There’s Mercy and Grace for YOU

REMEMBER THAT “HIS COMPASSIONS FAIL……
NOTTTTTT”

IT doesn’t so much matter WHERE you are right now…. as much as WHERE you are heading. Get those hands and heart up to Heaven…. praise the name of Jesus from right where you are ….. know that God is merciful …… simply take Him at His Word.

“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.” Lamentation 3:21-24

Your eternity with Christ and the Father are worth fighting for – “FIGHT the good fight of faith.” (1 Timothy 6:12) Jesus purchased this for you with His own blood and has your very name placed on the banqueting table where we will celebrate Him and out eternity with Him at the Great Supper of the Lamb (Matthew 22; Revelation 19). The alternative is unthinkable, unalterable, irrevocable incarceration in the blistering burning fires of hell (Mark 9:43-49; Revelation 20:11-15). He gives each of us the choice (Joshua 24:15). To be there at the glorious inaugural reception celebrate requires that we do all things in this life HIS way and not our own (1 Samuel 15:22-23; Psalms 40:8; 119:133; Proverbs 3:5-7; Romans 6:16; 11:20-22; Revelation 1:3; 22:14, etc.).

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14

The precious blood of Jesus Christ is greater than your sin and the inward bent, the iniquity that led you to commit the sin! (1 Peter 1:18-19) Tpday is your day to take it to the throne of His grace (Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 1:9).

Taking our lives to the throne of His grace means 2 things:

  1. mercy and full forgivenss for our sins
  2. divine grace to influence and change our hearts in order to be established in His righteousness.

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16

Jesus is the Great High Priest who every lives to provide for His children what He died to purchase for them! Everything God commanded and fully requires from those who are His and will be with Him eternally, He has provided His grace, His divine enablement to accomplish.

***Can anyone else relate to needing this following blessed passage?

“Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. 20 My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me. 21 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.” Lamentation 3:19-24

The divine promise that “his compassions fail not” is exclusively and only to those who are known of Him – in Christ’s eternal kingdom.

You don’t truly think you are alive due to any goodness of your own, do you?

“He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.” Psalms 103:10

“Know therefore that God exacteth (required) of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.” Job 11:6

“If thou, Lord , shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” Psalms 130:3

Paul was bent on not being found in the end “having mine own righteousness” which is “as filthy rags” in the LORD’s holy sight.

“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64:6

Hint: You were NEVER worthy to receive God’s mercy. He freely gives it to those who come unto Him…. in their filthy rags righteousness (Isaiah 64:7).

“Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly (that’s you!), his faith is counted for righteousness.” Romans 4:4-5

Sinful self-righteousness has no place in the life of a disciple of Jesus. Matthew 21:31

To trust in any supposed or false righteousness that is not the very Person and redemption of Jesus Christ, is to brazenly despise the Almighty by saying Christ came in vain (Galatians 2:21).

Isn’t it better to admit our utter and perpetual need for Him than to feign to be sinless perfection? God be praised for His holy throne of grace and mercy through the blood of Jesus which continual cleanses those who continue in honest heart to come to the light (Luke 8:15; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 1:7-2:2).

In fact, I am personally leery of those who never admit to faults or perhaps sins. This is a sign of those who are are modern pharisees among us. Their sin is self-righteousness and pride. I’m not talking about making excuses for sinning, that’s another gross error. No, I’m talking about confessing our own utter, desperate need for God’s saving mercy and grace daily.

The absence of a “poor” or desperate for more of Christ “spirit” is the clear indicator that the self-righteous person is trusting in self and not Christ.

“Blessed are the poor (desperate, beggar, pauper) in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

The phrase “poor in spirit” speaks of being in a perpetual heart posture of being desperate for the LORD, being fully dependent upon Him as a beggar, a pauper.

A red flag goes up with “false brethren” or “swine” who come along touting Bible verses but never admit to having great and continual need for the LORD’s saving mercies and “compassions” which “fail not.” Yes, divine mercy ever flows to bless, cleanse, and to sanctify those who continue to trust in His mercy through Jesus Christ (Lamentations 3:22; 1 John 1:7). See Matthew 7:1-6; 2 Corinthians 11:26; Galatians 2:4. Beloved, make no mistake: We know from 2 Corinthians 11:26 and Galatians 2:4 that “false brethren” are a reality and have crept in undetected to bring us into “bondage.” Satan is not without his human agents who pose as believers in Jesus and we must become more proficient at detecting them (2 Corinthians 11:12-15).

“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3

It’s laughable to vainly imagine that anyone anywhere is hiding ANYthing from the Almighty!!! He created and owns this Universe. Nothing exists that the LORD Himself didn’t personally created. In HIS earth there are cameras everywhere from every angle … and He even knows the motives and intentions of our hearts. Best to get honest. Repent. Settle out of court, now, before it’s too late.

We can’t hide our sins for faults from God, can we? Interestingly, speaking specifically concerning false shepherds, Jeremiah wrote:

“Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:24

Honesty is a must in the divine economy. David was honest as is every disciple who is the remnant of Christ, ready for His soon return:

“Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul. 2I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. 3I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God. 4They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. 5O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.” Psalms 69:1-5

Better to be “honest” and admit sins before it’s too late, right? In Luke 8:15 Jesus spoke to us of the “HONEST and good heart” which is the heart of the true, few remnant.

David, the man after God’s own heart, cried out:

“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” Psalms 138:8

Through the blood of His only begotten Son, God made provision for redemption, initial forgiveness of sins, and perfection or maturity and holiness in the lives of His blessed saints. Such blessings are appropriated by honesty, trusting by faith the LORD, allowing Him to perfect that which concerns our lives. “Let go and let God” is a good saying.

“The LORD (not us) will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” Psalms 138:8

As we truly abide in Christ, the Father is working in us both to will and to do of His blessed good pleasure!

“… work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13

PRAYER: Holy Father, You are the Potter and I am Your clay. Please pour the water of Your Holy Spirit on my heart to make me poor and pure in heart. Please grant me to have an heart of flesh. Take away the stony places of my heart which were caused by my own rebellion, my own sin – namely self-righteousness, self-idolatry, pride, and unbelief. Please have Your way in  my life. Here and now, I lay my life in Your hands. From this moment forward, not my will but Thine be done dear Jesus! Now please use me to help, to lift up the downtrodden. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Jesus Conquered Sin, Satan, and Death by Dying [podcast]

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:14-15

Through death Jesus conquered sin, death, and Satan and made His people free, washing away their sins in His precious blood and putting His Holy Spirit in them, empowering them to live fruit-filled victorious lives to His eternal glory!

Christ’s resurrection guarantees our resurrection – both now and for eternnity. Those raised up with Christ now are those who are crucified with Him. This is His holy “remnant.” (Isaiah 37:31; Romans 8:11; 1 Corinthians 15, etc.).

Jesus conquered sin and death (separation) by dying on His cross. Because of this, we need never live outside of an abiding relationship with Christ. His grace is sufficient to provide everything He died to purchase for us – and all these blessings are appropriated via our faith, our abiding in Him (John 15; Romans 6:14; 2 Corinthians 12:9-10; Hebrews 4:14-16; 7:24-26, etc.).

In order to be raised up, to walk in His resurrection power and grace, we must first be dead and buried with Christ.

“For he that is dead is freed from sin.” Romans 6:7

***ALL Heaven’s going to break out when this hits you in the heart, when your heart perceives this cross economy divine revelation.

Finishing Strong mean Finishing Crucified and Resurrected

HOW will you finish? It’s really how you finish that matters most! (2 Timothy 4:7-8) Finish strong beloved – lay down your life, death and burial, so that the strength of your life is Christ’s resurrection grace! (See 2 Corinthians 12:9-10) Go down deep.

“And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:” Isaiah 37:31

Read the verse above again, looking for the death, the burial, and raising up!

The context Isaiah 37:31 concerns Assyria seeking to seize Judah and yet out of that evil attempt to conquer God’s people came a “remnant.” Yet it’s those who submitted to the LORD in death, those who took root downward (death and burial) who were reciprocally raised up out of that snare and destruction. Resurrection grace wins every time, with no exception! The cross is the divine prescription for absolute victory in every situation.

God counteracts death by the promise of resurrection – now and in eternity! (1 Corinthians 15; 2 Corinthians 4:10-12).

“Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.” 2 Corinthians 4:10-12

The depth you allow God to bury you determines the height of His resurrection, His raising up in your life! (See 2 Corinthians 4:10-12)

“Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge. 18 For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; they shall withal be fitted in thy lips. 19 That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee. 20 Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, 21 That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?” Proverbs 22:17-21

“Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.” 1 Peter 4:1-2

“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.” 1 John 3:5-6

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

7 Ways to Forgive [podcast]

PRAY

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;” Matthew 5:44

LOVE AND DO GOOD TO THE OFFENDER

“Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.” Romans 12:9

REFUSE TO SPEAK EVIL OF THE OFFENDER

“Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.” Romans 12:14

RELEASE THEM FROM YOUR PUNISHMENT

“Recompense (repay) to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:17-19

DON’T CELEBRATE THEIR FAILURES

“Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: 18 Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.” Proverbs 24:17-18

TREAT THEM THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED

“And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.” Luke 6:31

STOP DWELLING ON THE PAST

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.” Isaiah 43:18

The blessedness of being merciful to others:

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” Matthew 5:7

The only way to prevent holding a grudge, is to simply forgive them – as God freely forgave you through the infinite price Christ paid for your sins on the cross, of which you don’t deserve (Psalms 103:10).

“Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.” James 5:7-9

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:30-32

Being kind and forgiving towards others becomes simple as we look in the mirror and declare with Paul the apostle: “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing.” (Romans 7:18)

“He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.” Psalms 103:10

Forgiveness becomes easy when we look in the mirror to see the person (us, me) who needs God’s mercy more than any other person alive on the earth! Memorize Ephesians 4:32 now. KJB

“For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” James 1:20

“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.” Colossians 3:12-14

Forgiveness Quotes

Forgiveness is ultra important to God. If you don’t forgive all others, you are not forgiven of your own sin and are as sure for hell as if you were already there. If you refuse to forgive you damn your own soul, non-negotiably. irrevocably.

“Forgiveness does not mean what happened is okay. It means not letting what happened take any more of your happiness.” Michelle Maros

“There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love.” Bryant McGill

“Love is an act of endless forgiveness. Forgiveness is me giving up my right to hurt you for hurting me. Forgiveness is the final act of love.” Reinhold Niebuhr

“Holding a grudge doesn’t make you strong; it makes you bitter. Forgiving doesn’t make you weak; it sets you free.” unknown
