SO, if JESUS addressed ahab and jezebel and the horrible effects of allowing a woman to lead His church, should we not talk about it? (Revelation 2:20-24) How is discussing something clearly addressed in the BIBLE causing division? Simple: By divine design, truth only causes division between those who love it and those who reject it! (Matthew 10:34; John 8:47)

When this topic is discussed, one can notice exactly who it is that doesn’t want this discussed, and call it un-edifying and divisive. It’s those who are in violation of this truth who hate the light of truth shining on their own darkness (John 3:19-21).

Lots of people who are called out for their darkness and disobedience to the Word of God want to claim they are being “led by the Holy Spirit.” Basically, they are saying that they are not accountable to obey God’s Word because they are led by the Spirit. Well, we know they are being led by a spirit but it’s not the Holy Spirit of truth (John 14:26; 16:13-14, etc.). This is their way of smoke screening their own rebellion, their own lawless hearts against the LORD. The Holy Spirit only dwells in those who obey Jesus, obey the Word of God and the Holy Ghost will never contradict His own Word where He clearly sets the roles for men and women. God doesn’t use anyone, including a donkey to cast doubt on or deny His truth written in His Word.

LOTS OF PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT: Jesus anoints His people with His Holy Ghost to put to death the deeds of the body! (Romans 8:13-14) If you are truly full of and led by the Holy Spirit, you are denying yourself, taking up the cross daily, and authentically following Him (Luke 9:23-24, etc.).

Duane Stewart writes: “Jezebel does not like this biblical message that exposes her! It exposes her. Real GODLY women are so content and seek to operate in their creation roles. God has different roles for men and women, but He loves them the same. But that’s not enough for Jezebel. She always wants more, just like Eve did…….Genesis 3:6 says: ‘And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.'”

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1

HOW do we “try (test) the spirits”? (1 John 4:1) Simple: judge it against the written Word! (Acts 17:10-11)

Can you also tell us where even 1 women is seen as an elder over God’s people in the 27 books of the New Testament Scriptures?

These are some of the treacherous afflictions suffered when confronting this evil spirit that has possessed many today and is wreaking havoc (Revelation 2:20-24). And this pertains to the weak, moral coward men who allow (suffer) women to operate in a role of leadership God forbids (1 Timothy 2:12). Did Jesus not liken this jezebel and enabling ahab phenomenon to the very “depths of SATAN”? (Revelation 2:24) ONE of the things that makes Jezebel so seductive is that she will actually expose other false leaders. The fact that she exposes false teachers makes the game she’s running that much more seductive as she hides behind this feigned, supposed concern. Yet she herself is a lawless usurper and false. By exposing false leaders, the Jezebel is trying to appear to be the hero so she can set up her facade (cover, covert position) to operate from. Why would we be surprised since her father is the very master of deceit?

Jezebel can only function where there is one or more ahabs (Revelation 2:20-24).

Men failing to lead in no way justifies the sin of women elders. Jezebel. In fact, the men who failed to obey God in Thyatira allowed women to lead and it brought untold destruction to all. That’s what JESUS said. Revelation 2:20-24. Repent.

JEZEBELS will claim that those men who confront them “have a problem with women.” No! Jezebels have a problem with God and men! They are lawless, out of order, rebels. Jezebel, it’s an epidemic!

IF THE JEZEBELS DON’T HATE YOU YET, you haven’t yet penetrated too deep into the enemy’s camp. Keep plowing saints! And when you get persecuted and slandered and attacked by these wicked wolves, rejoice!

WOULD GOD LEAD A WOMAN TO CORRECT A MAN? There should be no question after reading this Bible verse. Women are not to teach NOR usurp authority over the man. There’s a stated order in God’s creation and in the Word for the family and the gatherings of the saints/church. The woman who argues doctrine with a man or seeks to rebuke/correct him is out of God’s order. Only a jezebel would dare so such while claiming to serve Jesus. There’s only 1 example of a woman ruling over men in the New Testament and it’s JEZEBEL! (Revelation 2:20-24; 1 Timothy 2:11-12)

THE COMPLIMENTARY BLESSING OF THE MASCULINE AND THE FEMININE IS A BEAUTIFUL TAPESTRY THE LORD DESIGNED. How many times is the word “Jezebel” found in God’s Word? Jezebel appears 23 times in the King James Bible.

Does the word “Jezebel” appear in the New Testament? If so, what is the context and teaching to be derived?

I said there is a spirit behind that rebellion; yes, which is biblical perspective …. Jesus told Peter to “get thee behind me SATAN” … right? Matt 16

Those who rebel have demons come upon them … demon spirits …. ANY woman seeking to act outside of God’s role for women has evil spirits on her.

Is it incorrect to use the term “spirit of Jezebel?”

“And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.” 2 Kings 2:15

The reason “The spirit of Elijah” was seen in the life of Elisha is due to the same blessed Holy Spirit and good fruit that existed in the life of Elijah and now abode in Elisha.

Because he would possess some of the same calling and characteristics of the prophet Elijah, it was said of John the Baptist that he would go before Christ and be “in the spirit and power of Elias.” So, the same Holy Spirit that dwelt in Elijah was to dwell in John the Baptist. … “And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17

The use of the words “spirit of” seems to indicate what spirit is in control of that person’s life or what spirit is operating in them. The fruit of that person’s life will always point to the answer – will always give you that answer.

So, if a person exhibits the same characteristics of Jezebel of old, then saying they have “the spirit of Jezebel” seems appropriate in my opinion.

HERE’S WHAT TYPE PEOPLE HAVE RESPONDED TO THE BIBLICAL TEACHING OF JEZEBEL:

God fearing women who agree with God’s Word, allowing the Holy Scriptures to be true and every man, woman, and devil a liar (Romans 3:4).
Women who still have jezebellic tendencies controlling their lives. These type women either a) hold in their anger and anguish, b) lash out at the messenger who dares to teach on this Bible topic, or c) repent and seek the LORD’s transformation and healing.
Men who are Ahab and feel a sense of familiarity with this evil spirit that can most of the time be found operating through women. Perhaps they have compromised with that evil spirit that was or is working in their mother or wife or some other woman in their life. This is exactly what Ahab, Jezebel’s husband did.

Those who attack the messengers who expose this evil spirit are obviously oppressed or possessed by that devil. The fact that they viciously persecute the preachers who expose the demons that control their lives only further proves the truth of this matter. They have to cover for themselves and so throw out a smokescreen to mask the evil that still lurks in their own hearts. The fact that they viciously attack the messengers of this message only further reveals that they are under its power, and, the need to preach this part of God’s Word. The demon spirits that attach to and operate in and through these people have been given free reign and authority due to some entry point. That entry point is sin which we are all born in. Those who do not repent (surrender; lay down their lives) are outside of the kingdom of God. They are in the kingdom of darkness and dominated by the enemy of all souls. So, as we see repeatedly in Scripture accounts, when Satan is getting ready to be exposed, he lashes out in order to attempt to evade being cast out (Matthew 8:28-32; Acts). The case in Matthew 8 where the devils asked Jesus to cast them into the swine seems to indicate that, knowing Christ was about to evict them from the human body they currently occupied, those evil spirits sought to remain in a body (or bodies) and so requested to be sent into the swine (pigs). The pigs ran violently into the nearby water and perished. If pigs don’t want devils possessing them, I wonder why some humans allow such, especially when God made full provision through Christ to deliver fully, set free, and make whole! (Luke 4:18) That’s why Jesus came!

God ordains that women are to protected under the servant leadership of men.

Like the original Jezebel, any person today who is possessed by her evil characteristics is under the domination of that same evil spirit.

JEZEBEL IS NOT UNDER GOD’S AUTHORITY AND LIKES TO OPERATE ANYWHERE SHE IS AND/OR ANYWHERE SHE CAN SUBVERT GOD’S ORDAINED ORDER AND AUTHORITY. IF A PERSON IS NOT TRULY SUBMITTED TO THE LORD, WHICH BEGINS WITH TRUE REPENTANCE, THAT PERSON WILL BE DOMINATED BY SATAN (JAMES 4:7). THIS EVIL SPIRIT SEEKS TO SUBVERT, DISRUPT AND DESTROY ANYWHERE IT POSSIBLY CAN SUCH AS IN THE INDIVIDUAL’S LIFE, THE FAMILY, THE CHURCH, ETC.

Did Jesus Mention Jezebel?

“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest (allow) that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.” Revelation 2:20-24

So, if Jesus says “I will kill her children with death,” is there not a deep need to understand what He’s saying to us here?

BEWARE: Any man who dares tackle or take on this biblical topic of Jezebel, is going to be profusely attacked, maligned, purposely mischaracterized, etc…… I have been teaching on this Bible topic along with dozens of others for three decades now and have found that dealing with this topic of Jezebel, from what Scripture tells us, will cause the guilty to lash out and attempt to discredit the messengers as men who hate and mistreat women, etc. Most people who are convicted of their sin by this Bible message, do not want to repent and so diabolical hatred fumes in them and they lash out viciously against the messenger who delivered God’s Word. Their guilt and then refusal to repent causes them to be turned over by the LORD to an even stronger “delusion” and occupation of Satan (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).

—- TIME FOR SOME BACKBONE GENTLEMEN! … IS IT THAT I HATE WOMEN OR IS IT THAT SOME, A FEW WOMEN, HAVE A DEEP SEATED HATRED FOR MEN DUE TO A PAST ABUSE? MANY TIMES THEY DON’T EVEN REALIZE IT, YET, AND THAT’S WHY THIS BIBLICAL MESSAGE IS SO IMPORTANT. IT BRINGS TO SURFACE DEEP HURTS AND MUST BE PREACHED BELOVED SAINTS BECAUSE IT’S IN GOD’S WORD. THE LORD IS SETTING THOSE WHO WILL FREE BY HIS BLESSED TRUTH AND GRACE (JOHN 8:31-32, 36). IS IT A SIN FOR A MAN CALLED OUT TO PREACH THE ORIGINAL GOSPEL TO DARE AND SAY THAT WOMEN ARE TO BE PROTECTED AND NOT THROWN TO THE DEVILS (DOGS) BY BEING SUFFERED (ALLOWED) TO BE IN A PLACE OF LEADERSHIP OVER MEN THAT IS RESERVED JUST FOR MEN? ISN’T THIS EXACTLY WHAT JESUS WAS SPEAKING OF IN REVELATION 2:20-23? LET’S PEER INTO HIS PRECEPTS BELOVED SAINTS SO WE CAN SEE HIS BLESSED WILL. IT’S ALWAYS TO BENEFIT US. WOMEN ARE “THE WEAKER VESSEL” AND MUST BE PROTECTED IN THE TRUTH BY GOD-FEARING MEN WHO HOLD TO IT (1 PETER 3:1-7). THIS IS WHAT JESUS IS SAYING IN REVELATION 2:20-23. AHABISH MEN ARE TO BE BLAMED TODAY – WEAK, SPINELESS, COWARDLY MORAL PANSIES WHO CATER TO FLESH INSTEAD OF FEARING AND OBEYING CHRIST. WHAT FRUIT DID JESUS TELL US RESULTS FROM ALLOWING WOMEN TO BE IN LEADERSHIP OVER MEN IN CHRIST’S BODY? IT’S HORRIBLE. PRAY OVER AND READ REVELATION 2:20-23 TO FIND OUT AND HEED THE WARNING OF THE SON OF GOD. … “AM I THEREFORE BECOME YOUR ENEMY, BECAUSE I TELL YOU THE TRUTH?” (GALATIANS 4:16) … IF SO, SO BE IT!

God made women with such great, incredible potential to bless or to curse:

“Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.” Proverbs 14:1

“Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.” Matthew 12:33

Speaking of the pattern of one’s life, Jesus taught that a good tree cannot bear bad fruit. A bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know (discern) them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” Matthew 7:15-20

Jesus commanded His people to “know” which is to discern all “by their fruits”—to be fruit inspectors—first in their own lives and then in all others (1 Corinthians 11:31-32; 2 Corinthians 13:5).

Personally, I fail to find anywhere that Jesus or His apostles instructed any saints to “go find a local church and plug in.” Hebrews 10:25 is peddled by pastors today who seek a loyal following instead of seeking to fulfill their God-given duties to establish their hearers in the faith, to ground them in God’s Word, to equip them for the work of the ministry, etc.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25

Read that again please. Does it say to find a church? No. Those who are born again ARE already God’s “church” which simply means His called out people. More biblically, should we not simply be His church—His people, daily? This seems to be the pattern we see among the earliest followers of Jesus (Acts 2:42-47; 5:42; Colossians 3:16, etc.).

The authentic remnant elect of Christ do not patronize or bid Godspeed to false leaders (2 John 9-11; Revelation 2:2).

Refusing to sit under, condone, bid Godspeed to the false gospel, false doctrines, false teachers and wolves of the modern church … is not forsaking the assembly! Instead, it’s obedience to God who mandates that we “mark them,” that we “earnestly contend” against them, and warns us that anyone who bids Godspeed to them will be punished with them (Romans 16:17-18; Jude 3; 2 John 10-11).

If you are prone to cite Hebrews 10:25 to advocate for going to church weekly, consider where you learned that. In churches, right? Funny you probably don’t even have 10 Bible verses memorized and yet, to the benefit of the pastor, you know that one. What does this tell us? What does this reveal? What’s wrong with this picture?

What happens when people get loyal to a local church especially in this late hour where great apostasy was foretold? Here are a few obvious things that happen when someone “joins a church.”

Most people who join churches today are not even born again, are not told they must repent and believe on Jesus to be born again. They become proud of their pastor and friends at that gathering (Zechariah 11:17).
Church members are not learning the Word of God itself because they are simply being led by a wolf who is fostering their allegiance toward himself, not Christ (Colossians 2:8-10, 18-19; 3:1-4).
They are not becoming soul winners (Proverbs 11:30; Luke 19:10).
Attenders of modern churches are seldom if ever taught, established with personal knowledge of the Scriptures, the paramount truth that God’s Word itself is the final divine authority on all matters of the Christian faith and the practice of it (Deuteronomy 4:10; Psalms 119; 138:2; Isaiah 40:8; Mark 13:31; John 10:35; Romans 3:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21).
The Bible message, warning to “love not the world” is seldom or never heard. Those who live worldly are separated from God (James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17).
Fake pastor do not teach people to get into God’s Word for themselves and so church attenders today are not in the Word daily for themselves which is by satanic design and therefore have no biblical foundation (Psalms 11:3; Matthew 7:19-29; 2 Timothy 2:15).
When do we hear in modern churches that Jesus Christ is the Grand Subject of all of Holy Scripture? We don’t (Psalms 40:7-8; Luke 24:25-27, 44-46; John 5:39-40; 2 Peter 1:19-21).
They are never taught the value God places upon good works in those He saves by His grace (Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 1:16; 3:8; 1 John 2:4).
The Great Commission Jesus gave to His people is never mentioned and when it is, they’ve turned it into just another way of promoting themselves, their own brand, ministry (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Luke 24:47; Book of Acts).
They are not being equipped “for the work of the ministry” which is the duty being carried out by every authentic overseer of Christ’s church (Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Peter 5:1-6).
Never taught in the modern churches is the fact that God holds each person He saves personally responsible, personally accountable for following Jesus daily (Deuteronomy 24:16; Joshua 24:14-15; Luke 21:34-36; 2 Timothy 2:15; Hebrews 3:6, 12-14; 10:26-39; 12:14; Revelation 2-3, etc.).
Modern day church members are not in the Word for themselves and the pastors have led them to this biblical illiteracy because they are building a church busine$$ and dumb people are easy prey/targets to rob (Isaiah 9:16; 56:8-12; Jeremiah 23; Ezekiel 34; Matthew 23; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12; 2 Timothy 4:2-4, etc.).
Church goers are barely or never heard the essential cross message which Jesus requires to follow Him (Matthew 16:24-25; Luke 9:23-24; Romans 6; 2 Corinthians 4:10-12; Galatians 2:20; 5:24; Colossians 3:3, etc.).
They are never warned of going to hell if they die in sin (Ezekiel 33:12-13; Matthew 10:22; 24:13; Hebrews 3:6; 10:26-39; Revelation 21:8, 27).
They are never taught that God is “Holy, holy, holy” and that He requires that those who are His be holy as He is holy (Isaiah 6:3; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Revelation 4:8).
Those who attend a church are never informed that only those who overcome sin and Satan will be with Jesus eternally which is exactly what Christ told each and every one of the seven churches of Asia minor (Revelation 2-3).
They are never taught that saving grace without exception results in the saved living according to the Scripture: “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (Titus 2:11-12).
Members are taught the demonic lie of eternal security/once saved always saved , which is Satan’s first teaching and irrefutably led to the fall of mankind in the Garden (Genesis 2:17; 3:4).
The mountains of warnings in Scripture are intentionally hidden from the congregational dupes who are willingly biblically ignorant, having rejected the knowledge/Word of God (Ezekiel 3:7; Hosea 4:6; 2 Corinthians 5:11; Colossians 1:28; Jude 3-4, etc.).
Most church members are not taught that only those who remain in Christ after being saved will be with Him eternally (Matthew 25:1-13; John 15:6; Romans 11:20-22, etc.).
Modern church attenders are seldom if ever warned to come out from this sinful world in the way they live (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1).
They are lukewarm which means hell bound if they don’t repent (Luke 3:15-16).
The original Gospel essential, the command to “repent” is never heard, even though it was the very first word spoken by John the Baptist, Jesus, and the apostle Peter in their ministries (Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 17:30).
Modern church members are merely a participant of a “Christian” social club seen nowhere in Scripture (Cp. Acts 2:42-47).
Their loyalty and allegiance is toward the pastor, singing group, and fellow congregants (Proverbs 21:16).
They are never taken through the volumes of Holy Scripture where God judged His very own people who backslid (Numbers 16; 25; Romans 11:20-22; 1 Corinthians 10:1-12; Hebrews 3-4; Jude 1).
Church members are taught to become dependent on their church affiliation, connection, and attendance and not the LORD (Matthew 15:8).
They are not daily seeking the face of the LORD (1 Chronicles 16:11; Psalms 27:4, 8; 57:7; 63:8; Matthew 6:33; Luke 9:23-24).
Seminarian led church members are seldom if ever taught that for eternal glory with Him Jesus requires the decisive cutting off of the hand and plucking out of the eye of any sin that defiles them in the eyes of a holy God (Mark 9:43-49).
When the Bible is literally read, 99% of the time it’s from a vatican corrupted fake “bible.”
Most are barely if at all different from any lost soul around them in their daily life (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
Due to their own refusal to truly repent and walk with Jesus daily, they were sent strong delusion, are in darkness and deception, and therefore “remain in the congregation of the dead” (Proverbs 21:16).

“God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.” Psalms 89:7

The words “leader” and “leaders” appear 6 times (total) in God’s Word. It is always to be in context of servant leading (Matthew 20:20-28; 23:8-12; 1 Peter 5:1-6). In the following and most popular times “leaders” is used, it’s in the negative, as in false “leaders.”

“For the LEADERS of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” Isaiah 9:16

“Let them alone: they be blind LEADERS of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” Matthew 15:14

They love their darkness rather than the light of His truth and therefore craft, they erect the image of a false god in their wicked unrepentant hearts.

Christ’s Non-Negotiable Original Gospel Imperative [podcast]

“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.” Matthew 12:30

It’s one thing to claim we are with Christ and He with us, and it’s another thing to prove we are with the Savior by adhering to His words. Jesus told us that those who are “of God” hear and obey His words (John 8:47).

If one chooses not to love Jesus enough to obey His stated terms, such a man has rejected the Son of God for the love of sinful self and will perish in his own corruption (Matthew 22:37-40; Luke 9:23-24; 14:33; 17:33; John 14:15; 1 John 2:3-6, etc.).

“Repentance is to TAKE SIDES with God against yourself. It is a CHANGE of attitude toward SELF, toward SIN, toward GOD, toward CHRIST that is so REAL that it RESULTS in a changed life. It is raising the WHITE FLAG in SURRENDER to God and turning to Christ as your only LORD and Savior. Repentance is NOT a work … works are the fruit of repentance (Ephesians 2:8-10).” Trent Austin

Only the counterfeit will get upset at this Gospel message because such a rebel wants nothing to do with taking personal responsibility for his sin, the denial of self, the crucified life to be set apart, holy, and having the Savior reign!

Notice how Jesus knits the denial of self, the daily cross, the putting off the deeds of the body, of keeping under the body (the iniquitous fallen nature) with the destiny of the eternal soul.

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?” Luke 9:23-25

Jesus made it clear here that the cross is an original Gospel essential, an absolute imperative to eternal glory with Him!

Each of us proves exactly who we love the most by the way we are living! – God or self!

Jacked Up Jezebel Rebuked [podcast]

Any person defending this jezebel heresy that women can be pastors, elders over men, is under the control of Satan, period. And in need of true repentance (James 4:7).

—-There are NO female apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, or teachers under the New Testament (Ephesians 4:8, 11-12). Jesus gave these “gifts unto MEN.” (Ephesians 4:8) There is not even one woman mentioned in 27 books as an elder over Christ’s flock. Such is clearly forbidden (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In Acts 21:9 we read of Phillip’s daughters which “did prophesy” which is a gift of the Spirit (one of the nine-1 Corinthians 12:7-10). The office gifts are eldership functions for men called to be overseers over Christ’s flock, which is completely different than the gifts of the Spirit which every believer can function in and certainly women are seen doing such as Phillip’s daughters and how women are mentioned concerning operating in the gifts of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians 14.

Classic case of a jezebel lashing out when the Word of GOD corrects her (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Her rebellion is against God. Jezebel is utterly rebellious. She hates what God’s Word says and so the demons that control jezebels will lash out in personal attacks against the men who stand on the truth unwaveringly (such as did Elijah whom Jezebel sought to kill).

“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” 1 Timothy 2:11-14

“As I look around America I ask myself who can find a virtuous woman? Whose whole life is surrendered to God. And centered in the fear of the Lord. No woman will submit to their husbands unless they first submit to God. Ephesians 5:22 says women are to submit to their husbands, “as unto the Lord.” That must come first. And what is a great price in the sight of God? A woman who has a meek and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:4). This is true beauty to God. But Jezebels are the complete opposite. Full of rebellion, pride and hatred! God says throw her down!” Karen Cochran

From the divine perspective, this is not about oppression but rather about protect. See Revelation 2:20-24 to see what Jesus warns when a woman is allowed to lead as an elder in the body of Christ. He uses the words “The depths of Satan” and speaks of the death and destruction that will result when the men allow a woman to lead in a manner that is outside of the stated role God ordained for the woman.

Yes the LORD said He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, sons and daughter, but not to anoint a woman to do something HE forbids. Women are to teach women yes but not the general body of believers (Titus 2:1-5). There are NO female elders in the New Testament. God forbids it. Eldership is reserved for men – to humbly teach, lead and protect and cherish women and children.

Revelation 2:20-24

Revelation 2:20-24 is about a certain self-appointed woman who was allowed by the spineless men in Thyatira to operate out of the biblically-stated order for women in the church setting.

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
