Feel free to correct, steer, shed light on this direction, observation …..

What darkness did Jesus and His apostles expose by the light?

Seems Jesus and His holy apostles warned most of false doctrines in the church world, not paganism, which is not of the kingdom of Christ at all.

Paul warns of the false teachers within the church world who would draw away disciples after them (Acts 20:20-32). Jesus warned of the same – people posting as His representatives while being wolves (Matt 7:15; 24:11).

Establishing God’s people in Christ – to be ever more rooted and grounded in Him – seems like a prominent endeavor of Christ and His apostles (Col 2:3-10; Matt 7:19-29, etc.).

If you are going to insist upon exposing paganism, you may wish to do it 24/7/365 because it’s happening at all times, in every place in this fallen world.

Are we more busy cursing the darkness than we are shining the light of Christ straight into the darkness of this fallen world? What did Jesus say in Matthew 5:16?

Just exactly what darkness did Jesus and His apostles expose strategically, most prominently? It was those wolves within – not so much without the professing kingdom. The false leaders within the professing church world (Matthew 23; Acts 20:20-32; 1 Timothy 4:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:1-13; 4:1-5; 2 Peter 2:1-3; Revelation 2-3, etc.). Revelation 2 and 3 are Jesus’ letters to the CHURCHES, right?

“Go” do what?

Did Jesus ever command His people to “Go ye into all the world and protest paganism”? No. Did Jesus command us to “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”? Yes (Mark 16:15). That’s the point, where is our energy being expended? What shall we answer to the LORD on Judgment Day? Surely we know He’s not going to say “well done my good and faithful servant for exposing paganism.” WHO are we planting the seed of the Word of God into? Isn’t that how we were born again? Yes (1 Peter 1:23).

It seems that we get lost in condemning the paganism of Christmas. This completely incapacitates us from doing what Jesus directly commanded us to do – “preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15) Should we not use every occasion, including the month of December, to redeem the time by ministering to others?

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15

PWT is the apostolic balance – Preach. Warn. Teach. Colossians 1:28.

WHEN did the announcement of the Savior’s birth cease to become “good tidings of great joy … to all people”?

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” Luke 2:10

Jesus could never had died for us to bring us back to God if He had not first come to us, been born through a virgin in perfect fulfillment of the prophecies of the prophets of God (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; Micah 5:2; Matthew 1:21-23, etc.).

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” 1 Peter 3:18

God’s People Celebrate King Jesus 24/7/365, not 364 – including December 25th. They don’t celebrate paganism or “Christmas” – they celebrate Christ.

Is celebrating JESUS, not paganism, on December 25th, a sin? Chapters and verses please.

Beware of the false conflation which is commonly done by the self-righteous of our day. Examples ….

You praise Jesus on December 25 and thank Him for coming the first time to die for your sins so you are a pagan because there’s a lot of paganism in Christmas. False.
You voted for trump so that means you worship trump and do not trust God. False.

Hint: You are not a hero for identifying obvious paganism. But that will lead no one to Jesus. What did Jesus say in Matthew 5:13-16? Are you ministering His Gospel to the sinners you scorn?

Read Psalm 1 afresh: IS today the day we repent and get out of “the seat of the scornful”?

In this fallen world who declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on December 25?

“Under Emperor Constantine, the Church in Rome began celebrating Christmas on Dec. 25 in 336. Some say the date was chosen to outshine the Sol Invictus and pagan celebrations.”

YET, some put more stake in Constantine, Rome, than they do the Bible. So who’s really owned by Rome? They are – because Rome dictates what they do and when they do it, not the Bible. Instead of going back to the Bible, Luke 2 for example, they live in reaction to Constantine, Rome…. in other words they are owned by these pagan entities. They give themselves to serve in reaction to them instead of serving the bless-ed Savior according to what the final divine authority of His Word states concerning the first coming, the birth of the only begotten Son of God (Luke 2).

Read Luke 2 before you continue in your error. The Bible reveals that the Holy Ghost, the heavenly host, the angels of God, Joseph and Mary, the wise men, Simeon, and “Ana, a prophetess,” all celebrated the first coming, the birth of Jesus – without which there would be no second coming, there would be no salvation. How could Jesus have died for our sins had He not first come to the earth, had He not be born into the world? Read Luke 2 before you consider continuing in your error. Imagine the excitement to see with their very eyes all the prophecies of the Messiah unfolding before their very eyes!

If you can’t deny, and you can’t, that all those above celebrated the long awaited birth of Jesus, then you may wish to consider your approach.

Pagan worship is sin, not celebrating Jesus’ and His first or second coming.

If Jesus hadn’t come the first time, we would not be looking for His soon return. The Bible calls His return “that blessed hope.”

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13

SOME seem to preach more about, against paganism than they do preach the Word, the Gospel.

Did Jesus say “Go ye into all the world and preach against paganism”? OR “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”? See Mark 16:15.

Hello everyone ….. Read Luke 2 … notice the host who celebrated Christ’s birth which included angels from Heaven, the Holy Ghost (GOD), the angels, the wise men, Ana, Simeon, etc. How could Jesus have come to died for us if He wasn’t born into the earth? Isn’t that why He came – to die? And if He didn’t come in fulfillment of prophecy, how could He have died for the sins of the world?

…. when these same pharisees lead no one to Jesus, any day of the year. They can’t lead someone else to Jesus where they themselves are not willing to go.

Divine Love Never Ceases its Activities!

Did Jesus tell us He ceases His mission of mercy to the lost, to His people who are in need, on December 25? Chapters and verses please.

Note: God will not use us to witness and win others to Him if we are too busying judging, condemning them.

Some seem to seek to be known by what they are against. Yet, what are they for? WHO are they leading to Jesus? No one.

The Condemnation of the Christmas Bashers

EVEN though some are erroneously claiming others are going to hell for celebrating JESUS on a certain day….

I never said you are going to hell for bashing the paganism in Christmas. What are we choosing to focus on? Since when is Dec 25 the day we take off, we stop shining Christ’s light into this dark world?

This seems to be a matter of maturity in Christ or lack thereof. Read Romans 14.

Wow, think with me for a moment. Let’s peer into eternity past, based on what we know from God’s Word: Just think, imagine with me of where we’d be – you and I, the worst, vilest sinners ever – IF Jesus had looked down from Heaven and acted like many condemners act today….. Just what if Jesus had said “Father, there’s nothing but paganism, sin, going on in the midst of fallen men, in the earth…. so NO Father I am staying here, I am not going into the middle of that darkness to die for any of those pagan sinners.” Wow.

Aren’t you glad God our loving heavenly the Father “so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17) ????

As He personally came into this dark pagan world, the light of the world Himself, Jesus commands His own to personally never be guilty of covering His light in us, never lampshade His glorious light (Matthew 5:13-16) …. No, instead, SHINE HIS LIGHT into the darkness of this world. This is a divine command:

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

***IS this the year that we finally choose to get a more godly, biblical, mature, winsome, balanced, Christ-like perspective?

Did God so LOVE or did He so HATE the world that He gave His only begotten Son? Which of these – love or hatred – characterizes your perspective?

Is today the day we repent afresh and get, be busy about our Father’s business – which was obviously not condemnation because the whole world was and is already condemned in their sin (John 3:16-18). HE gave us Himself as the Solution.

Fresh Start with God

Oh, and by the way, I personally do nothing – zilch – to celebrate “Christmas”, nothing. So bear that in mind as you read this.

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and FOR THIS CAUSE CAME I INTO THE WORLD, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” John 18:37

Jesus came to die. Jesus could not have died for the sins of this fallen world unless He was first born into this world.

Are We Minding Our Own Business?

Jesus says the self-righteous lost souls “have omitted the weightier matters of the law.” That is, they overemphasize the minors and underemphasize the majors. In other words they condemn others for what THEY not God consider a sin – such as worshipping Jesus 365 days per year including December 25. The fact that Jesus uses the phrase “the WEIGHTIER matters of the law (Word)” makes it clear that some things are more important than others in His divine kingdom. Jesus even cites to us, to all, things that are of higher importance in His kingdom – “judgment, mercy, and faith:” (Matthew 23:23)

“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and HAVE OMITTED THE WEIGHTIER MATTERS OF THE LAW, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.” Matthew 23:23-25

The pharisees were experts at condemning others. It’s scary how much this severe warning applies to many of the self-righteous in our midst today:

“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20

“5:20 To gain entrance into the kingdom, our righteousness must surpass the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees (who were content with religious ceremonies which gave them an outward, ritual cleansing, but which never changed their hearts). Jesus uses hyperbole (exaggeration) to drive home the truth that external righteousness without internal reality will not gain entrance into the kingdom. The only righteousness that God will accept is the perfection that He imputes to those who accept His Son as Savior (2Co_5:21). Of course, where there is true faith in Christ, there will also be the practical righteousness that Jesus describes in the remainder of the Sermon.” Believer’s Bible Commentary

“Except your righteousness shall exceed – περισσευση, Unless your righteousness abound more – unless it take in, not only the letter, but the spirit and design of the moral and ritual precept; the one directing you how to walk so as to please God; the other pointing out Christ, the great Atonement, through and by which a sinner is enabled to do so – more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, who only attend to the letter of the law, and had indeed made even that of no effect by their traditions – ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. This fully explains the meaning of the preceding verse. The old English word is right-wiseness, i.e. complete, thorough, excellent Wisdom. For a full explanation of this verse, see Luk_18:10, etc.” Adam Clarke

EVERY true disciple of Jesus knows that if God could find and save the WORST sinner ever – themselves – He can find and save anyone!!!! Repent now of all self-righteousness. You are as sure for hell as if you were already there if you are self-righteous (Matthew 21:31, etc.).

The angels and wise men celebrated the coming of Christ. Since when would it be inappropriate to celebrate Heaven’s KING? Just WHAT, second, minute, or year would it be God’s will not to celebrate the bless-ed LORD and Savior who came into this world, was born of a virgin to die for our sins? Is is okay with you if God’s people celebrate JESUS – every aspect of Him, His life – every days except December 25th? WHERE does the Bible say that if one of God’s people celebrate Christ on December 25th, they are going to hell?

Why shouldn’t God’s people insert His truth into everything, at all times? – EVERY day of the year, including December 25! Isn’t that what Jesus meant when He said we are His light and salt in the earth? (Matthew 5:13-16) God is good and God is able! Ask Him to use you during this period of the year!

The prophet Isaiah foretold Jesus the Messiah’s birth! There could be no bigger news except “It is finished.” (John 19:30) Christ could never have died for us, accomplishing redemption, had He not come to the earth. In fact, over 300 prophecies of Christ were given in the Old Testament and several dealt with His first coming, exactly where He would be born (Micah 5:2), that He’d be born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14), that He’d be divine – “God with us” (Matthew 1:23; Isaiah 9:6-7), etc. Did Christ not split time in half when He was born? Oh and what about the joy in Elizabeth, John the Baptist and a whole host of others in the early chapters of Matthew and Luke concerning the birth of the Messiah?

“Well I didn’t want to have to do this but here you go. Everything this world has to offer is PAGAN except two, Jesus and His Word. That said read Colossians 2 and Romans 14 regarding celebration of this or that!! There are more scriptures you can find.

The Word doesn’t say the world changes. It says you’re clean because of the Word or are you!? If not, it’s you not the world!!

Key is Who are you remembering?

Good Friday, Resurrection Day, Thanksgiving, and CHRISTmas I remember Jesus and the Father and the Work done in them only!

You have a problem with those mentioned above but you go to quinces, birthday parties, gender reveal parties most of the time even when they’re not married, house warming parties, company parties, parades, all sport events. You affirm the LGBTQ life styles. You support pastors that lie to you using scripture. You’re a KC, Mason, kawana, and any other secret or private club. You’re in a biker, car, jeep, lowrider and so on club. I could go on and on but I won’t.

You have Colossians 3:23, Romans 14:23, 2 Timothy 1:7

Scriptures to live for the Lord Proverbs 3:5-6, Jeremiah 29:11, John 3:16, John 16:33, Romans 15:13, Isaiah 40:31, Matthew 11:28,

If your mind takes you places you shouldn’t go then stay in your house. But if you’re a new creature IN Christ you will have peace about being light among darkness.

We ought to be glad that even though the anti-christ won’t say it, they know what we’re doing, we are thinking about Jesus!!

Should Christians Celebrate Christmas? [radio]

LOTS OF PAGANISM AND LIES SURROUNDING CHRISTMAS AND YET LOTS OF GRAND OPPORTUNITY TOO, RIGHT? Are you more busy bashing the paganism surrounding Christmas than you are intently building up the body of Christ and evangelizing the lost? Many specialize in cursing the darkness and yet Jesus chose to come straight into the darkness and die for our sins, for all of us previous pagans. Counting the Cost – Following Jesus to the End of Your Life [podcast]

The Cost of Discipleship

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24

Those who count the cost refuse to count their own life dear to themselves and this is the only way not to be derailed, to finish our course, enduring to the end.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Revelation 12:11

Those who balk at and ignore that Jesus says you MUST “endure to the end” to be “saved” into eternal glory, simply do not love Him (Matthew 10:22; 24:13, etc.). Jesus is not worth their life. They were worth His life which He gave for them on the cross, yet the Son of God is not worth giving up their own life in this fleeting world. Counterfeits. These are the frauds who hide behind the eternal security sham.

“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33

EARTHLY FAMILY DOES NOT COME FIRST – THE LORD DOES

By divine design, there’s an order of priority in the Ten Commandments. Here’s the first of the ten:

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3

And the fifth:

“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.” Exodus 20:12

Honoring God supersedes even the love we have for our husband/wife.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-39

Jesus knew that if we don’t love Him supremely, we will allow other relationships to interfere and circumvent our relationship with Him.

If we don’t hate those other relationships compared to our love for Him, our decisions will be affected, will be to please them and not Him. When we love the LORD supremely, His will takes precedence, priority over all others.

“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26

We must love the LORD so much that our love for others is near to being hate in comparison. If we don’t love God supremely, others will without exception, drag us downward and away from Him.

Of this passage in Luke 14, FB Meyer wrote:

“Our love must be greater than the ties of family affection, Luk_14:26; must be greater than our love for our own way, which must be nailed to the Cross, Luk_14:27; must be greater than our love of possessions and property, Luk_14:33. Christ has done more than any other teacher to cement the relationships of human love, but He always asks that they should be subordinated to the claims of God. Oh, for the love that Paul had! See Php_3:8.”

“What a comfort it is to realize that God counted the cost before He set about the task of redemption, whether of a world or of us as individuals. He knew all that it would cost, and surely He did not begin what He cannot complete!”

In Matthew 10, after speaking of the essential of enduring to the end (v22), Jesus gives warning concerning those things most likely to derail and prohibit our enduring to the end in His will.

“And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” Matthew 10:36-37

Of this Adam Clarke wrote:

“He that loveth father or mother more than me – He whom we love the most is he whom we study most to please, and whose will and interests we prefer in all cases. If, in order to please a father or mother who are opposed to vital godliness, we abandon God’s ordinances and followers, we are unworthy of any thing but hell.”

Of Matthew 10:34-42, FB Meyer writes profoundly:

“RECEIVING CHRIST’S REPRESENTATIVES

In Jesus Christ we acquire a new affinity, stronger than that of family ties. When we enter into the family of God we belong to all His children. They are our brethren and sisters in the most intimate sense. See Mat_12:48-50. The new love that floods our nature does not make us less but more tender and sympathetic toward our own kith and kin; but if we are compelled to choose, then we must stand with the children of God, though it should rend us from the old happy family life in which we were nurtured.

As to the closing paragraph, may we not illustrate it thus? When the widow who sustained Elijah at Zarephath entered Paradise, she found herself standing amid the great prophets of Israel. When she asked the attendant angel whether there was not some mistake, he replied, ‘Certainly not. In treating the prophet as you did, you proved yourself to be of the same spirit and temper as he; and it is but right that you should share in the prophet’s reward.’”

To those who are entangled with earthly family, namely unbelievers who are not repenting, it would be spiritually beneficial to get free, to cease your dependence on them and to sever the soul ties and cease basing your emotional well-being on them and how they view you and your decisions. Lay the axe to the root as you denounce false obligation to them. “Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:60). Read Matthew 10.

You are no longer your own. You are bought with the price of Christ’s blood (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). You now and forever are a part, a member of the eternal family of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:14-15).

“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole FAMILY in heaven and earth is named,” Ephesians 3:14-15

Jesus Addressed the Excuses

Jesus addresses excuses, diversions concerning obeying Him, asserting our highest priority – the LORD, not family. The point becomes even clearer – that we are to be captive to the LORD, our “first love,” supremely, and not family (Revelation 2:4-5).

“And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father (wait till parents die). 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:59-62

Jesus further establishes that He is to be supreme in our lives and those who are His – not natural familial bonds. The body of Christ, its members, are our eternal family.

“And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. 28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” Luke 11:27-28

The harshest of biblical truth is the delicacy, the delight of the true disciple of Jesus. He runs to all of it and never from any of it. He embraces the cross, never evading it. He delights in the sword of the Spirit that cuts to the core and carves the image of Christ into his life – into the fabric, the innermost core of who he is in Christ! Christ and Christ alone is his sole identity and he counts not his own life in this world dear unto himself so that he is able to finish his course with great joy – hearing from His Savior the sweetest of all words “Well done, thou good and faithful servant … enter thou into the joy of thy lord” (Matthew 25:21; Acts 20:24; Romans 8:29; Galatians 2:20; 6:14; 2 Timothy 2:3).

Militancy is essential in our abiding relationship with Christ (Matthew 11:12). Heartfelt love also.

So many today who claim Christ view salvation as something they did in the past and not a present relationship with Christ on His stated terms (John 15; Titus 1:16).

Jesus commands His very own to “endure unto the end” to be “saved,” and unless one becomes deliberate, absolute, militant, he will not make it “unto the end” with Christ (Matthew 10:22; 24:13; Mark 9:43-49; 2 Timothy 2:3, etc.).

“And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage (a messenger to negotiate peace), and desireth conditions of peace. 33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:25-33

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:5-7

Striving Lawfully – That is, According to the Rules, the Terms

Denouncing the crippling, corrupting comforts of Laodicea. Grasping for the obedient love of Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-22).

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.” 2 Timothy 2:3-5

May God bless each of His people to “endure hardness” as good soldiers of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 2:3). Take note that “there is no respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:11). The LORD made His servant Jeremiah obey Him on His terms. God never bends or modifies, bends the rules (2 Timothy 2:5). We must not deceive ourselves and must “strive lawfully” which means according to HIS terms, not our own or any other.

“And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.” 2 Timothy 2:5

“Be Not Weary in Well Doing”

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

SATAN tempting you to give up? Who wins if you do? Where shall you turn? Turning away from God means we are without Him in our life and trials, right? The LORD, who is your Potter, has a plan. He will absolutely bring you through the floods of water and fire! (Isaiah 43:1-2; Jeremiah 18:1-6) After saving us, God has to bring us to an end of ourselves and that happens through “much tribulation” (Acts 14:22; 2 Corinthians 4; 12:7-12, etc.). Read 2 Corinthians 4. When Jesus had fed the flesh of the multitudes, they turned and walked away from the Savior. But…

GOD told us He’s laughing at these luciferians and all their “elaborate plans” to control humanity. Read Psalms 2. Jesus is coming. His enemies will be crushed under His holy, Almighty feet (Romans 16:20).

The Coming of the Son of Man

Bow now or burn forever.

All who refuse to repent, bowing down to “kiss the Son” of God will perish in their own corruption and be violently vanquished into the bowels of eternal damnation, the prison of fire, which will then be “cast into the lake of fire.”

FACTS:

Mother Teresa was never born again. No person who is truly born again remains in the cult of Catholicism, without exception.
Mother Teresa never even claimed to be a born again Christian – besides, there’s no such thing as a Catholic who is a born again Christian.
She never once said you can only be saved by Christ through grace.
She never once quoted Jesus when He gave the essential of knowing Him: “Ye must be born again” (John 3:3, 7).
Mother Teresa was a sinner who spent her life championing the cause of an antichrist, works-based cult.
She kissed statues (idols) and honored the phony pope of Rome.
Mother Teresa betrayed the LORD her whole life and taught salvation by works.
She admitted in her books that she did not know the LORD.

On the surface (at first glance), philanthropic acts of kindness may seem noble and yet actually be a stunt to draw publicity to the individual or group performing them. Asceticism is alive and well today.

“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms (personal giving) may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:1-4

You see, many who claim to be Christians are quick to join in building homes for people, marching in pink to raise money for breast cancer, give to the murderous United Way and Susan G. Komen each of which supports Planned MURDERhood in killing innocent babies. Yet, these same people never obey the One they say saved them by telling others about His salvation. Astounding!

Defacing ourselves to somehow merit saving grace is an antichrist endeavor. Christ’s one perfect sacrifice alone merited our salvation and to be His, one must repent and put their faith in Him. “Believe on the LORD Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).…. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

ACCORDING TO THE NEW TESTAMENT RECORD, EVEN IF WE GIVE OUR VERY BODIES TO BE BURNED OUT OF BEING A SUPPOSEDLY KIND PERSON AND YET DON’T LOVE GOD ENOUGH TO OBEY HIM BY REPENTING AND GETTING SAVED BY CHRIST’S GRACE ALONE AND LOVE OUR TRADITION/RELIGION MORE THAN HIM, IT’S ALL IN VAIN AND HELL AWAITS (1 CORINTHIANS 13).

The national anthem of the rebel who cloaks himself with his religious facade is “I Did it MY Way.” To know God and to be in Heaven eternally instead of hell, one must do things on God’s terms and no other.

So called “mother” Teresa never once even claimed to be born again, washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, or anything but an idolatrous Catholic who was in rejection of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus and “earning” her own salvation. She admitted to being a lost soul in her own books.

Beware of this generation of counterfeit “Christians” being raised up who think that they do God service by their own good works. They are being sold down the river into hell. They refuse to receive the grace of God freely given in Christ and to obey Him in preaching His saving Gospel message which Jesus sends His people forth to do (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20).

Someone may say, “But what about Acts 10:35?” “But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”

Reply: v. 35 of Acts 10 must be taken in context with its immediate text and also the whole of Scripture. Note Acts 15:11 – “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.” Good works are a mere outworking of saving grace. No one earns their way into Heaven – only Jesus could have and did do that. Rom. 3:23-25

The Word of God tells us that even if we give our very lives without being led of Christ and loving Him supremely, it will profit us zilch:

“And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:3

Many today are being misled to believe that if they will give to a local church to help them build a physical building or do something else that is never seen in the New Testament Scriptures, that they are meriting treasure from God. They give in vain unless it’s to a needy person (especially a Christian) or a ministry that is genuinely fulfilling a New Testament purpose.

Digging a bit deeper than the surface, one will find that it’s ALL a publicity stunt of the Catholic church to “confirm” their adherents in the lies that snare and keep bound their souls.

Deborah Blanchard notes:

“Mother Teresa wasn’t even a mother…where does man get these titles anyway? Nuns are called mothers? Man made false titles! She espoused teaching not the truth of Jesus Christ being the only way to the Father but that anyone can be a better person, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim…etc.”

Mother Teresa was yet another pawn of the pagan Catholic church. They did photo shoots to stage her as some hero of help. She championed the cause of a false religion that is leading millions to hell. So, she is a false prophet. Also, Teresa never – not one time – spoke the words of Christ expressing the clear truth of how to become a Christian. She never once spoke Christ’s words “Repent” or “Ye MUST be born again” (Matthew 4:17; John 3:3, 7). We know by this that she is “accursed” for preaching “another gospel” (Galatians 1:6-9). Like all Catholics, Mother Teresa never once said what Paul taught about being saved by the grace of Christ through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).

“Mother Teresa did not testify to the Gospel. Her focus was on the virtues of ‘ Suffering.’ Although she won a Nobel Peace Prize for her humanitarian work and founded the Missionaries of Charity, the millions of dollars she attained from the rich on her World Tour was not used to improve the impoverished lifestyle of the suffering people of India! Mother Teresa’s money was mostly spent on religious activities and not on the poor. She built a hundred facilities all over the world bearing her name and organization ‘Missionaries of Charity.’ Most of them were nunneries used to train uneducated and obedient young women in her beliefs which served to establish a ‘Cult of Suffering’.” Kristin S.

It’s not our suffering that merits any bit of God’s mercy and saving grace but rather the suffering of the one Messiah, Jesus Christ, on that cross 2,000 years ago. As He was bleeding for our sins, He declared, “It is finished” which means “Paid in Full!” (John 19:30). Our sins have now been paid for in full by Christ alone and only through knowing Him can anyone be saved. Peace with God

Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone. There is no salvation in Rome. No sinner dressed in a religious costume can forgive his own sins, much less anyone else’s. Only GOD can forgive sins and He will only do that for those who come directly to Him through Christ, the only Mediator between God and man. Jesus says that only “The Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins” (Matthew 9:6). The Catholic church is a works-based, Christ-denying antichrist cult. They worship “another Jesus” (2 Corinthians 11:2-5). Trusting the Catholic Religion?

Hi Sandra. On what basis was she a Christian? Did Jesus Christ come in vain? Are we going to call the Son of God a liar? Please quote mother Teresa giving the original Gospel please. Good works do not earn anyone favor, forgiveness or Heaven …. without exception, we have all sinned against God, the Judge of our eternal souls …. We have all lied, stolen, used His holy name in vain, not honored our parents, etc. Jesus came to save and forgive, something He alone can do. Mother Teresa preached no such thing. She touted and championed the cause of a false religion, misleading millions. Jesus says “Ye must be born again.” John 3:3, 7 … “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Where did “mother” Teresa ever preach that the sinner must “repent” and that “ye must be born again” and that you can only be saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ and not by your own works? Please give us chapter and page number in her books. Waiting. … Luke 13:3; John 3:3, 7; Eph. 2:8-9 … Unfortunately, you will never find her preaching that original Gospel but “another gospel” which is a false gospel … So-called “mother” Teresa perpetrated and championed a false religion, leading many to eternal damnation.
