We have been dumbed down due to sin.

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34

As a country forgets where we came from and why we were ever blessed of God in the first place, so that people go downward. America was blessed to be the greatest Nation that was and this was only because of God and godly wisdom and principles taken and applied from the BIBLE. This country would not have lasted this long without the hand of God and His Word as our foundation.

We were not a chosen Nation like Israel but we were a favored Nation only because of God and His Glory for His Gospel sake.

Someone may ask…. “But what can I do? How can God use me?”

First, let us remember that it’s Christ and the glory of HIS eternal kingdom that matters, not saving America. Yet, the LORD has told us that He blesses the nation, He heals the land where His people dwell when they truly humble themselves as individuals and repent, turn from their wicked ways, and cry out to Him.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.” 2 Chronicles 7:14-15
